The desire to speed up secondary storage systems has lead to the development of redundant arrays of independent disks (RAID) which incorporate redundancy utilizing erasure codes. A 'cluttered ordering' is utilized for designing an effective writing order to a RAID system. Cohen, Colboum and Froncek (2001) gave a cyclic construction of cluttered orderings for the complete graph by utilizing the notion of a 'wrapped p-labelling'. Since wrapped p-labellings as cluttered orderings for the complete graph look such as ladders, they are also called as ladder orderings. Cohen and Colboum (2004) gave a characteristic of ladder orderings. In this paper, we give an algorithm in order to generate ladder orderings. 展开更多

In similar way, by virtue of the technique of integration within an ordered product (IWOP) of operators, the new completeness and orthogonMity relations composed of the bra and ket, which are not mutually Hermitian conjugates are obtained. Furthermore, the property of squeezing operator represented by the q-deformed entangled states is exhibited. The corrective machining to compensate the resulting errors is usually tried at plural times based on the trial-and-error process when the machining is realized in die and mold manufacturing. This corrective machining has an influence on accuracy and efficiency and is an important factor. The measurement system for measuring the forms of die and mold at all times is essential in order to machine the die and mold with high accuracy and efficiency. However, the problems of management and operation errors are found in compensating process of die and mold machining. In this paper, an online machining and measurement system in die and mold manufacturing is developed in order to overcome these problems. In this online system, 2-axis control system is added to a surface roughness measuring instrument, and both NC machining program and measured data are linked and controlled using a same computer. Therefore, the machining and measurement can be recognized for consistent process, and can be realized on the machine. This system has the advantages such as the high accuracy, low-price, and online convenience and so on. The possibility of practical use of this online system was investigated by fundamental experiments. 展开更多

A protocol for quantum dialogue is proposed to exchange directly the communicator's secret messages by using a three-dimensional Bell state and a two-dimensional Bell state as quantum channel with quantum superdence coding, local collective unitary operations, and entanglement swapping. In this protocol, during the process of trans- mission of particles, the transmitted particles do not carry any secret messages and are transmitted only one time. The protocol has higher source capacity than protocols using symmetric two-dimensional states. The security is ensured by the unitary operations randomly performed on all checking groups before the particle sequence is transmitted and the application of entanglement swapping. 展开更多
