The effects of both thermodynamically stable and metastable second phases on the mechanical properties and martensitic transformations of these alloys were investigated. It is found that thermodynamically stable Ti2Ni phase has no effect on martensitic transformation and superelasticity of Ti-rich TiNi alloy, thermodynamically stable α phase is harmful for ductility of Ti-Mo-Nb-V-Al alloy, but metastable Ti3Ni4 phase is effective for R phase transformation, martensitic transformation and superelasticity of Ni-rich TiNi alloy. The micromigration of oil-drive-water and gas-drive-water in oil and gas fields was studied,by using core slices and micro-experimental technology,and the migration processes and characteristics of oil and gas in pore...The micromigration of oil-drive-water and gas-drive-water in oil and gas fields was studied,by using core slices and micro-experimental technology,and the migration processes and characteristics of oil and gas in pores and throats were observed,as well as entry pressures of oil/gas migration.Research shows that entry pressures of both oil-drive-water and gas-drive-water increase obviously as porosity decreases,and the statistical regularity observes the power function variation.However,there is a complex changing relationship between porosity and different entry pressure values of the two replacement processes,forming three curve sections,each representing a different accumulation significance.When the porosity is over 10%-12%,the difference between oil-drive-water and gas-drive-water entry pressures is small.Both oil and gas can migrate and accumulate in this kind of reservoir.The probabilities of oil and gas reservoir formation are nearly equal,forming conventional oil/gas pools.When porosity is between 5% and 10%-12%,the difference between the two is obvious,which indicates that this kind of reservoir can seal oil,but can also be a reservoir for gas,easily forming unconventional hydrocarbon pools(deep-basin gas pools).When porosity is less than 5%,the difference is indistinct and the entry capillary pressures show the same sealing function for oil and gas.In this condition,both oil and gas pools are difficult to form.Experimental results give a rational explanation for the difference of accumulation probability between deep-basin gas and deep-basin oil,and also for the mechanism of tight sand acting as cap rock.展开更多

METHODS Secondary peristalsis was performed with slow ...AIM To determine whether capsaicin infusion could influence heartburn perception and secondary peristalsis in patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease(GERD). METHODS Secondary peristalsis was performed with slow and rapid mid-esophageal injections of air in 10 patients with GERD. In a first protocol, saline and capsaicincontaining red pepper sauce infusions were randomly performed, whereas 2 consecutive sessions of capsaicin-containing red pepper sauce infusions were performed in a second protocol. Tested solutions including 5 m L of red pepper sauce diluted with 15 m L of saline and 20 m L of 0.9% saline were infused into the mid-esophagus via the manometric catheter at a rate of 10 mL /min with a randomized and doubleblind fashion. During each study protocol, perception of heartburn, threshold volumes and peristaltic parameters for secondary peristalsis were analyzed and compared between different stimuli.RESULTS Infusion of capsaicin significantly increased heartburn perception in patients with GERD(P < 0.001), whereas repeated capsaicin infusion significantly reduced heartburn perception(P = 0.003). Acute capsaicin infusion decreased threshold volume of secondary peristalsis(P = 0.001) and increased its frequency(P = 0.01) during rapid air injection. The prevalence of GERD patients with successive secondary peristalsis during slow air injection significantly increased after capsaicin infusion(P = 0.001). Repeated capsaicin infusion increased threshold volume of secondary peristalsis(P = 0.002) and reduced the frequency of secondary peristalsis(P = 0.02) during rapid air injection. CONCLUSION Acute esophageal exposure to capsaicin enhances heartburn sensation and promotes secondary peristalsis in gastroesophageal reflux disease, but repetitive capsaicin infusion reverses these effects.展开更多
To investigate the effect of separate Al_(2)Ca and Mg_(2)Ca phases on the corrosion properties of Mg−Al−Ca−Mn alloys,OM,SEM,immersion and electrochemical tests were conducted on the as-cast and ECAP Al_(2)Ca-containin...To investigate the effect of separate Al_(2)Ca and Mg_(2)Ca phases on the corrosion properties of Mg−Al−Ca−Mn alloys,OM,SEM,immersion and electrochemical tests were conducted on the as-cast and ECAP Al_(2)Ca-containing(2Ca)and Mg_(2)Ca-containing(4Ca)alloys.At the beginning of corrosion,the two as-cast alloys are corroded slowly compared with ECAP alloys.With prolonging the corrosion time,the corrosion of ECAP alloys becomes slighter than that of as-cast alloys,which is mainly ascribed to the dispersion and refinement of the second phase in ECAP alloys.Moreover,the corrosion degree of 2Ca alloys is always slighter than that of 4Ca alloys,suggesting that Al_(2)Ca phase is more beneficial to the enhancement of corrosion resistance of Mg−Al−Ca−Mn based alloys than Mg_(2)Ca phase.Finally,based on the examinations of corrosion surface and electrochemical testing results,different corrosion mechanisms caused by the distributions and morphology of Al_(2)Ca and Mg_(2)Ca phases are discussed.展开更多

