Theoretical analyses and the simulation results indi-cated that the linear range of optimized edge fdter demodulator's covers the whole transition region of the edge filter, while a strict linearity of the optical filter is not necessary.展开更多

The m...This paper proposes a parameter determination method of distribution voltage regulators load ratio control transformers (LRT) and step voltage regulators (SVR) considering the tap change and voltage profile. The method takes two procedures in order to simplify the optimization problem and to reduce calculation time. One is to simultaneously determine the control parameters of LRT and SVR minimizing voltage violations and voltage variations. The algorithm is based on particle swarm optimization (PSO), which is one of non-linear optimization methods by using a concept of swarm intelligence. Another is to determine the dead-band width of LRT and SVR on the basis of bi-evaluation of tap change and voltage margin. The concept of a Pareto optimal solution is used for the decision of the best dead-band width. As the results of numerical simulations using distribution network model, the validity of the proposed method has been affirmed.展开更多

The en...This paper proposes a dwindling filter line search algorithm for nonlinear equality constrained optimization. A dwindling filter, which is a modification of the traditional filter, is employed in the algorithm. The envelope of the dwindling filter becomes thinner and thinner as the step size approaches zero. This new algorithm has more flexibility for the acceptance of the trial step and requires less computational costs compared with traditional filter algorithm. The global and local convergence of the proposed algorithm are given under some reasonable conditions. The numerical experiments are reported to show the effectiveness of the dwindling filter algorithm.展开更多
文摘时间相关偏微分方程隐式离散后,通常需要求解一个稀疏线性代数方程组序列.利用序列中相邻方程组性质的差异性与相似性,自适应地选取预条件子,提升方程组序列的并行求解效率,从而缩短总体求解时间,是一个值得研究的问题.本文针对科学与工程计算中广泛使用的代数多重网格(AMG)预条件子,设计了方程组序列相关的自适应预条件策略.通过惯性约束聚变(ICF)的辐射流体力学数值模拟典型应用,验证了该策略的有效性.测试结果表明,在某高性能计算机的3125个CPU核上,自适应预条件策略可将并行效率从47%提升到61%,将模拟总时间从19.7 h降为14.5 h.
