By utilizing and comparing seven phylogenetic diversity (PD) indices, the study shows that the top ifve endemic birds with high conservation priority are Ar-borophila ardens, A. gingica, A. ruifpectus, Lophophorus lhuysii and Alectoris magna respectively. The ranking of species, based on the IUCN Red List and PD indices, were compared by means of a Wilcox signed rank test and Pearson’s correlation, drawing the inference that the PD ranking of endemic birds for China's Mainland shows a distinct and statistically signiifcant difference from the IUCN rank-ing. Therefore, the ranking of conservation priority for endemic birds of China using PD indices might offer new insights on species conservation from an evolutionary-heritage perspective, serving as a complement to the IUCN ranking.展开更多

As to this system, previous decisions have some aftereffects on its future developments, which has fundamentally contradicts the presupposition of programming methodology in Operation Research. In order to solve the problems arising from optimized theory research about the economic system, this paper defines the concept of dynamic system with aftereffects, points out the difference between its aftereffects and those of traditional stochastic processes, studies how the past decision effects on the value of optimal utility function, and gives an example on this base to illustrate its application in exploitation of oilfield.展开更多

In this paper, the authors present an analytical approach through the Structuration Theory: How a university can assess its culture for the purposes of design and development of the ERPs. The authors extend the Structuration Theory by integrating it with the Activity Theory to provide the means of evaluating the activities that the system is to perform. The modified Orlikowski model is applied to depict the relationship between institutional properties, human agents, and technology in the university setup and how this offers a more inclusive approach to ERP systems development and implementation.展开更多

A robot operating system can be viewed as the mechanical energy converter from the joint space to the global operation space, and the fiexibility of the robot system refi ects the global transformation ability of the whole system. Fuzzy control technology is a kind of fuzzy science, artificial intelligence, knowledge engineering and other disciplines interdisciplinary fields, the theory of strong science and technology, to achieve this fuzzy control technology theory, known as the fuzzy control theory. Besides this, this paper integrates the visual navigation system to construct the better robust methodology which is meaningful.展开更多
