Eleven spillover events have been identified since the first description of the virus in 1994,resulting in a total of 37 equine cases and six human cases. All human cases have been attributed to exposure to infected horses;there is no evidence of bat-to-human or human-to-human transmission. Low infectivity and a high case fatality rate are features of Hendra virus infection in both horses and humans. The temporal pattern of spillover events suggests seasonal factors(plausibly be environmental, biological or ecological) as the proximate triggers for spillover. Minimisation of the future occurrence and impact of Hendra virus infections requires an understanding of the ecology of flying foxes,of virus infection dynamics in flying foxes, and of the factors that promote spillover. Management strategies seek to minimize the opportunity for effective contact between bats and horses, and limit potential horse-to-horse and horse-to-human transmission. Incomplete knowledge of the ecology of the virus,of the proximate factors associated with spillover, and the inherent difficulties of effectively managing wild populations, preclude a management approach targeted at bats.展开更多

The consequences of self-fertilization are important factors determining the germplasm management in such species with levels of heterogeneity and heterozygsity. Effects of self-fertilization on floral, yield and yield components characters were evaluated by comparing two levels of selfing, produced in bee-proof cages, in open-pollination at two locations in Sudan. Selfing process results in no significant differences in yield and yield components within each cultivar. Autofertile lines with reduced partial dependence on insects for seed set could be produced. Spatial isolation should be used to maintain the genetic purity of such lines. An alternate strategy for entries multiplication should focus on increasing heterozygosity and the maintenance of cross-fertilization inside the entries to prevent contamination with foreign pollens. Our results follow the previous knowledge on faba bean genetic resources conservation and management.展开更多

It is becoming possible thanks to such managing operations of the organization, when in the end an image in accordance with expectations, giving the state back to the value of organizations is being got. Creating the goodwill is based among others on immaterial factors, which although they are becoming impossible to include in balance, are taken hold in time value of the organization. Creation of the value of an organization may be based on the organizational culture. The article presents the essence of value management and organization characterized the factors affecting the formation of organizational culture, ways of dealing with an organization aimed at consolidating and strengthening the organizational culture. Sometimes organizations feel the need to change the culture in order to achieve increased efficiency and ensure the success of the company to implement the necessary changes. Therefore, the rest of this article presents the elements to ensure a smooth implementation and consolidation of cultural change.展开更多
