The structural and dynamical characters are investigated by molecular dynamics simulation respectively. The results show that the 2D systems via Yukawa and Dressed potentials have a different critical coupling constant F corresponding to the systems beginning to coagulate and exhibit different crystal configurations. Also we find that the size of particles has little influence on the 2D system's structure characters.展开更多

Results showed that the contents of WSREEs decreased from upper layer to lower layer of soils in the southern part of China with a high rainfall and low pH but increased for soils in the northern part of China with a low rainfall and relatively higher pH. Contents of WSREEs in soils were lower than 100 μg kg-1 in most casest and varied greatly with both different soils and different layers of the same profile. The highest content was 2816.3 μg kg-1 but the lowest was 17.6 μg kg-1 only. The content of individual rare earth iement (REE) in the soil solution also varied greatly with the highest one ranging from 8.4 to 1373 μg kg-1 for Ce and the lowest one from 0.05to 4.48 μg kg-1 for Lu. The sum of WSREEs in the first soil layers ranged from 121.5 to 345.6 μg kg-1.Great variations existed among ratios of REEs extracted with water to the total REEs of soils, ranging from 0.02×10-3 to 13.2×10-3. But as the upper layer was considered, the ratio showed only a small difference, ranging from 0.79×10-3 to 1.69×10-3.展开更多

Our results indicate that the biomass of rice seedling decreased as arsenic concentration increased, with the decrease being more significant at higher arsenic concentrations. In addition, the analysis of superoxide dimutase (SOD), peroxidase (POD), and catalase (CAT) in rice roots and leaves showed that the activity of these three enzymes significantly decreased in rice tissues, especially in rice roots, as arsenic concentration was increased,. Further, the uptake and utilization efficiencies of N, P, and K were found to decrease as arsenic concentration was increased. However, the uptake and utilization efficiencies of P and K were mainly affected by As(IlI), whereas those of N were mainly affected by As(V). Inductively coupled plasma-mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) was used to assay arsenic accumulation in rice tissues; the results indicate that the arsenic content in rice tissues was enhanced when arsenic concentration was increased, especially in rice roots after arsenic treatment.展开更多

This work presents the ORR activity in 0.1 mol L-1 KOH and 0.1 tool L-1 K2CO3 at 25 ℃. Cyclic voltammetry (CV) was used to determine the potentials at which the ORR occurs and to evaluate the stability of catalyst. Moreover, a rotating ring-disk electrode (RRDE) was used to investigate the activity of the catalysts and the formation of the by-product hydroperoxide anion (HO2-) as well as to identify the preferred pathway of the ORR. Calculated kinetic parameters for the ORR for the cobalt catalysts are shown in this work together with a comparison to a commercial platinum catalyst. However, the cobalt oxide produced more by-products which could lead to damage of the membrane in a fuel cell through a radical attack of the polymer backbone.展开更多

The dispersion relation for electrostatic waves is derived and analyzed and an expression of the energy integral equation is obtaJned. It is reported here that our plasma model supports solitions, double layers and supersoliton solutions for certain range of parameters. Finally, the effects of different physical plasma parameters on these nonlinear structures are studied numerically. The present theory should be helpful in understanding the salient features of the electrostatic waves in space and in laboratory plasmas where two distinct groups of ions and non-Maxwellian distributed electrons are present.展开更多
