Objectives:This systematic review was conducted to explore whether nutritional supplement can improve the benefits of exercise intervention on sarcopenia in the elderly.Methods:Databases,including PubMed,Embase,Cochra...Objectives:This systematic review was conducted to explore whether nutritional supplement can improve the benefits of exercise intervention on sarcopenia in the elderly.Methods:Databases,including PubMed,Embase,Cochrane Library,Web of Science,CINAHL,CBM,CNKI,WANFANG,and VIP,were searched.All related papers with randomized controlled trials(RCT)meth-odology that were included in the databases from inception to 19 July 2016 were selected for the study.The tool"assessing risk of bias"from Cochrane Handbook 5.10 was used to evaluate the quality of included papers.A meta-analysis of eligible studies was performed using Stata12.0.Data that we were unable to convene or merge were subjected to descriptive analysis.Results:Six trials were included in our study,which included 429 elderly patients with sarcopenia.The overall methodological quality of the trials was moderate.Compared with the exercise group,patients who were given nutritional supplements gained a bigger boost in fat-free mass(standard mean differ-ence(SMD)=5.78,95%CI:5.17 to 6.40,P=0.000)and muscle mass(SMD=2.048,95%CI:0.907 to 3.189,P=0.000),as well as showed enhancement of keen extension strength(SMD=1.08,95%CI:0.71 to 1.45,P=0.000)and usual walk speed(SMD=0.570,95%CI:0.19 to 0.95,P=0.003).Conclusion:Nutritional supplementation may magnify the effect of exercise intervention on sarcopenia elderly in terms of muscle mass,muscle strength,and physical performance.Inconsistencies were pre-sent among research studies.More robust studies are needed to determine the most suitable type of nutrient and target population and to explore the actual role of combined intervention in managing sarcopenia in the elderly.展开更多

In the following research, the life cycle of vessels was divided into 9 phases, and 15 research subjects were also identified from among these phases. The 15 subjects were systemized, and then the man-machine-environment engineering system application model for vessels was developed using the ICAM definition method 0 (IDEF0), which is a systematical modeling method. This system model bridges the gap between the data and information flow of every two associated subjects with the major basic research methods and approaches included, which brings the formerly relatively independent subjects together as a whole. The application of this systematic model should facilitate the application of man-machine-environment system engineering in vessels, especially at the conceptual and embodiment design phases. The managers and designers can deal with detailed tasks quickly and efficiently while reducing repetitive work.展开更多

The authors define software composition as the result of aggregating and/or associating a component to a software system. The component itself may be informational or functional and carry a certain level of security attribute. The authors first show that the security attributes or properties form a lattice structure when combined with the appropriate least upper bound and greatest lower bound type of operators. Three composition operators, named C l, C2 and C3 are developed. The system's security properties resulting from these compositions are then studied. The authors discuss how different composition operators maintain, relax and restrict the security properties. Traffic matrix is an abstract representation of the traffic volume flowing between sets of source and destination pairs.It is a key input parameter of network operations management,planning,provisioning and traffic en...Traffic matrix is an abstract representation of the traffic volume flowing between sets of source and destination pairs.It is a key input parameter of network operations management,planning,provisioning and traffic engineering.Traffic matrix is also important in the context of OpenFlow-based networks.Because even good measurement systems can suffer from errors and data collection systems can fail,missing values are common.Existing matrix completion methods do not consider traffic exhibit characteristics and only provide a finite precision.To address this problem,this paper proposes a novel approach based on compressive sensing and traffic self-similarity to reconstruct the missing traffic flow data.Firstly,we analyze the realworld traffic matrix,which all exhibit lowrank structure,temporal smoothness feature and spatial self-similarity.Then,we propose Self-Similarity and Temporal Compressive Sensing(SSTCS) algorithm to reconstruct the missing traffic data.The extensive experiments with the real-world traffic matrix show that our proposed SSTCS can significantly reduce data reconstruction errors and achieve satisfactory accuracy comparing with the existing solutions.Typically SSTCS can successfully reconstruct the traffic matrix with less than 32%errors when as much as98%of the data is missing.展开更多

