The proposed single-poly MTP ...We propose a single-poly MTP (multi-time programmable) cell consisting of one capacitor and two transistors based on MagnaChip's BCD process. The area of a unit cell is 37.743 75μm^2. The proposed single-poly MTP cell is erased and programmed by the FN tunnelling scheme. We design a 256 bit MTP memory for PMICs (power management ICs) using the proposed single-poly MTP cells. For small-area designs, we propose a selection circuit between V10V and VSV, and a WL (word-line) driver by simplifying its logic circuit. We reduce the total layout area by using pumped internal node voltages from a seven-stage cross-coupled charge pump for V10V (=10 V) and V5V (=5 V) without any additional charge pumps. The layout size of the designed 256 bit MTP memory is 618.250 μm × 437.425μm.展开更多

Methods: Eleven patients with NSCLC, who were treated with three-dimen...Objective: We studied the application of CT image fusion in the evaluation of radiation treatment planning for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Methods: Eleven patients with NSCLC, who were treated with three-dimensional con-formal radiation therapy, were studied. Each patient underwent twice sequential planning CT scan, i.e., at pre-treatment, and at mid-treatment for field reduction planning. Three treatment plans were established in each patient: treatment plan A was based on the pre-treatment planning CT scans for the first course of treatment, plan B on the mid-treatment planning CT scans for the second course of treatment, and treatment plan F on the fused images for the whole treatment. The irradiation doses received by organs at risk in the whole treatment with treatment A and B plans were estimated by the plus of the parameters in treatment plan A and B, assuming that the parameters involve the different tissues (i.e. V20=AV20+BV20), or the same tissues within an organ (i.e. Dmax=ADmax+BDmax). The assessment parameters in the treatment plan F were calculated on the basis of the DVH of the whole treatment. Then the above assessment results were compared. Results: There were marked differ-ences between the assessment results derived from the plus of assessment parameters in treatment plan A and B, and the ones derived from treatment plan F. Conclusion: When a treatment plan is altered during the course of radiation treatment, image fusion technique should be performed in the establishment of a new one. The estimation of the assessment parameters for the whole treatment with treatment plan A and B by simple plus, is inaccurate.展开更多

Aim of our study was to evaluate sunflower lines and hybrids, developed in this program. Best restorer lines were crossed with two lines with cytoplasmic male sterility (CMS-lines) used as testers. Hybrids were tested for seed yield, husk content and 1,000 seeds weight. Two-year hybrid trial allows us to define the most prominent hybrid combination (VK-905 A ~ K-4) and parental lines (CMS-line VK-905 A and restorer lines K-4, K-3 and K-I) for the future sunflower breeding work. It was further showed that confectionery hybrids with CMS-line VK-905 A do not show decrease in seed size with the increase in plant density.展开更多
In this study, a panel of monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) against Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus(PRRSV), named as 8C9 and4B4, were produced by fusing SP2/0 myeloma cells and spleen cells of BALB/...In this study, a panel of monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) against Porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus(PRRSV), named as 8C9 and4B4, were produced by fusing SP2/0 myeloma cells and spleen cells of BALB/c mice immunized with the PRRSV (TCID50=5.5), screened by the indirect ELISA and subjected to several limiting dilutions, mAbs were then identified by biological characterization. Among the two fusion cell strains, 8C9 belonged to the IgG1 subclass and 4B4 belonged to the IgG2a subclass. The titers in cell culture supematant and abdomen liquor reached to 1:104and 1:105, respectively. The specificity test indicated that the two cells had specific reactions for the PRRSV and GP5 protein respectively, and no reaction with Classical swine fever virus (CSFV) or Swine vesicular disease virus (SVDV). The molecular weights of the heavy chain and light chain were about 45.0 kDa and 25.0 kDa, respectively. In neutralization activity tests, the results showed that the prepared mAb 4B4 can protect 50% of cells with no CPE in dilution up to 1:512, but mAB 8C9 has no neutralization activities to PRRSV.展开更多

We report the case of a pa-tient who presented with 3-year history of Raynaud's phenomenon, gradual tightening of the skin which was ignored by the patient and her family members, and a 2-week history of severe respiratory dis-tress with left shoulder and upper back pain followed by the develop-ment of paraparesis. After a series of examinations, the patient was diagnosed with scleroderma and simultaneously with bronchogenic carcinoma and multiple distant metastases.展开更多
This paper describes experimental and numerical works to investigate noise phenomenon in supersonic flow discharged from a convergent-divergent nozzle.The noise phenomenon of flow is generated by an emission of 't...This paper describes experimental and numerical works to investigate noise phenomenon in supersonic flow discharged from a convergent-divergent nozzle.The noise phenomenon of flow is generated by an emission of 'transonic tones'.The results obtained show that the frequency of a transonic tone,that differs from the frequency of a screech tone due to the shock-cell structures in a jet and originates in the shock wave in the nozzle,increases in proportion to the nozzle pressure ratio.The high-order transonic tone has the directivity in the direction of the flow.As for the transonic tone's frequency,the separated zone was calculated by using a simple flow model considering the propagating perturbation.The results of the model corresponded to the results of this experiment well.展开更多
