In this paper, the solution of Chebyshev equation with its argument being greater than 1 is obtained. The initial value of the derivative of the solution is the expression of magnetization, which is valid for any spin quantum number S. The Chebyshev equation is transformed from an ordinary differential equation obtained when we dealt with Heisenberg model, in order to calculate all three components of magnetization, by many-body Green's function under random phase approximation. The Chebyshev functions with argument being greater than 1 are discussed. This paper shows that the Chebyshev polynomials with their argument being greater than 1 have their physical application. 展开更多

Making use of the method, we present rich exact analytical solutions of the onedimensional nonlinear Schrfdinger equation which describes the dynamics of solitons in Bose-Einstein condensates with time-dependent atomic scattering length in an expulsive parabolic potential. The solutions obtained include not only non-traveling wave and coefficient function's soliton solutions, but also Jacobi elliptic function solutions and Weierstra.ss elliptic function solutions. Some plots are given to demonstrate the properties of some exact solutions under the Feshbachmanaged nonlinear coefficient and the hyperbolic secant function coefficient. 展开更多

In this paper, we investigate the Ishikawa iteration process in a p -uniformly smooth Banach space X . Motivated by Deng and Tan and Xu , we prove that the Ishikawa iteration process converges strongly to the unique solution of the equation Tx=f when T is a Lipschitzian and strongly accretive operator from X to X , or to the unique fixed point of T when T is a Lipschitzian and strictly pseudo contractive mapping from a bounded closed convex subset C of X into itself. Our results improve and extend Theorem 4.1 and 4.2 of Tan and Xu by removing the restrion lim n→∞β n=0 or lim n→∞α n= lim n→∞β n=0 in their theorems. These also extend Theorems 1 and 2 of Deng to the p -uniformly smooth Banach space setting. 展开更多

The problemis reformulated as an equivalent one on a boundary T using natural boundary reduction.The governing equation is first discretized in time, leading to a time-stepping scheme,where an exterior elliptic problem has to be solved in each time step. By Fourier ex-pansion, we derive a natural integral equation of the elliptic problem related to timestep and Poisson integral integral formula over exterior circular domain. Finite elementdiscretization of the natural integral equation is employed to solve this problem. Thecomputational aspects of this method are discussed. Numerical results are presented toillustrate feasibility and efficiency of our method. 展开更多