In Vietnam, according to investigated results, almost ships of country merchant fleet are facing with ship speed decrease, fuel consumption increase due to the torque rich, consequently the average ship operation cost is increasing from 15% to 25%, even higher in some cases and the environment is badly impacted. To comply with the international requirements and national legislation regarding to "using efficiently energy and environment protection", Vietnamese shipping companies must combat with the torque rich problem as crucial reason making downgrade in ship operation. The article shows a potential method to reduce the torque rich phenomena by modifying propeller which has been successfully applied for a real ship in Vietnam.展开更多

The models were adjudged r...This paper investigated the growth and policy implications of Global System for Mobile Communication in Nigeria. Stochastic economic modeling was used to analyze Nigeria's time series data. The models were adjudged reliable before they were used. The components of the model were defined and a prior expectation of the relationship among the variables explained for the purpose of giving the reviewers and users a deep insight into the phenomenon under study. The secondary data used for the study were processed using the E-View for windows electronic packages. The outcome of the empirical and stochastic investigations shows that Global System for Mobile Communication has a positive relationship with output growth in Nigeria. The impact is of a higher magnitude. The usage of Global System for Mobile Telecommunication led to 17 percent rise in the output growth. The findings suggest the need for the Nigerian Communication Commission (NCC) and the federal government of Nigeria to expand tele-density and directly make telephone communications cheap and accessible. To achieve this goal, more licenses should be given to GSM operators in order to allow for healthy competition among them. This will lead to improved quality of services, quality of product and consequently sustain the growth and development of the country.展开更多

This research was carried out to find a possible way of optimizing the drilling and blasting operations in an open pit mine of Somair (Société des Mines de l’Air), in the Niger Republic. In order to optimize the drilling operation, the time taken by two drilling machines to accomplish the same task was analyzed statistically. The result indicates that the Down the Hole Hammer Drilling Rig (DMNo406) is more efficient than the Drill Master (DM405). The relative unit consumption of two explosives (Explus and Nitram 9), when used under the same operating conditions, were also considered and the results indicate Explus to be more economical per unit consumption with a range of 0.15 g/t–0.183 g/t, when compared with Nitram 9 with a unit consumption range of 0.19 g/t-0.24 g/t in the study area.展开更多

How much the goal was an exploratory research, how much the procedure was a literature search, how much as nature was an applied research, and how much as approach was qualitative research? The following instruments were identified and selected: (a) the methodology for the analysis of metropolitan transport systems; (b) the knowledge management maturity model (Siemens); and (c) Documentation and Information Centre. The simulation, using the tools in the knowledge management to analyze the Company Metropolitan of S^io Paulo--METRO, identified the need for improvements in eight areas and the problems: (1) rethink the knowledge management area; (2) develop new knowledge management policies; (3) define responsibilities in knowledge management area; (4) implement new knowledge management processes; (5) explore new ways and structures of knowledge; (6) consider the internal and external actors in knowledge management actions; (7) expand the dissemination of the collaborative culture; and (8) integrate in the knowledge management area current and future initiatives. The analysis shows that the transposition of the current situation to the desired situation for the company can be obtained with the implementation of an Information and Documentation Centre. The conclusion is that this set of tools allows to characterize, evaluate, and model the knowledge management in this business.展开更多

Many capacity-enhancing techniques are applied to elevate the gap between the amount of traffic and network capacity, and more solutions are required to minimize the gap. Traffic allocation among multiple networks is regarded as one of the most effective methods to solve the problem. However, current studies are unable to derive the quantity of traffic that each network should carry. An intelligent traffic allocation algorithm for multiple networks is proposed to obtain the optimal traffic distribution. Multiple factors affecting traffic distribution are considered in the proposed algorithm, such as network coverage, network cost, user habit, service types, network capacity and terminals. Using evaluations, we proved that the proposed algorithm enables a lower network cost than load balancing schemes. A case study of strategy rmldng for a 2G system refarming is presented to further illustrate the applicability of the proposed algorithm. We demonstrated that the new algorithm could be applied in strategy rmldng for telecommunication operators.展开更多

