本文针对基于重复共轭对称结构前导的OFDM系统,提出了一种新的符号细同步算法。新提出的算法基于延迟相关、延迟相乘和对称相关,设计出定时度量1和定时度量2,在利用定时度量2搜索出其峰值位置的基础上,利用定时度量1确定出多径信道中的... 本文针对基于重复共轭对称结构前导的OFDM系统,提出了一种新的符号细同步算法。新提出的算法基于延迟相关、延迟相乘和对称相关,设计出定时度量1和定时度量2,在利用定时度量2搜索出其峰值位置的基础上,利用定时度量1确定出多径信道中的第一径。和传统的基于重复共轭对称结构前导的定时方法相比,新提出的算法在具有较低计算量的同时,消除了传统方法中的定时模糊问题,并有效减小了多径信道条件下的定时位置偏移。在6径典型市区信道条件下的仿真结果表明,新提出的同步方法可获得准确的符号同步性能。该方法适用于连续和突发OFDM系统的同步。 展开更多

AIM:To investigate the incidence of incidental gastrointestinal stromal tumor (GIST) and its etiopathogenesis.METHODS: From January 1, 2000 to December 31, 2007, 13 804 cases of gastrointestinal epithelial malignant tumor (EMT) and 521 cases of pancreatic adenocarcinoma (PAC) were successfully treated with surgery at the Department of General Surgery and the Department of Thoracic Surgery, West China Hospital, Sichuan University, China. The clinical and pathologic data of 311 cases of primary GIST, including 257 cases with clinical GIST and 54 cases of incidental GIST were analyzed.RESULTS: Of the 311 patients, 54 had incidental GIST, accounting for 17.4%. Of these tumors, 27 were found in 1.13% patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC), 22 in 0.53% patients with gastric adenocarcinoma (GAC), 2 in 0.38% patients with PAC, 2 in 0.03% patients with colorectal adenocarcinoma, and 1 in one patient with GAC accompanying ESCC, respectively. Patients with incidental GIST presented symptoms indistinguishable from those with EMT. All incidental GIST lesions were small in size, and the majority had a low mitotic activity while only 1.9% (5/257) of clinical GIST lesions had a high risk.CONCLUSION: Incidental GIST may occur synchronously with other tumors and has a high prevalence in males. Stimulated emission depletion(STED) microscope is one of the most prominent super-resolution bio-imaging instruments, which holds great promise for ultrahigh-resolution imaging of cells. To construct a STED microscope, it is challenging to realize temporal synchronization between the excitation pulses and the depletion pulses. In this study, we present a simple and low-cost method to achieve pulse synchronization by using a condensed fluorescent dye as a depletion indicator. By using this method, almost all the confocal microscopes can be upgraded to a STED system without losing its original functions. After the pulse synchronization,our STED system achieved sub-100-nm resolution for fluorescent nanospheres and single-cell imaging. 展开更多

In this paper, by the help of evolutionary algorithm and using Hindmarsh-Rose (HR) neuron model, we investigate the effect of topology structures on synchronization transition between different states in coupled neuron cells system. First, we build different coupling structure with N cells, and found the effect of synchronized transition contact not only closely with the topology of the system, but also with whether there exist the ring structures in the system. In particular, both the size and the number of rings have greater effects on such transition behavior. Secondly, we introduce synchronization error to qualitative analyze the effect of the topology structure. Phrthermore, by fitting the simulation results, we find that with the increment of the neurons number, there always exist the optimization structures which have the minimum number of connecting edges in the coupling systems. Above results show that the topology structures have a very crucial role on synchronization transition in coupled neuron system. Biological system may gradually acquire such efficient topology structures through the long-term evolution, thus the systems' information process may be optimized by this scheme. 展开更多

Brain-specific loss of a microtubule-binding protein collapsin response mediator protein-2(CRMP2)in the mouse recapitulates many schizophrenia-like behaviors of human patients,possibly resulting from associated developmental deficits in neuronal differentiation,path-finding,and synapse formation.However,it is still unclear how the Crmp2 loss affects neuronal circuit function and plasticity.By conducting in vivo and ex vivo electrophysiological recording in the mouse primary visual cortex(V1),we reveal that CRMP2 exerts a key regulation on the timing of postnatal critical period(CP)for experience-dependent circuit plasticity of sensory cortex.In the developing V1,the Crmp2 deficiency induces not only a delayed maturation of visual tuning functions but also a precocious CP for visual input-induced ocular dominance plasticity and its induction activity–coincident binocular inputs right after eye-opening.Mechanistically,the Crmp2 deficiency accelerates the maturation process of cortical inhibitory transmission and subsequently promotes an early emergence of balanced excitatory-inhibitory cortical circuits during the postnatal development.Moreover,the precocious CP plasticity results in deteriorated binocular depth perception in adulthood.Thus,these findings suggest that the Crmp2 deficiency dysregulates the timing of CP for experience-dependent refinement of circuit connections and further leads to impaired sensory perception in later life. 展开更多

Astrocytes have potential to break synchrony between neurons. Authors' recent researches reveal that astrocytes vary the synchronization threshold and provide an appropriate feedback control in stabilizing neural activities. In this study, we propose an astrocyte-inspired controller for desynchronization of two coupled limit-cycle oscillators as a minimal network model. The design procedure consists of two parts. First, based on the astrocyte model, the structure of the dynamic controller is suggested. Then, to have an emcient controller, parameters of controller are tuned through an optimization algo- rithm. The proposed bio-inspired controller takes advantages of three important proper- ties: (1) the controller desynchronizes the oscillators without any undesirable effects (e.g. stopping, annihilating or starting divergent oscillations); (2) it consumes little effort to preserve the desirable desynchronized state; and (3) the controller is robust with respect to parameters' variations.
