Linear correlations of formation enthalpies/bulk modules and atomic volumes observed in Pt-Zr compounds by ab initio calculation 被引量:2

Then the related physical properties, such as structural stability, lattice constants, formation enthalpies, elastic constants and bulk moduli, are obtained by ab initio calculations. Based on the calculated results of formation enthalpies, the ground-state convex hull is derived for the Pt-Zr system. The calculated physical data would provide a basis for further thermodynamic calculations and atomistic simulations. For these Pt-Zr compounds, it is found there are a positive linear correlation between the formation enthalpies and atomic volumes, and a negative linear correlation between the bulk modules and atomic volumes. 展开更多

As such, making an accurate diagnosis is important. At present, stereotactic-guided biopsy is a recognized method of choice for tissue analysis. However, the diagnostic work-up for high-risk patients is determined by their performance status. Here,we report a case of PCNSL in a high-risk patient, for whom diagnosis was established by cerebrospinal fluid cytology and flow cytometry, which significantly shortened a diagnostic work-up period and allowed for the immediate treatment of the patient. 展开更多

Classical management accounting (MA) Focusing on the facilitating perspective, focuses on decision facilitating and influencing (Demski & Feltham, 1976). MA has to provide information to managers and depending on the problem complexity, they have to solve problems in a dyadic way. A dual process model, the heuristic systematic model (HSM), expands this so-called manager-accountant-dyad and shows different cases of actual human information processing. Managers and accountants either process systematically or heuristically. So far, many concepts have been designed in relation to the normative concept of the economical rational principle. Consequently, recent research only uses systematic information processing, based on the principle of the economic man. In this paper, a decision-behavior oriented approach tries to describe actual decision makers such as managers and accountants and shows new possibilities within MA. Therefore, the potential of heuristic information processing is analyzed, based on the phenomenon of ecological rationality as one shape of bounded rationality. Thus, different cognitive heuristics in business economics are identified and analyzed. Furthermore, the outstanding performance of heuristics compared with more complex calculations is shown. Unfortunately, these findings have been limited to marketing and investments so far. Significant research is needed, regarding conditions for applications and success factors of heuristics in business economics. New empirical findings have to be explicitly transferred to MA. 展开更多

The numerical simulation results confirm that the stable rotating spiral wave is removed and the whole media becomes homogeneous when appropriate intensity of feedback is used no matter whether the coupling feedback is imposed on the whole media or the sites in one line in the media. 展开更多

This paper studies the problem of partially observed optimal control for forward-backward stochastic systems which are driven both by Brownian motions and an independent Poisson random measure. Combining forward-backward stochastic differential equation theory with certain classical convex variational techniques, the necessary maximum principle is proved for the partially observed optimal control, where the control domain is a nonempty convex set. Under certain convexity assumptions, the author also gives the sufficient conditions of an optimal control for the aforementioned optimal optimal problem. To illustrate the theoretical result, the author also works out an example of partial information linear-quadratic optimal control, and finds an explicit expression of the corresponding optimal control by applying the necessary and sufficient maximum principle. 展开更多

Two Poisson brackets for the N-component coupled nonlinear Schrdinger(NLS) equation are derived by using the variantional principle. The first one is called the equal-time Poisson bracket which does not depend on time but only on the space variable. Actually it is just the usual one describing the time evolution of system in the traditional theory of integrable Hamiltonian systems. The second one is equal-space and new. It is shown that the spatial part of Lax pair with respect to the equal-time Poisson bracket and temporal part of Lax pair with respect to the equal-space Poisson bracket share the same r-matrix formulation.
