Additionally, methods of cal- culating the equivalent bending stiffness and post-cracking deflection are proposed. Results of the experiments on 6 beams agree well with the theoretical analysis, which proves the correctness of the proposed formulas.展开更多
The momentum and heat coupling between carrier fluid and particles are a complex and challenge topic in turbulent reactive gas-solid flow modeling.Most observations on this topic,either numerical or experimental,are b...The momentum and heat coupling between carrier fluid and particles are a complex and challenge topic in turbulent reactive gas-solid flow modeling.Most observations on this topic,either numerical or experimental,are based on Eulerian framework,which is not enough for developing the probability density function(PDF) model.In this paper,the instantous behavior and multi-particle statistics of passive scalar along inertial particle trajectory,in homogenous isotropic turbulence with a mean scalar gradient,are investigated by using the direct numerical simulation(DNS).The results show that St^1.0 particles are easy to aggregate in high strain and low vorticity regions in the fluid field,where the scalar dissipation is usually much higher than the mean value,and that every time they move across the cliff structures,the scalar change is much more intensive.Anyway,the self-correlation of scalar along particle trajectory is significantly different from the velocities observed by particle,for which the prefer-concentration effect is evident.The mechanical-to-thermal time scale ratio averaged along the particles,<r> p,is approximately two times smaller than that computed in the Eulerian frame r,and stays at nearly 1.77 with a weak dependence on particle inertia.展开更多
We study the Bell's inequality and multipartite entanglement generation for initially maximally entangled states of free Dirac field in a non inertial frame and asymptotically flat Robertson–Walker space-time.For...We study the Bell's inequality and multipartite entanglement generation for initially maximally entangled states of free Dirac field in a non inertial frame and asymptotically flat Robertson–Walker space-time.For two qubit case,we show that the Bell's inequality always is violated as measured by the accelerated observers which are in the causally connected regions.On the other hand,for those observers in the causally disconnected regions inequality is not violated for any values of acceleration.The generated three qubit state from two qubit state due to acceleration of one parties has a zero 3-tangle.For a three qubit state,the inequality violated for measurements done by both causally connected and disconnected observers.Initially GHZ state with non zero 3-tangle,in accelerated frame,transformed to a four qubit state with vanishing 4-tangle value.On the other hand,for a W-state with zero 3-tangle,in non inertial frame,transformed to a four qubit state with a non-zero 4-tangle acceleration dependent.In an expanding space-time with asymptotically flat regions,for an initially maximally entangled state,the maximum value of violation of Bell's inequality in the far past decreased in the far future due to cosmological particle creation.For some initially maximally entangled states,the generated four qubit state due to expansion of space-time,has non vanishing 4-tangle.展开更多

Binary and collective effe...The stopping and scattering of fast electrons in a dense plasma relevant to inertial confinement fusion (ICF) are investigated numerically with the latest improved cross section equations. Binary and collective effects are considered to determine beam transport parameters such as range, penetration depth, spreading processes as straggling and blooming versus electron energy and plasma parameters. Blooming and straggling effects, which act as consequences of scattering with statistical assumption in collisions, lead to a non-uniform, extended region of energy deposition. Finally the mean angle of deflections is calculated for different plasma energies.展开更多
