This paper analyzes the fuzzy variable structure control algorithms for delay systems and describes the compensation mechanism of the integral factor to the effect of the delay. Based on the linearized model of the congestion-avoidance flow-control mode of transmission control protocol (TCP), we present delay control algorithms for active queue management (AQM) and discuss the parameter tuning of the algorithms. The NS (network simulator) simulation results show that the proposed control scheme for the nonlinear TCP/AQM model has good performance and robustness with respect to the uncertainties of the round-trip time (RTT) and the number of active TCP sessions. Compared to other similar schemes, our algorithms perform better in terms of packet loss ratio, throughput and butter fluctuation. 展开更多

The optical transmission sp... ZnO films are deposited on glass slides by radio frequency(RF) magnetron sputtering under different powers. The polycrystal structures and surface morphologies of the film are investigated. The optical transmission spectra for the ZnO films are measured within the range from 300 nm to 800 nm. The optical constants and thickness of the films are determined using a nonlinear programming method suggested by Birgin et al. The band gap of the film increases with reducing the nano-size of the film grains. The packing density of the films can be improved by reducing the RF power. 展开更多

Local segregation in Cu-In precursors and its effects on the element distribution and microstructures of selenized CuInSe2 thin films were investigated. Cu-In precursors with an ideal total mole ratio of Cu to In of 0.92 were prepared by middle frequency alternating current magnetron sputtering with Cu-In alloy target, then CuInSe2 absorbers for solar cells were formed by selenization process in selenium atmosphere. Scanning electron microscope and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscope were used respectively to observe the surface morphologies and determine the compositions of both Cu-In precursors and CuInSe2 thin films. Their microstructures were characterized by X-ray diffractometry and Raman spectroscope. The results show that Cu-In precursors are mainly composed of (Cu11In9) phase with In-rich solid solution. Stoichiometric CuInSe2 thin films with a homogeneous element distribution and single chalcopyrite phase can be synthesized from a segregated Cu-In precursor film with an ideal total mole ratio of Cu to In of 0.92. CuInSe2 thin film shows P-type conductivity and its resistivity reaches 1.2×103Ω·cm. 展开更多

Information-Centric Networking(ICN) has recently emerged as a result of the increased demand to access contents regardless of their location in the network services. This new approach facilitates content distribution as a service of the network with lower delay and higher security in comparison with the current IP network. Applying ICN in current IP infrastructure leads to major complexities. One approach to deploy ICN with less complexity is to integrate ICN with Software Defined Networking(SDN). The SDN controller manages the content distribution, caching, and routing based on the users' requests. In this paper, we extend these context by addressing the ICN topology management problem over the SDN network to achieve an improved user experience as well as network performance. In particular, a centralized controller is designed to construct and manage the ICN overlay. Experimental results indicate that this adopted topology management strategy achieves high performance, in terms of low failure in interest satisfaction and reduced download time compared to a plain ICN. 展开更多

This paper proposes a circuit structure which can be used for both synchronous and asynchronous pipeline control. It is a self-circulation structure with embedded delay network, and a pipeline can be controlled by this structure with the interconnection of adjacent stages. This paper first proposes a basic circuit structure, then a linear pipeline is designed with self-circulation structure. The performance of linear pipeline is analyzed, and a 16-bit digital signal processor (DSP) with the structure is designed to prove the validity of the structure. Results show that about 10%-15% power consumption is saved with self-circulation structure compared with synchronous counterpart, while almost the same performance is achieved. 展开更多

A variable structure based control scheme was proposed for Active Queue Management(AQM) by using sliding model algorithm and reach law method. This approach aims to address the tradeoff between good performance and robustness with respect to the uncertainties of the round-trip time and the number of active connections. Ns simulations results show that the proposed design significantly outperforms the peer AQM schemes in terms of fluctuation in the queue length, packet throughput, and loss ratio. The conclusion is that proposed scheme is in favor of the achievement to AQM objectives due to its good transient and steady performance. 展开更多

So,a novel topology of an state of art integrated circuit, which can be used as power management circuit, has been designed based on the above new topology. An open-loop control system for hovering at any selected position on spacecraft orbit is first presented given that the satellite's engine provides continuous finite thrust. Actually, the hovering states are unstable considering perturbations and thrust errors, so a feedback sliding mode variable structure control, which is adaptive and chattering-free, is designed. Under this feedback control scheme, the high-frequency chattering phenomenon is avoided, while the system stays highly robust at the same time. Simulation results show that the feedback control thrusts are continuous and the steady-states error can be confmed to 10-4 m at the presence of uncertain perturbations. Finally, the feasibility of realizing hovering orbits is analyzed taking the "Moliya" and geosynchronous Earth orbit (GEO) satellites as examples. 展开更多
