Therefore, applications on workstation may use tagname to access different data in system. Normally tag table generated by configuration software will transfer to other workstation in system manually after system configuration, which is inconvenient and failible. The development of peer-to-peer (P2P) network technology and the realization of control system based on P2P network make the auto distn'bution of tag table possible. In this paper based on file sharing technology the presented method realizes the auto distn'bution of tag table.展开更多

The SICS provides sufficient control and monitoring means to bring and maintain the plant in a safe state as a backup of main computerized control mean (MCM), in any plant conditions that are probable during a planed or unplanned unavailability of the MCM. The successful engineering applications of SICS in different digital I&C system platform are introduced in the paper. Such control systems are used in different branches of industry and infrastructure inclu...This article describes the development of automatic control system on the basis of Festo "Compact Workstation" training stand. Such control systems are used in different branches of industry and infrastructure including oil industry, chemical industry, water treatment, canalization and others. The stand allows realizing level, flow, pressure and temperature control systems, using pump, valves, discrete and analog sensors. Level control system is described in this work. PID (proportional integral derivative) controllers are used in these systems. Control is switched on and off and the parameters of control systems are changed by means of SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) system. During real technological processes, these actions are performed by the operator. The algorithm of the control system is realized using PLC (programmable logic controller). At the end of the article conclusions about the research are drawn.展开更多
This paper presents an overview of the AMS thermal control system and its thermal environment on the ISS.We give examples of analysis and correlation of space environmental impacting on the thermal control system of A...This paper presents an overview of the AMS thermal control system and its thermal environment on the ISS.We give examples of analysis and correlation of space environmental impacting on the thermal control system of AMS.The most critical factors that affect the thermal environment to AMS are beta angle,attitude of ISS,ISS solar array and ISS radiator positions.The design of a special sandwich structure with embedded heat pipes provides the radiator with higher heat transfer ability for electronics and power crates,and it provides a large heat retaining capacity to balance the frequent changes of the space environment temperatures as well.In cold cases,the thermostatically controlled heaters are working actively to protect AMS.However,sometimes,because of ISS special operations plus extreme beta angle condition,AMS needs to request NASA to adjust the ISS configuration for thermal control.The AMS thermal control system is reliable and stable,which has been verified by its operation on the ISS for more than three years.All the detectors operate normally,the electronics and crates work within their specific temperature limits.展开更多
