Venn Relations of Human Resource： Impact of Human Resource Management on Economy

Research topic of study is Venn relations. Venn symbolizes relationship among human resource methods. They are personnel management, human resource management, and strategic human resource management. Venn symbolizes relationship among three human resource methods. According to the relations, firms apply three of them in human resource management departments. Personnel management is associated with job performance, human resource management is associated with employee performance, and strategic human resource management is associated with firm performance. Development of a spontaneous combustion TARPs system based on BP neural network

Spontaneous combustion of coal is a major cause of coal mine fires.It not only poses a severe hazard to the safe extraction of coal resources,but also jeopardizes the safety of mine workers.The development of a scientific management system of coal spontaneous combustion is of vital importance to the safe production of coal mine.This paper provides a comparative analysis of a range of worldwide prediction techniques and methods for coal spontaneous combustion,and systematically introduces the trigger action response plans(TARPs)system used in Australian coal mines for managing the spontaneous heating of coal.An artificial neural network model has been established on the basis of real coal mine operational conditions.Through studying and training the neural network model,prediction errors can be controlled within the allowable range.The trained model is then applied to the conditions of Nos.1 and 3 coal seams located in Weijiadi Coal Mine to demonstrate its feasibility for spontaneous combustion assessment.Based upon the TARPs system which is commonly used in Australian longwall mines,a TARPs system has been developed for Weijiadi Coal Mine to assist the management of spontaneous combustion hazard and ensure the safe operation of its mining activities.

A Brief Introduction to Standardization Education at the School of Business Administration, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law

This article briefly introduces the history, current situation and characteristics of standardization management education in the School of Business and Administration （SBA）, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law （ZUEL）. ZUEL＇s different levels of standardization education are discussed in detail, including undergraduate students, graduate students, and continuing education training for working professionals. Also ZUEL＇s teaching style, research foundation, and relative experiences in standardization education are introduced. ZUEL＇s capacity and characteristics are comprehensively shown and expected further developments in standardization education at ZUEL are provided.

Analysis of Influential element of Building Economy in Zhengzhou, Henan

A Note on the Status of Dairy Farming in Galle District, Sri Lanka

Present investigation was carried out to study the factors which affect milk production of dairy cattle in Labuduwa, Rathgama and Yakkalamulla veterinary ranges in Galle district, Sri Lanka. Breed type of cattle, insemination method, sex of the calves, milk production of mother cows, rearing methods and ectoparasitic tick infestations were studied. The studied cattle were belonged to cross breeds of Jersey, Friesian, Sahiwal and AFS （Australian friesian sahiwal）and Jersey was the most common breed. Sahiwal and AFS breeds tend to produce more male calves under artificial insemination. The milk production of mother cows reared under semi intensive management system was high （p 〈 0.05）. In addition, results revealed that the milk production of artificially inseminated mother cows was higher than that of the naturally bred mother cows （p 〉 0.05）. Boophillus decolaratus was the only tick species present on studied calves with low percentage abundance （14.54%） of male ticks compared to that of female ticks （85.45%）. Tick abundance was high in calves reared under free range management system. The tick abundance was high in Labuduwa range than Rathgama range （p 〉 0.05）. According to the findings of the present study, the effect of the cattle management system has considerable impacts on milk production and tick infestations of dairy cattle in studied veterinary ranges in Galle district.

Statistical Analytical Study of the Impact of Consumer Awareness Among the Students of the Faculty of Business Administration at the University of Kuwait in Consumer Protection and Its Relationship to Some Economic and Social Characteristics

Kuwaiti youth is an importam element in the field of development in the Kuwaiti society, especially in the field of self- consciousness and social consciousness incident. As always said, that young Gulf inherently consumerist element of first degree because of abundant liquidity and reasonable level of income compared to others of non - Gulf societies. Therefore, this research aims to study and analyze the impact of consumer awareness among the students of the Faculty of Business Administration in consumer protection in terms of the current role and hoped to guide consumption and its relationship to some economic and social characteristics of the consumers. In particular it has been studying the impact of some of the qualifications for heads of Kuwaiti families, their total monthly income and their place of residency inhabited by the expressive factors of consumer awareness in college students as well as their impact on the degree of preference for quality of consumer goods in being a low-price, median-price or expensive-price. In addition, it has been studying the relationship of these social variables noted with the role of government and consumer protection associations through what they are doing to develop laws and policies directed to develop and educate consumers. To achieve these goals, a special questionnaire has been prepared especially for this purpose has been met from a random sample of students from the University of Kuwait. I have been using the appropriate statistical analysis to study these goals. Thus, some of the appropriate suggestions and recommendations are obtained to achieve the objectives of this research.

Possibilities and Contradictions of Nanotechnology Applications in Preventive Activities Insurer

One effective and proven tool for managing risk is insurance. At the same time, insurers, reinsurers, insurance, and reinsurance brokers in search of the relevant value of their services in the eyes of insured and long-term benefits are increasingly paying attention to the possibilities of nanotechnology. On one hand, insurers see unlimited possibilities of nanotechnology in preventive and repressive activity in relation to losses. The obstacle in this case, for high-tech companies, is stiff competition from companies which are not innovation leaders, but with the necessary influence and power at the international and national market. On the other hand, understanding the reasons for the application of nanotechnology in the conflict prevention activities of the insurer allows him to develop and implement a more flexible strategy for sustainable development of the business.

Audit Partner Rotation, Audit Quality, and Dynamic Industry Structure

Previous research on the relationship between audit partner tenure and audit quality assumed that auditors conducted auditing works in a stable external environment where the corporate and management behavior was highly predictable. This study uses the joint tenure between audit partners and management to explain audit quality, because corporate directors would consider an appropriate adjustment in the management to deal with a dramatic change in the external environment. First, we examined whether there is a significant association between audit partner tenure and audit quality after the implementation of mandatory audit partner rotation by using the auditor tenure only. We addressed this issue by using a sample of Taiwan Residents companies and found no significant association between audit partner tenure and the magnitude of discretionary accruals （DA）, a common proxy for audit quality. Second, we tested the relationship between audit partner tenure and audit quality under the consideration of industry structure stability. The result exhibits a negative relation between audit partner tenure and audit quality under the control of industry structural stability which is measured by a proxy variable, the joint tenure between audit partner and management. Third, we investigated whether the association does exist between joint tenure of auditors and management and audit quality. We also addressed this issue by using Taiwan Residents data and found a significant association between the joint tenure of auditor and management and the magnitude of DA. Our findings provide evidence that the use of a mandatory rotation rule is an ineffective way to improve audit quality.

Cost Evaluation of Compact Dairy Wastewater Treatment System in Kuwait

In Kuwait, wastewater management has gained extra attention in recent years and becomes crucial for sustainable industrial development sector. Among the food industry sector, dairy processing plants generate huge amount of wastewater, which is heavily loaded with organic and other toxic compounds. Disposal of dairy wastewater effluent without sufficient treatment can contaminate aquatic ecosystems. Cost efficient treatment processes that are effective in removing organic load and other contaminants are essential to meet stringent environmental regulations applied in Kuwait. A research study was carried out at the KISR （Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research） to assess the technical viability and economic feasibility of combined microfiltration and biological treatment system. This work presents the economic evaluation of the adopted treatment system. The results show that the cost of the integrated system for large scale is estimated to be US$ 1.575/m3, which is 25% less than the cost of wastewater transportation and treatment in conventional sewage plants.
