For the first time the paper calculated Gini Coefficient of the whole Zhejiang Province (city and countryside together) by using the concise formula for Gini Coefficient. The conclusion is: Based on the data in 〈Zhejiang statistics yearbook 2004〉 the Gini Coefficient for the whole Zhejiang province is 0.3749; the Gini Coefficient for Zhejiang’s cities and towns is 0.3001; the Gini Coefficient for Zhejiang’s countryside is 0.3415. Then the paper pointed out a serious mistake in the data in 〈Zhejiang statistics yearbook 2004〉. After correcting the mistake in the data, the Gini Coefficient for the whole Zhejiang became 0.4783 from 0.3749.展开更多
