本文主要在新形势下，矿山研究所如何通过强化管理使之适应市场经济的需要。根据矿山研究的现状，充分利用矿研所的优势，从强化管理入手，树立“管理也是资源”的概念。对强化管理重要性及其主要措施做了详尽论述。

Empirical Analysis on Urbanization Patterns in Zhejiang Province Based on Spatial Economy and GIS

Regional core cities are the growth poles for regional economic development, thus the issue about efficient urbanization pattern has always become a hot spot among researchers and policy makers. The Spatial Economy can be employed to improve it. Nevertheless, there actually exists an obvious gap between its theoretical models and the empirical simulation. To do so, this paper modifies the measurement of initial geographical advantages Stelder gave, and implements the empirical analyses of urban distribution in Zhejiang during the period of 1980-1990 by means of computer simulations in GIS environment. There are several interesting results achieved in this process. Firstly, given the values of parameters （transport cost is r, substitution elasticity of manufacturing sector p, and income share of spending on manufacture δ）, initial geographical advantages have the different impacts on urban systems, namely, urban locations, numbers and sizes over time across space. Secondly, the cities were distributed without any overlay in geographical space, which makes the patterns of urbanization generate the largest possible economic efficiencies. Thirdly, the urban systems-the location, number and size of Cities-from the simulation of the study area are suitable for the actual social and economic situations in the real world during the testing periods. Such results may have substantial implications for the policy how to choose the way of urbanization in a region.

A Hierarchical Model Architecture for Enterprise Integration in Chemical Industries

Towards integration of supply chain, manufacturing/production and investment decision making, this paper presents a hierarchical model architecture which contains six sub-models covering the areas of manufacturing control, production operation, design and revamp, production management, supply chain and investment decision making. Six types of flow, material, energy, information, humanware, partsware and capital are clasified. These flows connect enterprise components/subsystems to formulate system topology and logical structure. Enterprise components/subsystems are abstracted to generic elementary and composite classes. Finally, the model architecture is applied to a management system of an integrated suply chain, and suggestion are made on the usage of the model architecture and further development of the model as well as implementation issues.

SUSTAINABLE URBAN-RURAL RELATION IN RAPID URBANIZATION AREAS——Case of Transformation of "Urban Village" in Guangzhou

Many studies have been made concerning the problems, characteristics, formation, transformation measures, etc. of urban village from sociology, urban planning and geography, etc., which have made insightful analysis. However, most of these studies started mainly from the standpoint of the city govemment, drumming for the land- scape-oriented urbanization, namely pulling-down the urban village and constructing the splendid residence or business buildings. The article maintains that the most important thing the city government should do is to pay much attention to the sustainable living of urban villagers, who would lose their main income source, namely, the collective dividend and the family housing rent. The single method of compensation has been proved to be harmful to the villagers＇ community, in which some young villagers relying on rent were no longer to do anything but stay at home. On the other hand, considering the floating population has become the main stream of renters in urban villages, the emergence of urban villages was inevitable and would continue to exist in a long time under the socio-economic transition in urban China and globalization. Based on the analysis above, the transformation of urban village should take more concerns on the housing demands of floating population besides compensation for local villagers. Meanwhile, it is necessary to avoid the “landscape-oriented urbanization” without the “peasant-to-citizen” transformation.

A Brief Introduction to Standardization Education at the School of Business Administration, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law

This article briefly introduces the history, current situation and characteristics of standardization management education in the School of Business and Administration （SBA）, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law （ZUEL）. ZUEL＇s different levels of standardization education are discussed in detail, including undergraduate students, graduate students, and continuing education training for working professionals. Also ZUEL＇s teaching style, research foundation, and relative experiences in standardization education are introduced. ZUEL＇s capacity and characteristics are comprehensively shown and expected further developments in standardization education at ZUEL are provided.

Managers and Information Society： A Croatian Experience

In modem society information has become one of the most important resources, playing a crucial role in everyday life. As a result, information technology （IT） is now an indispensable tool in the business world, which has a direct impact on company competitiveness and performance. With all the changes in business environment there is also a dramatic shift in the way the management functions. In order to efficiently perform their tasks and thus rise up to the challenges of the information society, managers need not only to master appropriate IT skills, but also to understand the processes launched by the information revolution. The aim of this paper was to determine the extent to which Croatian managers are prepared for the information society. In addition to the data regarding the level of IT equipment at managers＇ disposal, the paper presents the results on computer usage, self-assessment of IT competencies, and the level of acceptance of modern technologies. Although satisfactory attainment has been recorded in some areas, the results of the analysis reveal that additional effort should be devoted to further improve computer and information literacy of Croatian managers.

