A two-component waterborne polyurethane(2K-WPU) was prepared by mixing water-soluble acrylic resin and hexamethylene diisocyanate biuret, and then diluted for phase inversion with water. Compared with water-soluble ac...A two-component waterborne polyurethane(2K-WPU) was prepared by mixing water-soluble acrylic resin and hexamethylene diisocyanate biuret, and then diluted for phase inversion with water. Compared with water-soluble acrylic resin, the phase inversion of 2K-WPU occurs at lower water content. It is indicated by TEM that 2K-WPU parti-cles show a core-shell structure, in which HDI biuret is encapsulated by hydrophilic acrylic resin. 2K-WPU emulsion with HDI biuret has larger particle size and narrower distribution index, while for 2K-WPU emulsion with HDI iso-cyanurate, the latex not only has large particle size, but also has two-peak distribution. FTIR shows that the reaction be-tween HDI biuret and acrylic resin can complete in 12h. In addition, studies on effect of composition of acrylic resin on performance of 2K-WPU show that narrowing the polar difference between water-soluble acrylic resin and HDI biuret and improving the miscibility of two components are the key to prepare the transparent and high gloss films with high crosslinking density.展开更多
The relation between narratives and agency can be sometimes considered as mutually constitutive. There are cases in which telling a story expresses higher degrees of agency, and respectively, agency is shaped as a nar...The relation between narratives and agency can be sometimes considered as mutually constitutive. There are cases in which telling a story expresses higher degrees of agency, and respectively, agency is shaped as a narrative that expresses the agent＇s reasons. From henceforth, I will contend that a narrative theory, beyond the personal identity problem, can also enlighten how the agent attains giving reasons for the action by making sense of sequences of events. In order to explain how agency is constituted from understanding and control, we must assume a primitive competence for narratives. Agency supposes an ordering that cannot be reduced to temporality, but expresses a certain sense of accomplishment that can be narratively constituted. In this context, I will examine Welleman＇s theory of emotions as an ordering framework of the events in structures of means-ends. A possible objection to his explanation of the agential narratives is that emotions themselves need to be understood as narrative processes. I suggest then that an enactivist approach would be a way of explaining the narrative constitution of agency. One virtue of this approach is that it harmonizes the biological and cultural components of the agency from the most basic layers to the ordinary folk-psychological narratives.展开更多
The goal of the study was the development of a system to monitor the members of supervisory and management boards. The system currently covers 8,454 joint stock companies registered in Poland. The main purpose of the ...The goal of the study was the development of a system to monitor the members of supervisory and management boards. The system currently covers 8,454 joint stock companies registered in Poland. The main purpose of the system is to monitor every change in the composition of every board of every joint stock company, from March 2001 up to the present, and it is updated every month. This system, however, also enables us to confirm some of the theories from the field of corporate governance. A generation change has been identified in the boards of the joint stock companies which were examined. Women constitute a large, and continuously increasing, section of the board members. The number of family companies, and of family involvement in boards, is still increasing. Board members of financial institutions （and not just of banks） possess significantly more directorates than board members of non-financial institutions. The number of interlocking directorates is positively linked to the macroeconomic development indicator of the total investment as percentage of GDP for Poland.展开更多
