The present work examined the anisotropy magnitudes obtained from different elastic models of cubic metals(Cu,5383 Al alloy,FCC austenite steel and BCC steel)to explore the origin of strain anisotropy.The results show...The present work examined the anisotropy magnitudes obtained from different elastic models of cubic metals(Cu,5383 Al alloy,FCC austenite steel and BCC steel)to explore the origin of strain anisotropy.The results showed that stable intersections were observed from the modeled and experimental plots of the reciprocal elastic modulus(1/Ehkl)and orientation parameter(Γ).The effectiveness of quasi elasto-plastic model based method in correcting strain anisotropy was further verified in cold-worked specimens.For the important input parameters in dislocation model based diffraction line profile analysis methods,the average diffraction contrast factors(■)of dislocations were observed to depend on elastic constants.Interesting intersections were found from linear dependence of■onΓ.The conventional input■values indicated distinct dependencies on given elastic constants in diffraction line profile analysis.Accordingly,a refined approach was proposed by adopting the optimized intersections as input values,by which more reliable results could be obtained in practical applications.展开更多

The F-box protein CORONATINE INSENSITIVE 1 (COIl) perceives JA signals to mediate diverse plant responses including male fertility, root growth, antho- cyanin accumulation, and defense against abiotic and biotic stresses. In this study, we carried out genetic, physiological and biochemical analysis on a series of coil mutant alleles, and found that different amino acid mutations in COIl distinctively af- fect JA-regulated male fertility in Arabidopsis. All the JA responses are disrupted by the COIl mutations W467" in coil-l, Q343" (coil-6), G369E (coil-4), G98D (coil-5), G155E (coil-7), D452A (coil-9) and L490A (coil-10), though the coil-5 mutant (COIlG98D) contains adequate COIl protein (~60% of wild-type). Interestingly, the low basal level of COIlE543K in the coil-8 mutant (-10% of wild-type COIl level) is sufficient for maintaining male fertility (-50% of wild-type fertility); the coil-2 mutant with low level of COIlLz45F (-10% of wild-type) is male sterile under normal growth condition (22℃) but male fertile (~80% of wild-type fertility) at low temperature (16℃); however, both coil-2 and coil-8 are defective in the other JA responses (root growth, anthocyanin accumulation, and plant response to the pathogen Pst DC3000 infection).展开更多

Slender chiral filaments are ubiquitous in both artificial and biological materials.Due to their chiral microstructures,chiral filaments usually exhibit favorable properties such as superior elasticity and unusual str...Slender chiral filaments are ubiquitous in both artificial and biological materials.Due to their chiral microstructures,chiral filaments usually exhibit favorable properties such as superior elasticity and unusual stretch-twist coupling deformation.However,how these chiral microstructures affect the elastic behavior of filaments remains unclear.In this paper,a refined Cosserat rod model with misfit or mismatching of chirality induced by inhomogeneous arrangement of chiral microstructures incorporated is developed.Using the refined rod model,the force-displacement relationships and variation of structural chirality during the tensile processes of two typical helical structures,i.e.,single-strand helix and double-strand helix,are investigated.The results show that the misfit of chirality can lead to a bend-twist deformation with a high coupling degree,which makes the rod much“soft”when stretched.The chiral filaments undergo an unusual twist when stretched,corresponding to an obviously nonlinear variation of structural chirality.The work suggests that the misfit of chirality can be used to tune the elastic behavior of chiral filaments,which is helpful in guiding the design of flexible actuators and soft devices.展开更多

Method: The thermaCATMT P30 infrared thermal imaging system was selected to measure the infrared radiation temperature on body surface of eight points in four meridians in 74 patients with hyperplasia of mammary glands and 63 healthy people. Results: The infrared radiation temperatures on body surface of right Youmen (KI 21) in cases with hyperplasia of mammary glands were significantly higher than the healthy people (P=-0.009), and the infrared radiation temperatures on left Youmen (KI 21) and other points had no significant difference with healthy people (P〉0.05). Conclusion: The infrared radiation temperatures on body surface of right Youmen (KI 21) have significant differences with healthy people. This might occur because of the pathogenesis of hyperplasia of mammary glands and of the specificity of the point Youmen (KI 21).展开更多
