It is reported that it occurs more commonly in young black women. We report here our seldom experience of a Japanese case in whom icterus was found as a first symptom just after a caesarean operation. A 36-year-old Japanese woman developed icterus after delivery by the Caesarean operation. A surgical operation was performed without can deny that there was a tumor-related change in a bile duct as a result of examination for various images. As a result of pathological evaluation, GCT was diagnosed. By the preoperative organization biomicroscopy result, it was not able to be attachd a right diagnosis. It was thought that this tumor, although rare, should be considered as one of the causes of biliary stenosis in the younger population. 展开更多

Objective: The aim of this study was to explore clinical value of thoracic small incision in radical operation for lung and esophageal cancer in assuring same treatment effects with conventional incision. Methods: Collected data of patients was given radical operation for lung and esophageal cancer in our department from January 1, 2006 to January 1, 2007, and performed retrospective analysis, among them, small incision group (improved group) was 143 cases, and conventional group was 167 cases including 6 cases which was changed from small incision to conventional incision in operation. Compared operation time, incision length, intraoperative blood loss, postoperative drainage flow, number of lymph node dissected, recovery time of postoperative upper limb function, postoperative pain, postoperative complications etc. between both groups. Results: Compared with conventional group, intraoperative blood loss, postoperative drainage flow, postoperative pain, recovery time of postoperative upper limb function in improved group was improved significantly, and there was no obvious difference in operation time and number of lymph node dissected between both groups. Conclusion: Small incision in radical operation for lung and esophageal cancer is small trauma, and quick recovery after operation, treatment effects of it is basically similar to that of conventional operation method, however, its application is limited in few cases. 展开更多

Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) are well known as the next generation of shape-persistent zeolite analogues, which have brought new impetus to the development of porous organic materials as well as two-dimensional polymers. Since the advent of COFs in 2005, many striking findings have definitely proven their great potentials expanding applications across energy,environment and healthcare fields. With thorough exploration over a decade, research interest has been drawn on the scientific challenges on chemistry, while making full play of COF values has remained far from satisfactory yet. Thus opening an avenue to modulating COF assemblies on the multi-scale is no longer just an option, but a necessity for matching the application requirements with enhanced performances. In this mini-review, we summarize the recent progress on design of nanoscale COFs with varying forms. Detailed description is concentrated on the synthetic strategies of COF assemblies such as spheres, fibers,tubes, coatings and films, thereby shedding light on the flexible manipulation over dimensions, compositions and morphologies.Meanwhile, the advanced applications of nanoscale COFs have been discussed here with comparison of their bulky counterparts. 展开更多

Bees are the main contributors of pollination and it is predicted that disruption of pollination causes some serious problems in economics, agriculture and ecology. It has been reported that honeybee colony collapse has increased dramatically for some time in different parts of the world. In order to investigate the causes of colony collapse, we establish a fractional multi-order honeybee colony population model. Two different models with Caputo and Caputo-Fabrizio differentiation operators have been compared. We justify the existence and uniqueness of the solution. Stability analysis has been presented. We find the numerical values of the fractional order (p, q) so that the numerical results are close to the experimental findings more than the integer-order case. 展开更多
