Black locust (Robinia pseudoacacia L.) is one of the most important stand-forming tree species in Hungary and its importance is increasing in many countries. Black locust plants are commonly produced by two methods, b...Black locust (Robinia pseudoacacia L.) is one of the most important stand-forming tree species in Hungary and its importance is increasing in many countries. Black locust plants are commonly produced by two methods, by seed and by root cuttings. Tissue culture propagation can be considered as a relatively new method. Growing trees from seed is a relatively sim-ple method for reliably producing seedlings on a large scale under a variety of circumstances. Mechanization of the method is easy and the production cost is relatively low. Propagation from root cuttings and tissue culture are valuable for reproduction of superior individuals or varieties. By applying these methods, superior traits of the selected trees can be preserved in the clones. Recent experiments demonstrated that micropropagated trees could be successfully transplanted into soil, hardened and grown in the field.展开更多

E Methodl The agronomic characters such as growth period, growth rate, pollen fertility, fecundity, reproducibility and fresh grass output of Elymus dahudcus, Hordeum brevisubu/atum and BC1 F3 were comparatively studied. E Result l The growth dynamic of the BC1 F3 lined tended to like that of its parent Hordeum brevisubu/atum; although growing periods of various lines were different, they were close to that of Hordeurn brevisubulatum. There were differences in pollen fertility and seed setting, the pollen fertility rate of YF3-93 was higher than recurrent parent Hordeum brevisubulatum, its seed setting rate in open pollination was also higher. Some lines had low pollen fertility rate and seed setting rate, such as the pollen fertility rate of PF3-52. There were significant differences in the output among BC1 F3 lines, e.g. the heterosis (HP) of YF3-64, YF3-74 and YF3-83 were 75.53%, 75.12% and 66.16%, respectively; however, the yields of PF3- 52, PF3-15 and PF3-42 were lower than their parents. ~ Conclusion] This study provided reference for breeding new varieties of forage which is suitable to drought and saline environment.展开更多
To determine the optimal salinity for growth and first sexual maturity of ExopaIaemon carinicauda, the effects of salinity on growth and reproductive performance of early juvenile prawns of E. carinicauda were evaluat...To determine the optimal salinity for growth and first sexual maturity of ExopaIaemon carinicauda, the effects of salinity on growth and reproductive performance of early juvenile prawns of E. carinicauda were evaluated under laboratory conditions. Postlarvae from the same female broodstock were reared at six salinity levels (5, 10, 15, 20, 25, and 30) for 12 weeks. The specific growth rate (SGR) and survival rate (SR) under different salinity levels in the first 6 weeks were calculated and compared. SGR was significantly influenced by salinity. Prawns reared in salinity of 10 grew significantly faster (P〈0.05) than those reared in salinities of 5, 20, 25, and 30. However, ANOVA confirmed that there was no significant effect among the six salinity levels on SR. For the next 6 weeks, the body length (BL), body weight (BW) at the first sexual maturity, and the age at median sexual maturity (As0) of females were measured and compared. Female prawns reared at salinity of 10 presented significantly shorter A50, but no significant differences among the six salinity levels for BL and BW at the first sexual maturity were observed. Based on the above information, the optimal salinity for growth and first sexual maturity of juvenile E. carinicauda is approximately 10.展开更多

However, different from the soil slope failure caused by softening action of infiltration rainwater, the mechanism of rock landslide in rainfall is not clear. From the view of fracture mechanics, the propagation of cracks on rock slope and the development of sliding surface were researched. Then based on hydraulics formulas and using Sweden arc method, the influence of crack water on stability of rock slope was quantitatively studied. Finally, an example was given to check the theoretical approach. The result shows that the development of sliding surface of rock slope is mainly caused by crack propagation under hydrostatic pressure when the stress intensity factor KI at crack tip is bigger than the toughness index of rock fractures Klc, and the failure of slope is the result of hydraulic action of crack water and the softening of materials on sliding surface when the depth of crack water is bigger than a minimum value hmin.展开更多

