Beigu wetland, which has undergone periodical changes in water level, lies by the Yangtze River, and its dominant plants are Phragmites communis, Phalaris arundinacea and Polygonum lapathifolium. In order to study the distribution characteristics of nitrogen and phosphorus in the ecological system of the Mt. Beigu wetland, the authors measured the contents of total nitrogen and total phosphorus in Phragmites communis, Phalaris arundinacea and Polygonum lapathifolium, and the contents of nitrogen and phosphorus in the wetland soils with different plant species. In addition the authors investigated the influence of various plants on the spatial and seasonal (spring/autumn) distributions of nitrogen and phosphorus in the wetland soil. The contents of nitrogen and phosphorus in Phalaris arundinacea are significantly higher than those of the other two plant species in the same part. Secondary pollution of phosphorus in the wetland results mainly from Phalaris arundinacea. Phragmites communis effectively carries away nitrogen and phosphorus in the wetland soil in the wet season. The capacity of Polygonum lapathifolium to remove nitrogen is lowest among the 3 species of plants. These findings offer a theoretical foundation for the selection of plant species to restore the ecological environment and for the selection of time and depth for purging silt on the riverside wetland.展开更多

The inhibition mode by YR and GGH to DNA binding of Hoechst 33258 was analyzed by Lineweaver-Burk plot which shows the plot of typical competitive inhibition at concentration of Hoechst 33258 from 3.66 ( 10-9 mol / L to 1.09 ( 10-8 mol / L. And it is concluded that YR binds to DNA in its minor groove (AT rich regions) with a binding constant K = 1.02 ( 108 (mol / L)-1. The GGH(s specificity is reduced at high concentration because it can also bind GC base pair.展开更多

The expression of the stationary probability distribution function (SPDF) is analytically derived by means of mean-field approximation, and verified by stochastic simulations. The results indicate that: (i) A noise amplitude (a0), a noise autocorrelation time (τ0) and a noise symmetry parameter (k) all can affect the SPDF; (ii) There is an optimal τ0, which makes the mean value of population density be maximal, near which a transition takes place, i.e., the stationary mean value of species density ((x)st) suddenly falls to a lower constant, (iii) As k decreases, the maximum of (x)xt and the optimal 70 increase. The parameter planes of TO -- a20 and τ0- k for the transition are plotted.展开更多
