A number of isolated fault sags in Late Jurassic--Early Cretaceous were developed in the early stage of southern Songliao Basin,and unified to a depression basin in the late stage.Therefore,multiple isolated lower petroliferous systems were formed with fault sags as source rocks.The source rocks of fault sags in Late Jurassic--Early Cretaceous were mainly described with gas generation as favorable source rocks,leading to the southern Songliao Basin rich in natural gas resources combined with organic gas resources in Nenjiang Formation.A number of tectonic movements in southern Songliao Basin led to the formation of abundant structural traps and complex fault systems,and controlled the distribution strata and positions of sources rocks in Late Jurassic--Early Cretaceous fault sags.The oil-gas reservoirs can be divided into two types,i.e.,primary and secondary ones.The primary oil-gas reservoirs were distributed in the fault sag strata and the bottom of overlying depression strata(lower Quan-1 Member).The oil-gas reservoir accumulation depended on the trap development situation and the distance from source rocks.The preservation conditions of oil-gas reservoirs depended on the degree of reconstruction in the late tectonism.The secondary oil-gas reservoirs were distribution in the Quantou Formation of depression strata,where oil and gas reservoir accumulation depended on three conditions,i.e.,trap development situation,deep gas sources and the fault to connect the shallow traps and deep gas sources.The southern Songliao Basin is rich in lower coal type gas,upper oil-gas and biogas resources,which are important resources in the future. 展开更多

The general idea of this work is to improve the performance of CAES (compressed air energy storage) for its application in solar and wind systems through a restitution technique by creating an artificial wind. The efficiency of compressed air storage is often presented as a limit to its application. The present work describes a series of manipulations carried out in order to increase the yield. As the action of the artificial wind on the wind turbine is characterized by a reduced attack surface, a treated wind, a constant direction, an adjustable speed, it is therefore a question of acting on all the controllable parameters of the artificial wind to find the best way to use it to produce more energy from a certain quantity stored in a tank. The main manipulations consisted in determining: the optimal number of points of attack of the wind turbine; the nature of the action (continuous or interrupted) of the wind; the frequency of wind action and the duty cycle. 展开更多

In order to optimize the electricity yield of CSP (concentrated solar power) plants, TES (thermal energy storage) systems are regarded as an essential component. Furthermore, for many electricity grid operators, it is important to have spinning reserves in the grid and dispatchable power available, both offered by CSP-plants with integrated thermal energy storage. Enolcon is developing a new TES-system since several years. The system itself was designed to offer a principle simple and robust setup (with regard to execution and operation) and which is reducing the electricity costs of CSP-power plants by the consequent use of state of the art technology. Furthermore, such system shall be open to future developments of CSP-systems with regard to increasing steam temperatures and steam pressure. Such TES-system shall be commercially available for large scale application already in year 2014/2015. The key elements of the enolcon-TES are the open cycle using always ambient air with an air-air-heat exchanger and the arrangement of the storage material in such way to minimize the pressure losses and the own electricity consumption. The development is progressing in a structured way by studies, engineering works, TES-pilot plants, isothermal air flow test plant for the verification of the CFD-calculations, and since end of 2012 by the operation of a high temperature TES-module with all features of the large scale modules. 展开更多

In general, the energy storage in facilities to intermittent sources is provided by a battery of accumulators. Having found that the duration of life of chemical accumulators is strongly shortened in the northern regions of Cameroon and that this has a considerable impact on the operating costs and the reliability of power plants to intermittent sources, this work proposes to find an alternative to these chemical accumulators rendered vulnerable by the high temperatures. It reviews all energy storage techniques and makes a choice (the CAES (compressed air energy storage)) based on thermal robustness. It proposes a new technique of restitution of the energy by producing an artificial wind from the compressed air. The feedback loop thus obtained by the compressor-tank-wind subsystem is studied from a series of manipulations and its efficiency is determined. To automate the operation of this system, a controller is required. The operating logic of the controller is provided in function of the precise states of the load, the tank and the natural sources. 展开更多

The financial viability of a solar STES (seasonal thermal energy store) installed in a mixed commercial and residential multiunit development of low-energy buildings located in Lysekil, Sweden, a maritime Scandinavian Climate has been investigated. Using recorded figures for the installation costs and performance, a financial life cycle analysis has been undertaken to determine the cost effectiveness of the system. The time value of money is considered and an LCC (life cycle cost) analysis undertaken to identify the cost-effectiveness of the solution. It shows that while a direct heating and hot water system incorporating STES can be economically viable in a Swedish maritime climate in the long term, assistance such as that provided by government incentives is required to assist with the high capital cost of the initial investment. 展开更多

Risk Assessment of Carbon Sequestration for Terrestrial Ecosystems in China

Climate change will alter the capacity of carbon sequestration,and the risk assessment of carbon sequestration for terrestrial ecosystems will be helpful to the decision-making for climate change countermeasures and international climate negotiations.Based on the net ecosystem productivity of terrestrial ecosystems simulated by Atmosphere Vegetation Integrated Model,each grid of the risk criterion was set by time series trend analysis.Then the risks of carbon sequestration of terrestrial ecosystems were investigated.The results show that,in the IPCCSRES-B2 climate scenario,climate change will bring risks of carbon sequestration,and the high-risk level will dominate terrestrial ecosystems.The risk would expand with the increase of warming degree.By the end of the long-term of this century,about 60% of the whole country will face the risk;Northwest China,mountainous areas in Northeast China,middle and lower reaches plain of Yangtze River areas,Southwest China and Southeast China tend to be extremely vulnerable.Risk levels in most regions are likely to grow with the increase of warming degree,and this increase will mainly occur during the near-term to mid-term.Northwest China will become an area of high risks,and deciduous coniferous forests,temperate mixed forests and desert grassland tend to be extremely vulnerable. 展开更多
