By using time series multivariable linear regression methods with China's relevant data from 1953 to 2006, this paper constructs the regression model to analyze the factors that would impact energy, efficiency. After that, a regression model of China's real output to capital, labor and energy e lficiency is conducted to estimate the marginal contribution of every factor to the real output to prove the fundamental influence of energy efficiency to the economic growth. There are also other challenges such as: low overall level of industry development; not having yet established a complete biomass energy industry system; high production costs; weak market competition; lack of investment in research and technology; low level of market admittance threshold; and disorder of industry development. Therefore, proposed policies aimed at promoting the healthy and rapid development of the biomass energy industry are as follows: improving the policy and regulatory system to enable the biomass energy industry to develop; greater evaluation of biomass energy material resources; accelerating the development of biomass energy conversion and use technologies; establishing the demonstration bases of biomass energy industry.展开更多
As important suppliers of energy resources, mining areas have made huge contributions to China’s socio-economic development. However, some factors are inhibiting the further development of mining areas and, thereby p...As important suppliers of energy resources, mining areas have made huge contributions to China’s socio-economic development. However, some factors are inhibiting the further development of mining areas and, thereby pose a threat to social stability, as wel as resource and energy security in the country. In 2012, the National Development and Reform Commission formulated a project aiming to support the sustainable development of mining areas. This study collected and compiled the project’s first-hand survey data from 128 mining areas across China and comprehensively investigated the current development status of the country’s mining areas. The problems facing the development of China’s mining areas are analyzed, and four speciifc suggestions are provided, namely:promote industry transformation, remove institutional constraints, improve people’s livelihoods to maintain the stability of mining areas, and protect the environment to provide a clean, healthy living environment for mining area residents. This paper provides the ifrst comprehensive and systematic picture of China’s mining areas and highlights the importance of mining areas for the country’s economic and social development.展开更多

The state space for robot system is constructed according to the task requirement and system characteristic. Reachable state of the system is figured out by the system’s internal and external constraints. Task plan and coordination are then transformed as trajectory solving problem in the state space, by which the realizable conditions for the given task are discussed. If the task is realizable, the optimal strategy for task execution could be investigated and obtained in state space. Otherwise, it could be transformed to be realizable via adjusting the system configuration and/or task constraint, and the transformation condition could also be determined. This contributes to design, plan, and coordination of the robotic tasks. Experiments of the manipulator path planning and multi-robot formation movement are conducted to show the validity and generalization of the proposed method.展开更多
In this paper,we use 1D rotating objects to calibrate camera.The calibration object has three collinear points.It is not necessary for the object to rotate around one of its endpoints as before;instead,it rotates arou...In this paper,we use 1D rotating objects to calibrate camera.The calibration object has three collinear points.It is not necessary for the object to rotate around one of its endpoints as before;instead,it rotates around the middle point in a plane.In this instance,we can use two calibration constraints to compute the intrinsic parameters of a camera.In addition,when the 1D object moves in a plane randomly,the proposed technique remains valid to compute the intrinsic parameters of a camera.Experiments with simulated data as well as with real images show that our technique is accurate and robust.展开更多
