传统的人口分布图,往往采用点值法和分级统计图法。但是有一定的局限性,即在同一密度等级内的差异性就不能得到反映。为此,我们实现了在 IBM-AT 微机、HIPID 数字化仪和 HP7475A 绘图仪硬件支持下,用 MAPEDIT、地理图形输入系统、AG 专... 传统的人口分布图,往往采用点值法和分级统计图法。但是有一定的局限性,即在同一密度等级内的差异性就不能得到反映。为此,我们实现了在 IBM-AT 微机、HIPID 数字化仪和 HP7475A 绘图仪硬件支持下,用 MAPEDIT、地理图形输入系统、AG 专题制图系统和自行研制的矢量栅格立体制图系统等软件,绘制任意视角、可调比例尺的更形象直观、更准确反映人口密度空间差异的立体人口密度图。输出样本有上海市中心区(分别以区和街道为绘图单元),上海浦东新区和上海普陀区等立体人口密度图和分级统计晕线图。用计算机编制人口密度图,是人口地图编制的新突破,这一首创性工作。 展开更多

In this paper, we propose a new method that combines collage error in fractal domain and Hu moment invariants for image retrieval with a statistical method - variable bandwidth Kernel Density Estimation (KDE). The proposed method is called CHK (KDE of Collage error and Hu moment) and it is tested on the Vistex texture database with 640 natural images. Experimental results show that the Average Retrieval Rate (ARR) can reach into 78.18%, which demonstrates that the proposed method performs better than the one with parameters respectively as well as the commonly used histogram method both on retrieval rate and retrieval time. 展开更多

A novel di- agonal floorplan is integrated to enhance the data sharing between different cores in system-on-chip. Custom clock network con- taining hand-adjusted buffers and variable routing rules is constructed to realize balanced synchronization. Effective power plan considering both IR drop and electromigration achieves high utilization and maintains power integrity in our MediaSoC. Using such methods, deep sub-micron design challenges are managed under a fast prototyping methodology, which greatly shortens the design cycle. 展开更多

The formal modelling and verification method has become an effective way of improving the reliability and correctness of complex,safety-critical embedded systems.Statecharts are widely used to formally model embedded applications,but they do not realise the reasonable separation of system concerns,which would result in code scattering and tangling.Aspect-Oriented Software Development(AOSD)technology could separate crosscutting concerns from core concerns and identify potential problems in the early phase of the software development life cycle.Therefore,the paper proposes aspect-oriented timed statecharts(extended timed statecharts with AOSD)to separately model base functional requirements and other requirements(e.g.,scheduling,error handling),thereby improving the modularity and development efficiency of embedded systems.Furthermore,the dynamic behaviours of embedded systems are simulated and analysed to determine whether the model satisfies certain properties(e.g.,liveness,safety)described by computation tree logic formulae.Finally,a given case demonstrates some desired properties processed with respect to the aspect-oriented timed statecharts model. 展开更多

The information access is the rich data available for information retrieval, evolved to provide principle approaches or strategies for searching. For building the successful web retrieval search engine model, there are a number of prospects that arise at the different levels where techniques, such as Usenet, support vector machine are employed to have a significant impact. The present investigations explore the number of problems identified its level and related to finding information on web. The authors have attempted to examine the issues and prospects by applying different methods such as web graph analysis, the retrieval and analysis of newsgroup postings and statistical methods for inferring meaning in text. The proposed model thus assists the users in finding the existing formation of data they need. The study proposes three heuristics model to characterize the balancing between query and feedback information, so that adaptive relevance feedback. The authors have made an attempt to discuss the parameter factors that are responsible for the efficient searching. The important parameters can be taken care of for the future extension or development of search engines. 展开更多

A new local cost function is proposed in this paper based on the linear relationship assumption between the values of the color components and the intensity component in each local image window,then a new quadratic objective function is derived from it and the globally optimal chrominance values can be computed by solving a sparse linear system of equations.Through the colorization experiments on various test images,it is confirmed that the colorized images obtained by our proposed method have more vivid colors and sharper boundaries than those obtained by the traditional method.The peak signal to noise ratio(PSNR) of the colorized images and the average estimation error of the chrominance values relative to the original images also show that our proposed method gives more precise estimation than the traditional method. 展开更多

To produce a smoother and more natural interpolated image, and to preserve and enhance original image details, we defined three perception-based local statistic parameters, namely contrast, noise visibility, and edge strength based on three psychophysical principles, including Weber’s Law, Fechner’s Law, and Stevens’ Power Law, and integrated these parameters into a fuzzy logic system to set up an advanced image interpolation algorithm. Application of this algorithm to detect edge behaviors and local statistical information of images demonstrated better noise removal ability and obtained sharper edges than traditional image interpolation algorithems such as nearest neighbor, bilinear and bicubic interpolation methods. 展开更多
