However, under some conditions, individual’s JOL and memory performance might be inconsistent based on some cues, and the researchers referred to this phenomenon as metacognitive illusion. The paper analyzed and summarized the types and causes of metacognitive illusions in judgment of learning. On this basis, we pointed out that future research should further consider the following issues: (1) Discuss the relationship between judgment of learning and memory performance under the conditions of clues;(2) Explore the mechanism of metacognitive illusions;(3) Explore the effective conditions of reducing the metacognitive illusions.展开更多