Since it is a cross-pollinated plant with a wide range of genetic variability, an investigation was carried out ...Christ's thorn (Ziziphus spina-christi L. Desf.) is ecologically and economically important in Iran. Since it is a cross-pollinated plant with a wide range of genetic variability, an investigation was carried out to determine the best method for mass and clonal propagation. Three vegetative methods were examined, including 1) cutting, where shoots with a 22-25 cm length and three shoot diameters were treated with two culture media; 2) layering, where air layering and trench layering treatments consisted of three growth regulators at three levels of concentration; and 3) tissue culture with nodal segments bearing axillary buds that were removed from shoots of mature trees at different seasons. Several experiments were carried out to determine the best disinfectant chemical, the best culture method, the best season, the appropriate explant characteristics and media type. Rooting was successful only on the sandy beds for cuttings with more than (S.O mm diameter. For the trench layering method, only one specimen in one replicate rooted a very small root, while for the air layering method, only seedlings with growth regulator treatments rooted successfully. The best season for explant harvesting was determined as mid summer, and among the disinfecting treatments, Ca(OCI)2 at a concentration of 0 5 g kg-1 for 20 minutes was the best. There were no significant differences for shoot weight and length with a Murashige and Skoog (MS) medium with and without a hormone.展开更多
A technique for modelling of three-dimensional(3D)quasi-statically propagating cracks in elastic bodies by the displacement discontinuity method(DDM)was described.When the crack is closed,the Mohr-coulomb rule on the ...A technique for modelling of three-dimensional(3D)quasi-statically propagating cracks in elastic bodies by the displacement discontinuity method(DDM)was described.When the crack is closed,the Mohr-coulomb rule on the two contacted surfaces of the crack must be satisfied.A simple iterative method was adopted in order to consider three different states of cracks.Under the assumption that the advance of the point on the crack front would occur only in the normal plane which is through this edge point,the maximum energy release rate criterion is modified to be used as the criterion for the crack growth.With discretization,the process of crack propagation can be seen as the advance of the vertices of the crack front.The program MCP3D was developed based on these theories to simulate the 3D quasi-static crack propagation.A numerical example of a penny-shaped crack subject to tension and compression in an infinite elastic media was analyzed with MCP3D,and the results in comparison with others' show that the present method for 3D crack propagation is effective.展开更多

Although proper design of arresters by the numerical simulation method is promising, its...Crimped ribbon flame arresters are important safety devices in the chemical industry, especially for the danger- ous situations. Although proper design of arresters by the numerical simulation method is promising, its reliabil- ity and accuracy are dependent upon the mathematical model. In this work, an integrated mathematical model for the microchannel in the crimped ribbon flame attesters was set up; the fluid flow behavior and the sensitiv- ities of four chemical kinetics mechanisms of propane-air on the accuracy were analysed. It is shown that turbu- lence is predominant in the microchannel of the crimped ribbon flame arresters under the defiagration and detonation conditions, and a new quenching criterion for the numerical simulation is proposed. The kinetics mechanism of Mansouri et al. among the four ones is the most accurate due to the best agreement of the pre- dicted outlet temperature at the experimental flameproof velocity with the autoignition temperature of propane-air. The species mass fraction profiles and the temperature distribution, which are too difficult to mea- sure due to the tiny dimension of the microchannel in experiments, are captured. The fundamental insights into chemical reactions and heat loss are well portrayed. It can be concluded that the integrated mathematical model established in this work can be used as a reliable tool for modeling, selecting and designing such type of crimped ribbon flame attesters with the propane-air medium in the future.展开更多

