Moreover, the exact expression of channel capacit...A new analytical expression is presented for the instantaneous power Probability Density Function （PDF） of receiver signals over composite K-u/gamma fading channels. Moreover, the exact expression of channel capacity is derived in the form of an infinite series, while an accurate approximation expression is obtained in closed form. To reveal the implications of the model parameters on capacity, we provide an expression for the case of a high-SNR environment. The relationship of the presented results with previously reported results on generalised-K and K fading channels is also discussed. Finally, numerical and simulation results are presented to prove the correctness of our derived expressions.展开更多

It is also well known that, in scrotal mammals, spermatogenesis depends greatly on the maintenance of comparatively low temperature in the scrotum. To investigate whether the expression of cdc2 and Cyclin B1 in spermatogenic cells during spermatogenesis is actually a temperature dependent event, in situ hybridization, Western blotting and immunohistochemistry analysis were used to study the expression of cdc2 and Cyclin B1 in normal and cryptorchid testis. Results showed that the abdominal temperature had no significant influence on the transcription of cdc2 and Cyclin B1 in the spermatogonia and pachytene/diplotene primary spermatocytes, but it blocked the translation of them. Due to the deficiency of p34cdc2 and Cyclin B1, the spermatogonia and pachytene/diplotene primary spermatocytes were unable to form MPF, hence, they couldn’t undergo karyokinesis. The development of primary spermatocytes was arrested at the G2 to M phase transition. We also found that testosterone could regulate the Cyclin B1 expression in spermatogenic cells. Muscular injection of testosterone could recover spermatogenesis in the unilateral scrotal testis which was influenced by the contralateral cryptorchid testis, but it could not salvage the spermatogenesis block in the cryptorchid testis.展开更多

Accurate digital elevation map is essential to esti...Terrain referenced navigation estimates an aircraft navigation status by utilizing a radar altimeter measuring a distance between the aircraft and terrain elevation. Accurate digital elevation map is essential to estimate the aircraft states correctly. However, the elevation map cannot represent the real terrain perfectly and there exists map error between the estimated and the true maps. In this paper, an influence of the map error on measurement equation is analyzed and a technique to incorporate the error in the filter is proposed. The map error is divided into two sources, accuracy error and resolution error. The effectiveness of the suggested technique is verified by simulation results. The method modifies a sensor noise covariance only so there is no additional computational burden from the conventional filter.展开更多
