Canonical Correlation Analysis on Natural Subsystem and Economic Subsystem——Taking the Eco-development of Hebei Province as an Example

[Objective] This study aimed to provide referential basis for ecosystem study of Hebei Province in the new decade of 21st century, by investigating the correlation between natural subsystem and economic subsystem. [Me... [Objective] This study aimed to provide referential basis for ecosystem study of Hebei Province in the new decade of 21st century, by investigating the correlation between natural subsystem and economic subsystem. [Method] The correlation between natural subsystem and economic subsystem in ecosystem was discussed by means of the canonical correlation, and the correlation between variables was explored with statistical data. [Result] The canonical correlation between the two subsystems could be explained by three groups of typical variables, Le., the canonical correlation between crop production and consumption; the canonical correlation between agricultural crop production, aquaculture and scientific research development funds; and the canonical correlation between forest area and GDP per capita. With the growth of economy and revenue and the steady development of agricultural production, there are still some serious problems, including the change of residents consumption is out of proportion to its material consumption; the socio-economic development depends on consuming of forests more heavily, which destroy the balance between the economic growth and environmental protection. [Conclusion] The results provide referential basis for the ecosystem study of Hebei Province. 展开更多

Ionic conductivity is one of the crucial parameters for inorganic solid-state electrolytes.To explore the relationship between porosity and ionic conductivity,a series of Li_(6.4)Ga_(0.2)La_(3)Zr_(2)O_(12) garnet type solid-state electrolytes with different porosities were prepared via solid-state reaction.Based on the quantified data,an empirical decay relationship was summarized and discussed by means of mathematical model and dimensional analysis method.It suggests that open porosity causes ionic conductivity to decrease exponentially.The pre-exponential factor obeys the Arrhenius Law quite well with the activation energy of 0.23 eV,and the decay constant is averaged to be 2.62%.While the closed porosity causes ionic conductivity to decrease linearly.The slope and intercept of this linear pattern also obey the Arrhenius Law and the activation energies are 0.24 and 0.27 eV,respectively.Moreover,the total porosity is linearly dependent on the open porosity,and different sintering conditions will lead to different linear patterns with different slopes and intercepts. 展开更多

The quantitative structure-property relationship(QSPR) of anabolic androgenic steroids was studied on the half-wave reduction potential(E1/2) using quantum and physico-chemical molecular descriptors. The descriptors were calculated by semi-empirical calculations. Models were established using partial least square(PLS) regression and back-propagation artificial neural network(BP-ANN). The QSPR results indicate that the descriptors of these derivatives have significant relationship with half-wave reduction potential. The stability and prediction ability of these models were validated using leave-one-out cross-validation and external test set. 展开更多

It is shown that a choice of degrees of freedom of a bipartite continuous variable system determines the amount of non-classical correlations (quantified by discord) in the system's state. Non-classical correlations (that include entanglement as a special kind of correlations) are ubiquitous for such systems. For a quantum state, if there are not non-classical correlations (quantum discord is zero) for one, there are in general non-classical correlations (quantum discord is non-zero) for another set of the composite system's degrees of freedom. The physical relevance of this "quantum correlations relativity" is emphasized also in the more general context. 展开更多