Empirical Study on Standardization Curricula in Chinese Universities

This paper summarizes partial findings on education about standardization by CNIS in 2008. As of December 31, 2008, 21 universities and colleges in China had established a standardization curriculum. This paper deals with standardization education related to economic management, engineering, agriculture and science of law and summarizes respondents＇ opinions on teaching performances and design of teaching materials and curriculums.

Business Choice of Enterprises’Diversification

Dynamic method for identifying customization level

Mass Customizations （MC） require the enterprise to identify quickly and precisely the product customization level. On one side, the enterprise could avoid manufacturing products which cannot be sold out and cut the production cost; on the other side, the enterprise could meet customer requirements as fast as possible. However, there is no perfect method for identifying the customization level till now. A new dynamic method is presented to solve this problem through gradual thought and management information system technology. The method is capable for promptly determining and alerting the product customization level.

Scenario Formation of Energy Demand and CO_2 Emissionsfor Sustainable China

Co-integration theory has been employed in this paper and Granger causes are found between urbanization rate and GDP, between capital stock and GDP. Scenario analysis of GDP is performed using the GDP model established in the paper. The energy consumptions in Germany, Japan and other developed countries are analyzed and compared with the energy consumption in China. Environmental friendly scenario of energy demand and CO2 emissions for sustainable China has been formed based on the results of comparison. Under environmental friendly scenario, the primary energy consumption will be 4.31 billion ton coal equivalence （tee） and CO2 emissions will be 1.854 billion t-c in 2050; energy per capital will be 3.06 tee that is 1.8 times of energy consumed in 2005 in China and 51% of consumed energy per capital in Japan in 2003. In 2050, the energy requirement of unit GDP will be 20% lower than that of Germany in 2003, but will be still 37% higher than that in Japan in 2003. It is certain that to fulfill the environmental friendly Scenario of energy demand and CO2 emissions is a difficult task and it needs long term efforts of the whole society, not only in production sectors but also in service and household sectors,

Application Research of Oil Development Costs in Reservoir Management

Based on oil development costs, the application research in the technical and economic limits calculation of oil development and the production optimal allocation to all the oilfields, was finished. At the same time, according to the regression of real development costs, a new method for oil well economic water cut and oil well economic rate are set up, the production optimal allocation is developed with satisfactory results.

Cervical Spine Tuberculosis： A Case Report

Bone localization of tuberculosis mainly affects the thoraco-lumbar spine. The cervical spine is rare. Its diagnosis is often late which exposes to great instability and potentially serious complications. We reported the case of a 10-year old boy with no medical history, showed torticollis and high temperature without neurological complication. In the physical examination, he had torticollis and pain in the third, fourth and fifth cervical vertebra. When biopsy was performed, we fred an inter apophysis （between C3 and C4） collection. The histological examination confirmed the diagnosis of apophysis tuberculosis. The management based on tuberculosis chemotherapy and immobilization started as soon as possible.

Rational Analysis of Management Accounting Implementation in China＇s Government Units

The implementation of management accounting in China＇s government units is an inevitable requirement of economic development and the important deployment of efficient government establishment. Up to now, China has made a lot of theoretical explorations and tried about management accounting practice in government units. But in practice, there are still some shortcomings. Therefore, based on the thought of Accounting Research Methodology written by Professor Lu Yonghua, this article carries out a comprehensive, systematic, in-depth and concrete study on the implementation of management accounting in China＇s government units. This paper argues that there are some deficiencies in management accounting practice, including lack of a complete government management accounting system, the failure of combining management accounting implementation with specific national conditions, limitations of government management accounting itself, resistance existing in government management accounting implementation, and the low quality of management accounting practitioners. In this regard, this research paper learns from foreign experience and puts forward some corresponding improvement suggestions from the perspective of legislation, empirical research, information construction, education investment and so on.

Roles and Promotional Measures of Standardization in the Development of Circular Economy
