The number of large vascular bundles (LVB), the number of small vascular bundles (SVB) in the peduncle, and the panicle traits including the number of primary rachis branches (PRB), the number of spikelets per panicle (SNP), peduncle top diameter (PTD), and panicle length (PL) were investigated in the parents and DH lines. The quantitative trait loci (QTLs) for each trait were analyzed based on the constructed molecular linkage map of this population. Three QTLs for LVB (qLVB_1, qLVB_6 and qLVB_7) were detected on chromosomes 1, 6, and 7, respectively. Two putative QTLs for SVB (qSVB_4 and qSVB_6) were mapped on chromosomes 4 and 6 respectively. Four QTLs (qPRB_4a, qPRB_4b, qPRB_6 and qPRB_7) on chromosomes 4, 6, and 7, respectively, were detected for PRB. Three QTLs (qSPN_4a, qSPN_4b and qSPN_6) were identified on chromosomes 4 and 6, respectively, which could significantly affect SPN. Five QTLs for PTD (qPTD_2, qPTD_5, qPTD_6, qPTD_8 and qPTD_12) were identified on chromosomes 2, 5, 6, 8, and 12, respectively. Three QTLs for PL (qPL_4, qPL_6 and qPL_8) were detected on chromosomes 4, 6, and 8, respectively. Clustering of QTLs, such as qLVB_6, qSVB_6, qSNP_6, qPTD_6, and qPL_6 detected in the interval G122_G1314b on chromosome 6, was found. These results suggest that some QTLs for peduncle vascular bundle system are possibly responsible for the panicle traits.展开更多

Two types of mainly used tube bundles, the planar elastic tube bundle and the conical spiral tube bundle were comprehensively compared in the condition of the same shell side diameter. The natural mode characteristics, the effect of fluid-structure interaction, the stress distribution, the comprehensive heat transfer performance and the secondary fluid flow of the two elastic tube bundles were all concluded and compared. The results show that the natural frequency and the critical velocity of vibration buckling of the planar elastic tube bundle are larger than those of the conical spiral tube bundle, while the stress distribution and the comprehensive heat transfer performance of the conical spiral tube bundle are relatively better.展开更多
Status and trends of biodiversity components in Republic of Macedonia are presented in this article. The monitoring of biodiversity components is conducted according to the criteria of SEBI 2010 (Streamlining Europea...Status and trends of biodiversity components in Republic of Macedonia are presented in this article. The monitoring of biodiversity components is conducted according to the criteria of SEBI 2010 (Streamlining European 2010 Biodiversity Indicators) for establishment of consistency at global, regional, EU and national indicator level. Two core segments of the Biodiversity Strategy and Action Plan of Republic of Macedonia are presented as well as the draft list of biodiversity indicators. Ecosystems and biotopes (presented with plant communities) are explained from which 30 Corine habitat classes are identified for the Republic of Macedonia. The number of endemic and endangered species from different taxonomic groups of vascular plants, fungi, fauna, and Emerald species with European importance are presented. Agro-biodiversity, structure of agriculture land, autochthonic breeds of domestic animals as well as the network of protected areas in Republic of Macedonia are presented. At the end conclusion remarks are given for future necessary activities at national and international level regarding monitoring and conservation of the biodiversity.展开更多
Growth of semi-polar (1-101)GaN has been attempted on a patterned (001) silicon substrate adopting selective area MOVPE. The growth was initiated on (111) facets of the Si, which had been prepared by anisotropy ...Growth of semi-polar (1-101)GaN has been attempted on a patterned (001) silicon substrate adopting selective area MOVPE. The growth was initiated on (111) facets of the Si, which had been prepared by anisotropy etching in a KOH solution. A uni- form semi-polar layer was achieved by coalescence of stripes. Since the growth was performed on facets, the surface was atomically fiat in AFM surface analyses. By using a high temperature grown A1N nucleation layer, we achieved low threading dislocation density at the top most surface. Moreover, by tilting the c-axis of the GaN on the Si substrate, the effect of the thermal expansion coefficient mismatch was much reduced. As the result, we achieved a crack free (1-101)GaN template on (001)Si. On the thus prepared (1-101)GaN, a GalnN/GaN LED was fabricated, which showed excellent performance with weak quantum confined Stark effect.展开更多