The effect of equal-channel angular pressing(ECAP)processing at room temperature and 300℃on the distribution of the second phase particles and its influence on hardness and electrical conductivity of the commercial C...The effect of equal-channel angular pressing(ECAP)processing at room temperature and 300℃on the distribution of the second phase particles and its influence on hardness and electrical conductivity of the commercial Cu-0.81Cr-0.07Zr alloy were investigated.Microstructural characterization indicated that the area fraction of coarse Cr-rich particles decreased after ECAP processing.This reduction was attributed to the Cr dissolution induced by plastic deformation.The electrical conductivity of the alloy decreased by 12%after 4 ECAP passes at room temperature due to the increase of electrons scattering caused by higher Cr content in solid solution and higher density of defects in the matrix.These results were supported by the reduction of the Cu lattice parameter and by the exothermic reactions,during differential scanning calorimetry(DSC)analysis,observed only in the samples subjected to ECAP processing.Aging heat treatment after ECAP processing promoted an additional hardening effect and the complete recuperation of the electrical conductivity,caused by the re-precipitation of the partially dissolved particles.The better combination of hardness(191 HV)and electrical conductivity(83.5%(IACS))was obtained after 4 ECAP passes at room temperature and subsequent aging at 380℃for 1 h.展开更多

The non-isothermal crystallization kinetics of Nylon 10 T and Nylon 10T/1010 was investigated by means of differential scanning calorimetry(DSC). Jeziorny equation and Mo equation were applied to describe the non-isothermal crystallization kinetics of the Nylon 10 T and the Nylon 10T/1010. The activation energies for non-isothermal crystallization were obtained by Vyazovkin's method and Friedman's method, respectively. These results showed that Jeziorny equation and Mo equation well described the non-isothermal crystallization kinetics of the Nylon 10 T and the Nylon 10T/1010. It was found that the values of the activation energy for non-isothermal crystallization of the Nylon 10T/1010 were lower than those of the Nylon 10 T at a given temperature or relative crystallinity degree,which revealed that crystallization ability of the Nylon 10T/1010 was higher. The crystal morphology was observed by means of a polarized optical microscope(POM) and X-ray diffraction(XRD). It was found that the addition of sebacic acid comonomer not only did not change the crystal form of the Nylon 10 T, but also significantly increased the number and decreased the size of spherulites. Comparing with the Nylon 10 T, the crystallization rate was increased with the addition of the sebacic acid comonomer.展开更多

The vector potential can be related t...We propose a numerical solution of Faraday's law of induction based on the knowledge of the time-varying, non-uniform vector potential inside arbitrarily shaped electrical coils. The vector potential can be related to the magnetic induction which yields the well-known form of Faraday's law. The algorithm applies for non-retarding fields within the quasi-stationary regime. The model is intended to help to understand the behavior of electromagnetic fields inside the discharge chambers of radio-frequency ion thrusters. This provides a basis for modeling an inductively-coupled plasma which is kept burning by absorbing electromagnetic energy. In the long run, this plasma model will be used to support development processes of electric and electronic control devices which are needed for driving radio-frequency ion thrusters more efficiently. To predict the induced radio frequency fields more precisely, the skin effect along the coil wire is modeled. Furthermore, an impedance model of the coil, which incorporates the skin effect, is introduced. The simulated data are compared to measured values obtained by a generic electric field probe. Although the probe was uncalibrated, the observed values were highly similar to the expected values as determined by the numerical solution.展开更多

