Gold bearing pyrite leaching was conducted in H2SO4-Fe2(SO4)3 system at different reaction temperatures,with different ferric ion concentrations,sulfuric acid concentrations and stirring speeds.The leaching kinetics...Gold bearing pyrite leaching was conducted in H2SO4-Fe2(SO4)3 system at different reaction temperatures,with different ferric ion concentrations,sulfuric acid concentrations and stirring speeds.The leaching kinetics and mechanism were studied.When the temperature ranged between 30-75 °C,the pyrite leaching was mainly controlled by chemical reaction with positive correlation to the ferric ion concentration.The activation energy obtained from Arrhenius empirical formula is 51.39 k J/mol.The EDS and XPS analyses suggest that the oxidation of sulfur within pyrite is through a series of intermediate stages,and eventually is oxidized to sulphate accompanied with the formation of element sulfur.This indicates a thiosulfate oxidation pathway of the gold bearing pyrite oxidation in H2SO4-Fe2(SO4)3 system.展开更多

[Method] This paper adopts the emergy methods to evaluate the emergy input and output. [Result] The growth of total emergy input was mainly caused by the auxiliary factors in this phase. The proportion of the nonrenewable purchased emergy input to the total auxiliary emergy input increased from 21.80% in 1980 to 33.04% in 2010. In 1980-2010 the total emergy output of the system increased by 2.43 times, the proportions of the stock farming emergy output and fishery emergy output to the total emergy output increased sharply, while those of the planting emergy output and forestry emergy output showed a considerable decline. [Conclusion] The emergy yield ratio of this system was improved but its sustainability was worrying.展开更多

To overcome the gap, an effective differential encoding and decoding scheme for multiband UWB systems is proposed. The proposed scheme employs the parallel concatenation of two recursive differential unitary space-frequency encoders at the transmitter. At the receiver, two component decoders iteratively decode information bits by interchanging soft metric values between each other. To reduce the computation complexity, a decoding algorithm which only uses transition probability to calculate the log likelihood ratios (LLRs) for the decoded bits is given. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme can dramatically outperform the conventional differential and even coherent detection at high SNR with a few iterations.展开更多

A mathematical model for the multi-cell multi-user downlink transmission is established, and the gradients of the variables including beamfonning filters, receiving filters and transmitting power are calculated. Then, a gradient-project-based cooperative beamforming scheme is proposed in which each user iteratively adjusts bearnforming variables in the direction of the gradients and projects onto feasible spaces. The information exchange protocol needed to support the scheme is also described. Simulation results show that the proposed scheme can achieve an average spectral efficiency of about 5 bit/( s · Hz · cell). The results show that cooperative beamforming can improve the spectrum efficiency of the cellular systems.展开更多

Although mesenteric ischemia occurs ...Mesenteric ischemia disorders are precipitated by a circulation insufficiency event that deprives one or several abdominal organs of adequate respiration to meet metabolic demands. Although mesenteric ischemia occurs infrequently, the mortality rate is from 60% to 100%, depending on the source of obstruction. The successful outcome is dependent upon a high index of suspicion and prompt management. We briefly review the pathophysiology and presentation of the various ischemic entities and review the current state of the art in diagnosis and treatment. Despite advances in both diagnosis and treatment, prompt diagnosis and supportive care remain critical for successful outcome. New imaging techniques, endovascular therapy and emerging research may improve our approach to this deadly condition.展开更多
In a model experiment, which imitated the rhizosphere of rice, the effect of organic acids (oxalic acid, citric acid) and protons on the release of non-exchangeable NH4+ and the resin adsorption of N was studied in a ...In a model experiment, which imitated the rhizosphere of rice, the effect of organic acids (oxalic acid, citric acid) and protons on the release of non-exchangeable NH4+ and the resin adsorption of N was studied in a paddy soil, typical for Zhejiang Province, China. Oxalic and citric acids under low pH conditions, in combination with proton secretion, favored the mobilization of NH4+ ions and increased resin adsorption of N. The release of non-exchangeable NH4+ was associated with less formation of iron oxides. These could coat clay minerals and thus hinder the diffusion of NH4+ ions out of the interlayer. Protons enhanced the release of NH4+, and then they could enter the wedge zones of the clay minerals and displace non-exchangeable NH4+ ions.展开更多

The method of leaching nickel sulfide concentration direc...The feasibility of oxidation leaching process of nickel from nickel sulfide ore and the form of different components in the lixivium has been studied at first. The method of leaching nickel sulfide concentration directly by oxidants with existence of ultrasonic has been advanced. The process of leaching nickel from nickel sulfide concentration by using the system of persulfate and silver has been determined. The influence of different factors on the leaching rates of nickel,such as with and without ultrasonic,the concentration of Na2S2O8,liquid-solid ratio and the concentration of AgNO3 have been explored. The results show that:(1) in the oxidative leaching system,nickel can be leached completely as Ni2+ or NiSO4(aq.) from nickel sulfide concentration in theory;(2) the nicopyrite can not exist steadily in the persulfate acid leaching system,but Ni2+can. Meanwhile,sulfur may be existed steadily in the leaching process;(3) nicopyrite with much lower electrostatic potential may be leached earlier than chalcopyrite and sideropyrite;and(4) the overall reaction rate of the leaching process can be enhanced with ultrasonic radiation,but it does not change the mechanism of leaching. The more oxidant concentration or higher liquid-solid ratio is,the higher leaching percentage of nickel. The leaching percentage of nickel can be increased significantly by adding a small amount of AgNO3 during the leaching processes. Under the same conditions,the higher concentration of AgNO3 is,the higher leaching yields of nickel will be obtained.展开更多