The results showed,using this method,that proliferation rate of ROC16 improved by 40 times,per flask generated about 800 plantlets; of ROC22 improved by 30 times,per flask generated about 400-600 plantlets. A study was conducted to determine the effects of dietary digestible amino acids of feedstuffs and true metabolizable energy corrected for nitrogen on broiler breeder performance in 50 weeks to 64 weeks of age. 140 fe...A study was conducted to determine the effects of dietary digestible amino acids of feedstuffs and true metabolizable energy corrected for nitrogen on broiler breeder performance in 50 weeks to 64 weeks of age. 140 females and 20 males broiler breeders in 4 treatments with 5 replicates (7 females with a male) were used in the form of a completely randomized trial design 2 ~ 2 factorial. Four experimental diets were formulation based on two factors, first factor was included, two types of Apparent and True Metabolizable Energy corrected for Nitrogen (AMEn and TMEn) and the second factor was included, two types of Total Amino Acids (TAA) and Digestible (DAA) of feedstuffs. The result showed that egg weight, egg production (%) and egg mass (g/hen/day) was significantly different which was affected by diets formulation based on energy and interaction between energy and amino acids (P 〈 0.01). Treatment 2 (AMEn + DAA) was at the highest level significantly different (P 〈 0.01) in egg weight 68.97 g, egg production 62.45%, and egg mass 43. i g/hen/day. Hatching eggs were significantly different which was affected by diet formulation based on amino acids. Fertility, hatchability and number of chicks per hen were significant different, that were affected by diet formulation based on energy (P 〈 0.05). Interaction between two factors, were significantly different in two reproductive traits fertility and hatchability (P 〈 0.05). This experiment showed that diet formulation based on AMEn and DAA for broiler breeder was better and significant on performance.展开更多

By the bilinear method, we construct the breather solutions for the extended (1+1),(2+1) and(3+1)-dimensional N-CHNLSE. The rogue waves are derived as a limiting form of breathers with the aid of symbolic computation. The effect of group velocity dispersion (GVD), third-order dispersion (TOD) and nonlinearity on breathers and rogue waves solutions are discussed in the optical communication systems.展开更多

In the proposed method, we employ a support vector machine(SVM) based method to refine the discovered emerging ~equent patterns for classification rule extension for class label prediction. The empirical study shows that our method can be used to classify increasing resources efficiently and effectively.

文摘By employing temporary immersion bioreactor system(TIBs),we studied virus-free culture of seedlings from sugarcane varieties ROC16 and ROC22,from medium recipe,inoculation amount,sucrose concentration,and variety difference. The results showed,using this method,that proliferation rate of ROC16 improved by 40 times,per flask generated about 800 plantlets; of ROC22 improved by 30 times,per flask generated about 400-600 plantlets. The results provided basis for using TIBs in rapid propagation of plantlets via tissue culture.
文摘A study was conducted to determine the effects of dietary digestible amino acids of feedstuffs and true metabolizable energy corrected for nitrogen on broiler breeder performance in 50 weeks to 64 weeks of age. 140 females and 20 males broiler breeders in 4 treatments with 5 replicates (7 females with a male) were used in the form of a completely randomized trial design 2 ~ 2 factorial. Four experimental diets were formulation based on two factors, first factor was included, two types of Apparent and True Metabolizable Energy corrected for Nitrogen (AMEn and TMEn) and the second factor was included, two types of Total Amino Acids (TAA) and Digestible (DAA) of feedstuffs. The result showed that egg weight, egg production (%) and egg mass (g/hen/day) was significantly different which was affected by diets formulation based on energy and interaction between energy and amino acids (P 〈 0.01). Treatment 2 (AMEn + DAA) was at the highest level significantly different (P 〈 0.01) in egg weight 68.97 g, egg production 62.45%, and egg mass 43. i g/hen/day. Hatching eggs were significantly different which was affected by diet formulation based on amino acids. Fertility, hatchability and number of chicks per hen were significant different, that were affected by diet formulation based on energy (P 〈 0.05). Interaction between two factors, were significantly different in two reproductive traits fertility and hatchability (P 〈 0.05). This experiment showed that diet formulation based on AMEn and DAA for broiler breeder was better and significant on performance.

文摘In this paper, an extended multi-dimensional N-coupled higher-order nonlinear Schr¨odinger equation (NCHNLSE), which can describe the propagation of the ultrashort pulses in wavelength division multiplexing (WDM)systems, is investigated. By the bilinear method, we construct the breather solutions for the extended (1+1),(2+1) and(3+1)-dimensional N-CHNLSE. The rogue waves are derived as a limiting form of breathers with the aid of symbolic computation. The effect of group velocity dispersion (GVD), third-order dispersion (TOD) and nonlinearity on breathers and rogue waves solutions are discussed in the optical communication systems.