The presence of high concentrations of polysaccharides, polyphenols, proteins, and other secondary metabolites in mango leaves poses problem in getting good quality DNA fit for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) applications. The problem is exacerbated when DNA is extracted from mature mango leaves. A reliable and modified protocol based on the cetyl trimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) method for DNA extraction from mature mango leaves is described here. High concentrations of inert salt were used to remove polysaccharides; Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) and 13-mercaptoethanol were employed to man'age phenolic compounds. Extended chloroform-isoamyl alcohol treatment followed by RNase treatment yielded 950-1050 pg of good quality DNA, free of protein and RNA. The problems of DNA degradation,contamination, and low yield due to irreversible binding of phenolic compounds and coprecipitation of polysaccharides with DNA were avoided by this method, The DNA isolated by the modified method showed good PCR amplification using simple sequence repeat (SSR) primers, This modified protocol can also be used to extract DNA from other woody plants having similar problems.展开更多
Background and objective: In clinical practice, the standard of secondary prevention for coronary heart disease (CHD) is quite disappointing in China. The physicians' shortage of knowledge of secondary prevention ...Background and objective: In clinical practice, the standard of secondary prevention for coronary heart disease (CHD) is quite disappointing in China. The physicians' shortage of knowledge of secondary prevention guidelines is thought to be a key factor contributing to the inadequate and delayed translation of guidelines into clinical practice. The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of physicians' characteristics, including their educa- tion and work experience, on their knowledge of secondary prevention in China. Methods: A representative ques- tionnaire survey was made of physicians from cardiology departments in 35 tertiary hospitals in China. The survey contained 19 questions on knowledge of guideline recommendations for the secondary prevention of CHD. We col- lected basic information about the physicians, including their educational degree, clinical practice duration/work experience and geographic region. Results: In total, 864 physicians participated in the survey. Eight hundred and thirty-seven completed questionnaires were analyzed. For 6 of the 19 questions, physicians with a postgraduate degree were more likely to answer correctly than those without such a degree. For 11 of the 19 questions, physicians with more than three years' clinical experience were more likely to answer correctly than those who had less than three years' experience. For 5 of the 19 questions, physicians.from eastern areas were more likely to answer correctly than those from mid/western areas. The mean total score of correct answers to the questionnaire was 11.69 points. Edu- cational degree and clinical practice duration affected total scores significantly while practice location did not (β=0.500, P=0.004; ,β=0.979, P=0.000; and 8=0.228, P=0.162, respectively). Even if a relatively low score of 12 is taken as a threshold level of acceptable knowledge (defined as a pass), the pass rate of all physicians was only 53.9%. Educational degree and clinical practice duration affected pass rate significantly while practice location did not (95% CI: 1.222-2.248, P=0.001; 95% CI: 1.773-3.140, P=0.000; and 95% CI: 0.993-1.758, P=0.056, respectively). Conclu- sions: Physicians with a clinical practice duration of more than three years knew more about secondary prevention guidelines than those with less experience. Physicians with a postgraduate degree knew more about secondary prevention guidelines than those without a postgraduate degree. However, overall knowledge of secondary prevention guidelines for CHD was poor among this group of physicians from tertiary hospitals.展开更多

