Based on the inverse system method, the d-axis and q-axis current dynamics of the SHAPF system were decoupled and linearized into two pseudolinear subsystems. Then, an optimal feedback controUer was designed for the pseudolinear system, and the stability condition of the resulting zero dynamics was presented. Under the control strategy, the current dynamics can asymptotically converge to their reference states and the zero dynamics can be bounded. Simulation results show that the proposed control strategy is robust against load variations and system parameter mismatches, its steady-state performance is better than that of the traditional linear control strategy.展开更多

The Fokker-Planek equation of the system is derived by the phase-locking method. The steady-state probability distribution, the mean light intensity, the normalization autocorrelation function, and cross correlation function are calculated. The results indicate that: (i) The cross-correlation between the real and imaginary parts of quantum noise can cause the stationary probability distribution from one peak structure to two extrema structure when the laser system is operated above threshold; (ii) The cross-correlation between the real and imaginary parts of quantum noise enhance the light intensity fluctuation and decrease the laser output when the laser system is operated below or near threshold; (iii) The effect of the cross-correlation between the real and imaginary parts of quantum noise is very weak on the stationary properties when the laser system is operated far above threshold.展开更多

A typically developing thermokarst lake was chosen as a subject for a study using model simulation based on observations of soil physical properties, infiltration processes, and soil moisture. The results showed that the selected thermokarst lake imposed certain changes on the soil infiltration processes and, with the degree of impact intensifying, the initial infiltration rate decreased. The greatest reduction was achieved in the area of moderate impact. However, the stable infiltration rate and cumulative infiltration gradually increased in the surface layer at a depth of 10 and 20 cm, both decreasing initially and then increasing, which is correlated significantly with soil textures. Moreover, the cumulative infiltration changed in line with steady infiltration rate. Based on a comparative analysis, the Horton model helps better understand the effect on the soil infiltration processes of the cold alpine meadow close to the chosen thermokarst lake. In conclusion, the formation of the thermokarst lake reduced the water holding capacity of the alpine meadow soil and caused the hydraulic conductivity to increase, resulting in the reduction of runoff capacity in the area of the thermokarst lake.展开更多

Based on the fact that the boundary of practical dynamic security region(PDSR) of a power system with double fed induction generators(DFIG) can be approximated by one or few hyper-planes in nodal power injection space, transient stability criterion for given configurations of pre-fault, fault-on and post-fault of a power system is to be expressed by certain expressions of linear combination of nodal injection vector and the transient stability probability(TSP) is further obtained with a much more simplified expression than the complex integral. Furthermore, considering uncertainties of nodal injection power including wind power and load, TSP is calculated analytically by Cornish-Fisher expansion, which can provide reliable evaluation results with high accuracy and much less computing time compared with Monte Carlo simulation. TSP and its visualization can further help operators and planners be aware of the degree of stability or instability and find critical components to monitor and reinforce. Test results on the New England 10-generators and 39-buses power system show the method's effectiveness and significance for probabilistic security assessment.展开更多

The results show the following facts. (i) For all parameter vaJues, the existence of noise maintains the oscillatory state of the ecosystem, and enough strong noise can destroy the ecosystem, which means the annihilation of the species. (ii) Comparing to oscillation with small amplitude, while the ecosystem oscillates explosively with large amplitude, it is more likely to lose balance. In addition, the small-amplitude oscillation takes on higher level of regularity. All the numerical results are reasonable comparing to the general knowledge about ecosystem.展开更多

It is assumed that the middle predator is acting as a prey as well as a predator and the top predator consumes both prey as well as middle predator. It is also considered that a constant amount of additional food for top predator exists in the ecosystem. The effects of harvesting of top predator are investigated. The existence and stability conditions of the equilibria have been discussed analytically. The Hopf bifurcation analysis of the system with respect to predation rate of prey to the top predator and the harvesting effort have been analyzed both analytically and numerically. Pontryagin's maximum principle is used to determine the optimal harvesting of top predator population to maximize the discounted net revenue. From our analysis, it is seen that the additional food has a significant impact to prevent the extinction risk of top predator population and also to increase revenue collection. Finally, some numerical results have been given in support of our analytical findings.展开更多

文摘This study is concerned with the stabilization issue of nonlinear systems subject to parameter uncertainties. An interval type-2 T-S fuzzy model is used to represent the nonlinear systems subject to parameter uncertainties. An interval type-2 fuzzy static output feedback controller is designed to synthesize the interval type-2 T-S fuzzy systems. The membership-function-dependent stability conditions are derived by utilizing the information of upper and lower membership functions. The proposed stability conditions are presented in the form of linear matrix inequalities(LMIs). LMI-based stability conditions for interval type-2 fuzzy static output feedback H_∞ control synthesis are also developed.Several simulation examples are given to show the superiority of the proposed approach.
