The one-wheel car model can be approximately described as a nonl...This paper presents the construction of a pneumatic active suspension system for a one-wheel car model using fuzzy reasoning and a disturbance observer. The one-wheel car model can be approximately described as a nonlinear two degrees of freedom system subject to excitation from a road profile. The active control is composed of fuzzy and disturbance controls, and the active control force is constructed by actuating a pneumatic actuator. A phase lead-lag compensator is inserted to counter the performance degradation due to the delay of the pneumatic actuator. The experimental result indicates that the proposed active suspension improves much the vibration suppression of the car model.展开更多
Based on the study on the city transport systems of some typical cities worldwide,this paper put forward that each city transport system has its own development mode,which is influenced by the city development plan,ec...Based on the study on the city transport systems of some typical cities worldwide,this paper put forward that each city transport system has its own development mode,which is influenced by the city development plan,economic development level,traveling vehicle composition etc..When some problems occur,such as the congestions caused by contradiction between the road capacity and vehicle composition,the city transport system may come into temporary maturity period.If the improvement for road system is limited meanwhile,optimized structure of vehicle composition should be an effective solution in this case.With the development of economy-internationalization,the development speed of city transport modernization is rapid.When traveling easiness is conflicting with efficiency,the advantages of public transport system become more obvious.Correspondingly,the superiority of two-wheel vehicles will reappear.Though the important function of two-wheel vehicles for alleviating city traffic problems is obvious,however,their development strategy must be reasonably proposed,and operation regulations must be performed accordingly.展开更多

Selected predictive and quasi dynamic control system algorithms of traction vehicle are presented in the paper. For selected constructions of traction vehicle drive system are presented in simulation models and are results of calculations of different exploitations work state of wheel vehicle with hybrid drive system. Results of computer calculations are verified with laboratory measurement and suitable corrections coefficient to simulations models of vehicles is introduced.展开更多

This paper presents a mathematic model to restore the interacting process of vehicle-tire-road system and tries to find out the mechanics of...The dynamic tire force of heavy vehicle is a primary reason for road damage. This paper presents a mathematic model to restore the interacting process of vehicle-tire-road system and tries to find out the mechanics of interaction. A nonlinear tri-axle vehicle model with IBS (integral balanced suspension) is firstly proposed based on the detailed analysis of structural features of a heavy vehicle (DFL1250). The results indicate that the nonlinearities in the vehicle suspension contribute to improvement of ride comfort and to the reduction of dynamic tire force. Furthermore, an FRC (flexible rolling contact) tire model with the enveloping characteristics is added into the IBS model. The tire model considers both the tire contact history with rough road profile and the uneven distribution characteristics of vertical load. The FRC model is able to remove medium and high vibration components from uneven road profile due to its filtering feature. It is expected that these results could supply a new idea for vehicle-road interaction research.展开更多