文摘To investigate the effect of separate Al_(2)Ca and Mg_(2)Ca phases on the corrosion properties of Mg−Al−Ca−Mn alloys,OM,SEM,immersion and electrochemical tests were conducted on the as-cast and ECAP Al_(2)Ca-containing(2Ca)and Mg_(2)Ca-containing(4Ca)alloys.At the beginning of corrosion,the two as-cast alloys are corroded slowly compared with ECAP alloys.With prolonging the corrosion time,the corrosion of ECAP alloys becomes slighter than that of as-cast alloys,which is mainly ascribed to the dispersion and refinement of the second phase in ECAP alloys.Moreover,the corrosion degree of 2Ca alloys is always slighter than that of 4Ca alloys,suggesting that Al_(2)Ca phase is more beneficial to the enhancement of corrosion resistance of Mg−Al−Ca−Mn based alloys than Mg_(2)Ca phase.Finally,based on the examinations of corrosion surface and electrochemical testing results,different corrosion mechanisms caused by the distributions and morphology of Al_(2)Ca and Mg_(2)Ca phases are discussed.
文摘Occult hepatitis B infection(OBI) is characterized by hepatitis B virus(HBV) DNA in serum in the absence of hepatitis B surface antigen(HBsAg) presenting HBsAg-negative and anti-HBc positive serological patterns.Occult HBV status is associated in some cases with mutant viruses undetectable by HBsAg assays;but more frequently it is due to a strong suppression of viral replication and gene expression.OBI is an entity with world-wide diffusion.The failure to detect HBsAg,despite the persistence of the viral DNA,is due in most cases to the strong suppression of viral replication and gene expression that characterizes this"occult"HBV infection;although the mechanisms responsible for suppression of HBV are not well understood.The majority of OBI cases are secondary to overt HBV infection and represent a residual low viremia level suppressed by a strong immune response together with histological derangements which occurred during acute or chronic HBV infection.Much evidence suggests that it can favour the progression of liver fibrosis and the development of hepatocellular carcinoma.
文摘The effect of equal-channel angular pressing(ECAP)processing at room temperature and 300℃on the distribution of the second phase particles and its influence on hardness and electrical conductivity of the commercial Cu-0.81Cr-0.07Zr alloy were investigated.Microstructural characterization indicated that the area fraction of coarse Cr-rich particles decreased after ECAP processing.This reduction was attributed to the Cr dissolution induced by plastic deformation.The electrical conductivity of the alloy decreased by 12%after 4 ECAP passes at room temperature due to the increase of electrons scattering caused by higher Cr content in solid solution and higher density of defects in the matrix.These results were supported by the reduction of the Cu lattice parameter and by the exothermic reactions,during differential scanning calorimetry(DSC)analysis,observed only in the samples subjected to ECAP processing.Aging heat treatment after ECAP processing promoted an additional hardening effect and the complete recuperation of the electrical conductivity,caused by the re-precipitation of the partially dissolved particles.The better combination of hardness(191 HV)and electrical conductivity(83.5%(IACS))was obtained after 4 ECAP passes at room temperature and subsequent aging at 380℃for 1 h.

文摘Nylon 10 T and Nylon 10T/1010 samples were synthesized by direct melt polymerization. The non-isothermal crystallization kinetics of Nylon 10 T and Nylon 10T/1010 was investigated by means of differential scanning calorimetry(DSC). Jeziorny equation and Mo equation were applied to describe the non-isothermal crystallization kinetics of the Nylon 10 T and the Nylon 10T/1010. The activation energies for non-isothermal crystallization were obtained by Vyazovkin's method and Friedman's method, respectively. These results showed that Jeziorny equation and Mo equation well described the non-isothermal crystallization kinetics of the Nylon 10 T and the Nylon 10T/1010. It was found that the values of the activation energy for non-isothermal crystallization of the Nylon 10T/1010 were lower than those of the Nylon 10 T at a given temperature or relative crystallinity degree,which revealed that crystallization ability of the Nylon 10T/1010 was higher. The crystal morphology was observed by means of a polarized optical microscope(POM) and X-ray diffraction(XRD). It was found that the addition of sebacic acid comonomer not only did not change the crystal form of the Nylon 10 T, but also significantly increased the number and decreased the size of spherulites. Comparing with the Nylon 10 T, the crystallization rate was increased with the addition of the sebacic acid comonomer.

文摘We propose a numerical solution of Faraday's law of induction based on the knowledge of the time-varying, non-uniform vector potential inside arbitrarily shaped electrical coils. The vector potential can be related to the magnetic induction which yields the well-known form of Faraday's law. The algorithm applies for non-retarding fields within the quasi-stationary regime. The model is intended to help to understand the behavior of electromagnetic fields inside the discharge chambers of radio-frequency ion thrusters. This provides a basis for modeling an inductively-coupled plasma which is kept burning by absorbing electromagnetic energy. In the long run, this plasma model will be used to support development processes of electric and electronic control devices which are needed for driving radio-frequency ion thrusters more efficiently. To predict the induced radio frequency fields more precisely, the skin effect along the coil wire is modeled. Furthermore, an impedance model of the coil, which incorporates the skin effect, is introduced. The simulated data are compared to measured values obtained by a generic electric field probe. Although the probe was uncalibrated, the observed values were highly similar to the expected values as determined by the numerical solution.

