Based on people-oriented principle, this design utilized Chinese 'Fu' (blessings) culture to express people’s eager for a better life and the atmosphere of good fortune. It also produced the image of ecological environment by designing water landscapes and plant landscapes, created active space like squares for activity and active water system and developed the characteristics of residential districts by designing landscape sketches and plant landscapes.展开更多

Such pressures require effective leadership to lead, change, and improve enterprise perform...Entrepreneurs are facing pressures related to sustainability, quality assurance, and the ability to meet client expectations. Such pressures require effective leadership to lead, change, and improve enterprise performance in order to meet the demand for current and future business. Many of the new changes that are occurring in business today are transformational. They are driven by the environment and client need. The entrepreneur may not know the exact outcome at first, because it emerges throughout the process. It requires a fundamental change in their mindset and organizational culture, and requires continual course corrections to the change process. This research was conducted to help the aspiring entrepreneurs to develop and improve their leadership style. One hundred and fifty successful Bicolano entrepreneurs were surveyed and interviewed about their actual leadership styles and practices and this was the basis for developing a leadership program for aspiring or future entrepreneurs. Transformational leadership was the leadership style fairly often use of the successful entrepreneurs and this is characterized as being optimist about future of their business, enthusiastic about what needs to be accomplished, articulate a compelling vision of the future and expresses confidence that goals will be achieved.展开更多
Nanotwinned diamond（nt-diamond）,which demonstrates unprecedented hardness and stability,is synthesized through the martensitic transformation of onion carbons at high pressure and high temperature（HPHT）.Its hardne...Nanotwinned diamond（nt-diamond）,which demonstrates unprecedented hardness and stability,is synthesized through the martensitic transformation of onion carbons at high pressure and high temperature（HPHT）.Its hardness and stability increase with decreasing twin thickness at the nanoscale.However,the formation mechanism of nanotwinning substructures within diamond nanograins is not well established.Here,we characterize the nanotwins in nt-diamonds synthesized under different HPHT conditions.Our observation shows that the nanotwin thickness reaches a minimum at ~20 GPa,below which phase-transformation twins and deformation twins coexist.Then,we use the density-functional-based tight-binding method and kinetic dislocation theory to investigate the subsequent plastic deformation mechanism in these pre-existing phase-transformation diamond twins.Our results suggest that pressure-dependent conversion of the plastic deformation mechanism occurs at a critical synthetic pressure for nt-diamond,which explains the existence of the minimum twin thickness.Our findings provide guidance on optimizing the synthetic conditions for fabricating nt-diamond with higher hardness and stability.展开更多
