The design and fabrication of a RF MEMS switch is reported for the first time in China.The switching element consists of a thin metallic membrane,which has the metal-isolator-metal contact and a capacitive shunt switch as single-pole single-throw.When an electrostatic potential is applied to the membrane and the bottom electrode,the attractive electrostatic force pulls the metal membrane down onto the bottom dielectric.The switch characteristics,such as insertion loss and isolation,depend on the off and on-capacitance.The test results are as follows:the pulldown voltage is about 20V;the insertion loss is less than 0 69dB from DC to 20GHz in the up-state;the isolation is more than 13dB from 14 to 18GHz and 16dB from 18 to 20GHz in the down-state. 展开更多

Novel 2×2 torsion-mirror optical switch arrays are fabricated by using the mixed micromachining based on the surface and bulk silicon microelectronics,then are investigated electromechanically in applied direct and alternating electric fields.When the thickness of the elastic torsion beams suspending the aluminum coated polysilicon micro-mirrors of the switches in the arrays is about 1μm,the electrostatic yielding voltages for driving the mirrors to achieve their ON-state are in the range of 270~290V,and the minimum holding voltages for mirrors ON-state are found as 55V or so.Theoretical analysis manifests that the yielding voltage is more sensitive to beam thickness than other design parameters do about the torsion-mirror switch structures.The lifetime can reach 10 8 times.The estimated shortest switching time of the switches at least lasts for less than 2ms.The force analysis on the two kinds of new fiber self-holding structures integrated monolithically in the chip of the optical switch arrays indicates that the structures can feature self-fixing and self-aligning of optical fibers. 展开更多

The problem of the stability for a class of stochastic systems with time-varying interval delay and the norm-bounded uncertainty is investigated. Utilizing the information of both the lower and the upper bounds of the interval time-varying delay, a novel Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional is constructed. The delay-dependent sufficient criteria are derived in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs), which can be easily checked by the LMI in the Matlab toolbox. Based on the Jensen integral inequality, neither model transformations nor bounding techniques for cross terms is employed, so the derived criteria are less conservative than the existing results. Meanwhile, the computational complexity of the obtained stability conditions is reduced because no redundant matrix is introduced. A numerical example is given to show the effectiveness and the benefits of the proposed method. 展开更多

In order to realize the fault diagnosis of the control circuit of all-electronic computer interlocking system(ACIS)for railway signals,taking a five-wire switch electronic control module as an research object,we propose a method of selecting the sample set of the basic classifier by roulette method and realizing fault diagnosis by using SVM-AdaBoost.The experimental results show that the proportion of basic classifier samples affects classification accuracy,which reaches the highest when the proportion is 85%.When selecting the sample set of basic classifier by roulette method,the fault diagnosis accuracy is generally higher than that of the maximum weight priority method.When the optimal proportion 85%is taken,the accuracy is highest up to 96.3%.More importantly,this way can better adapt to the critical data and improve the anti-interference ability of the algorithm,and therefore it provides a basis for fault diagnosis of ACIS. 展开更多

To compensate for the limitations of previous studies,a complex network-based method is developed for determining importance measures,which combines the functional roles of the components of a mechatronic system and their topological positions.First,the dependencies among the components are well-represented and well-calculated.Second,a mechatronic system is modeled as a weighted and directional functional dependency network(FDN),in which the node weights are determined by the functional roles of components in the system and their topological positions in the complex network whereas the edge weights are represented by dependency strengths.Third,given that the PageRank algorithm cannot calculate the dependency strengths among components,an improved PageRank importance measure(IPIM)algorithm is proposed,which combines the node weights and edge weights of complex networks.IPIM also considers the importance of neighboring components.Finally,a case study is conducted to investigate the accuracy of the proposed method.Results show that the method can effectively determine the importance measures of components. 展开更多

To meet the requirements of high performance, low cost, and easy operation of the robot, a brushless motor drive and control system for the robot joint is designed, including CAN bus, WPF upper host computer development, and magnetic encoders, and other sensors, in which the STM32 F103 chip is used as the main control chip, and the DRV8323 is a brushless motor drive chip. The principle of field-oriented control(FOC) brushless motor drive is elaborated.Meanwhile, the drive and control system design is completed from both hardware and software aspects. Finally, the PID algorithm is used for the closed-loop speed test of the robot joint. The experimental result shows that the designed robot joints and control system run smoothly and reliably, have the characteristics of modularization and miniaturization, and are suitable for the control of micro-service robots and manipulators. 展开更多

Switch images based on fusion were presented to get the continuous dynamic image Jacobian matrix among robots and distributed visual sensors. The designed fusion algorithm is suitable to have dynamically adjustable fusion weights, and the fusion structure was analyzed. Simulations and experiments without any knowledge of mobile robots and uncalibrated visual sensors show that the method has higher adaptability than the traditional instant switch control method. New sigma point filtering algorithms, including the unscented Kalman filter (UKF) and the divided difference filter (DDF), are designed to solve the nonlinear filtering problem under the condition of correlated noises. Based on the minimum mean square error estimation theory, the nonlinear optimal predictive and correction recursive formulas under the hypothesis that the input noise is correlated with the measurement noise are derived and can be described in a unified framework. Then, UKF and DDF with correlated noises are proposed on the basis of approximation of the posterior mean and covariance in the unified framework by using unscented transformation and second order Stirling's interpolation. The proposed UKF and DDF with correlated noises break through the limitation that input noise and measurement noise must be assumed to be uneorrelated in standard UKF and DDF. Two simulation examples show the effectiveness and feasibility of new algorithms for dealing with nonlinear filtering issue with correlated noises. 展开更多