In this paper,the observation data from Anshan Second Order Leveling during 1987-[KG-*7]-1994,combined with the area of environmental engineering geology and geological conditions analysis shows that land subsidence in Anshan City is closely related to active tectonics,Quaternary strata and groundwater exploitation.

文摘Based on the reduced-form approach, this paper investigates the pricing problems of default-risk bonds and credit default swaps(CDSs) for a fractional stochastic interest rate model with jump under the framework of primary-secondary. Using properties of the quasi-martingale with respect to the fractional Brownian motion and the jump technique in Park(2008), the authors first derive the explicit pricing formula of defaultable bonds. Then, based on the newly obtained pricing formula of defaultable bonds, the CDS is priced by the arbitrage-free principle. This paper presents an extension of the primary-secondary framework in Jarrow and Yu(2001).

文摘Good quality deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) is the pre-requisite for its downstream applications. The presence of high concentrations of polysaccharides, polyphenols, proteins, and other secondary metabolites in mango leaves poses problem in getting good quality DNA fit for polymerase chain reaction (PCR) applications. The problem is exacerbated when DNA is extracted from mature mango leaves. A reliable and modified protocol based on the cetyl trimethylammonium bromide (CTAB) method for DNA extraction from mature mango leaves is described here. High concentrations of inert salt were used to remove polysaccharides; Polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) and 13-mercaptoethanol were employed to man'age phenolic compounds. Extended chloroform-isoamyl alcohol treatment followed by RNase treatment yielded 950-1050 pg of good quality DNA, free of protein and RNA. The problems of DNA degradation,contamination, and low yield due to irreversible binding of phenolic compounds and coprecipitation of polysaccharides with DNA were avoided by this method, The DNA isolated by the modified method showed good PCR amplification using simple sequence repeat (SSR) primers, This modified protocol can also be used to extract DNA from other woody plants having similar problems.

文摘Background and objective: In clinical practice, the standard of secondary prevention for coronary heart disease (CHD) is quite disappointing in China. The physicians' shortage of knowledge of secondary prevention guidelines is thought to be a key factor contributing to the inadequate and delayed translation of guidelines into clinical practice. The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of physicians' characteristics, including their educa- tion and work experience, on their knowledge of secondary prevention in China. Methods: A representative ques- tionnaire survey was made of physicians from cardiology departments in 35 tertiary hospitals in China. The survey contained 19 questions on knowledge of guideline recommendations for the secondary prevention of CHD. We col- lected basic information about the physicians, including their educational degree, clinical practice duration/work experience and geographic region. Results: In total, 864 physicians participated in the survey. Eight hundred and thirty-seven completed questionnaires were analyzed. For 6 of the 19 questions, physicians with a postgraduate degree were more likely to answer correctly than those without such a degree. For 11 of the 19 questions, physicians with more than three years' clinical experience were more likely to answer correctly than those who had less than three years' experience. For 5 of the 19 questions, physicians.from eastern areas were more likely to answer correctly than those from mid/western areas. The mean total score of correct answers to the questionnaire was 11.69 points. Edu- cational degree and clinical practice duration affected total scores significantly while practice location did not (β=0.500, P=0.004; ,β=0.979, P=0.000; and 8=0.228, P=0.162, respectively). Even if a relatively low score of 12 is taken as a threshold level of acceptable knowledge (defined as a pass), the pass rate of all physicians was only 53.9%. Educational degree and clinical practice duration affected pass rate significantly while practice location did not (95% CI: 1.222-2.248, P=0.001; 95% CI: 1.773-3.140, P=0.000; and 95% CI: 0.993-1.758, P=0.056, respectively). Conclu- sions: Physicians with a clinical practice duration of more than three years knew more about secondary prevention guidelines than those with less experience. Physicians with a postgraduate degree knew more about secondary prevention guidelines than those without a postgraduate degree. However, overall knowledge of secondary prevention guidelines for CHD was poor among this group of physicians from tertiary hospitals.
