A constitutive equation was proposed to describe the effect of grain size on the deformation behavior.And a coupling simulation of deformation with heat transfer and microstructure was carried out in isothermal upsett...A constitutive equation was proposed to describe the effect of grain size on the deformation behavior.And a coupling simulation of deformation with heat transfer and microstructure was carried out in isothermal upsetting process of Ti60 alloy.The effects of processing parameters on the equivalent strain,the equivalent stress,the temperature rise and the grain size distribution in isothermal upsetting process of Ti60 alloy were analyzed.It is concluded that the uniformity of equivalent strain and equivalent stress increases with the increase of deformation temperature.However,the temperature rise and the grain size decreases with the increase of deformation temperature.The non-uniformity of equivalent strain,equivalent stress,temperature field and grain size increases with the increase of height reduction.And the calculated grain size using simulation is in good agreement with the experimental one.展开更多
Plasmonic photocatalysis with tunable light absorption has aroused significant attention in so-lar-to-chemical energy conversion.However,the energy conversion efficiency of plasmonic photo-catalysts is impeded by inef...Plasmonic photocatalysis with tunable light absorption has aroused significant attention in so-lar-to-chemical energy conversion.However,the energy conversion efficiency of plasmonic photo-catalysts is impeded by ineffective charge separation and the lack of highly active sites for redox reactions.In this work,the Au nanoparticle size and Au-TiO2 interaction of the Au/TiO2 plasmonic photocatalyst were adjusted simultaneously using a post-calcination treatment.The visi-ble-ight-induced water oxidation activity exhibited a volcano-like relationship with the calcination temperature;the treated photocatalyst at 600°C manifested the highest activity.Characterization with UV-visible spectra,XRD,SEM,and XPS revealed that the effect of the Au nanoparticle size and Au-TiO2 interaction were both responsible for the increase in plasmon-induced water oxidation activity.展开更多

And then the rule was applied to the...The size effect rule of roller compacted concrete (RCC) fracture toughness was reached on the analysis of fracture toughness of RCC specimens, which have been done by project team. And then the rule was applied to the calculation formula of equivalent strength of crack director in the RCC arch dam, thus a simple and useful formula was reached. The study shows that the equivalent strength of crack directors increases with the increasing intensity of concrete, but the surplus rate of strength of crack directors section decreases with the increasing intensity of concrete and the distance between centers of adjacent crack directors, and that bilateral interval crack directors are more efficient in weakening the strength of section than unidirectional interval crack directors in the case of the same distance between adjacent crack director centers. A good design for crack directors of RCC arch dam is proposed via the rule.展开更多