With the Teleo Cloud architecture, operators can manage both IT infrastructures and network resources intelligently in order to adapt to the dynamic demands from the application and to establish open platforms for developing new services.
文摘Drilling and blasting play vital roles in opencast mining. These operations not only affect the cost of production directly but as well and significantly, the overall operational costs. This research was carried out to find a possible way of optimizing the drilling and blasting operations in an open pit mine of Somair (Société des Mines de l’Air), in the Niger Republic. In order to optimize the drilling operation, the time taken by two drilling machines to accomplish the same task was analyzed statistically. The result indicates that the Down the Hole Hammer Drilling Rig (DMNo406) is more efficient than the Drill Master (DM405). The relative unit consumption of two explosives (Explus and Nitram 9), when used under the same operating conditions, were also considered and the results indicate Explus to be more economical per unit consumption with a range of 0.15 g/t–0.183 g/t, when compared with Nitram 9 with a unit consumption range of 0.19 g/t-0.24 g/t in the study area.
文摘Good equipment management is essential for the day to day management of an enterprise. Targeted at production opera-tion of the railway transportation department of a mining group and aimed at mine railway equipment management, we have estab-lished a management information system for the equipment in the entire process of the life cycle of equipment. The project deals with basic data about equipment, initial management, maintenance, operation and even disposal, based on a C/S and B/S structure. We adopted an object-oriented approach, dealing with software engineering, information engineering, economic and organizational measures. Thus, effective monitoring and control of the operation of railway equipment and its status in the entire process has been achieved.

文摘Batteries transfer management is one important aspect in electric vehicle(EV)network's intelligent operation management system.Batteries transfer is a special and much more complex VRP(Vehicle Routing Problem) which takes the multiple constraints such as dynamic multi-depots,time windows,simultaneous pickups and deliveries,distance minimization,etc.into account.We call it VRPEVB(VRP with EV Batteries).This paper,based on the intelligent management model of EV's battery power,puts forward a battery transfer algorithm for the EV network which considers the traffic congestion that changes dynamically and uses improved Ant Colony Optimization.By setting a reasonable tabv range,special update rules of the pheromone and path list memory functions,the algorithm can have a better convergence,and its feasibility is proved by the experiment in an EV's demonstration operation system.
文摘Train control systems ensure the safety of railways. This paper begins with a summary of the typical train control systems in Japan and Europe. Based on this summary, the author then raises the following question regarding current train control systems: What approach should be adopted in order to enhance the functionality, safety, and reliability of train control systems and assist in commercial operations on railways? Next, the author provides a desirable architecture that is likely to assist with the development of new train control systems based on current information and communication technologies. A new unified train control system (UTCS) is proposed that is effective in enhancing the robustness and com- petitiveness of a train control system. The ultimate architecture of the UTCS will be only composed of essential elements such as point machines and level crossing control devices in the field. Finally, a pro- cessing method of the UTCS is discussed.
文摘This research aimed to determine instruments for analysis of knowledge management in operators companies of metropolitan transport systems. How much the goal was an exploratory research, how much the procedure was a literature search, how much as nature was an applied research, and how much as approach was qualitative research? The following instruments were identified and selected: (a) the methodology for the analysis of metropolitan transport systems; (b) the knowledge management maturity model (Siemens); and (c) Documentation and Information Centre. The simulation, using the tools in the knowledge management to analyze the Company Metropolitan of S^io Paulo--METRO, identified the need for improvements in eight areas and the problems: (1) rethink the knowledge management area; (2) develop new knowledge management policies; (3) define responsibilities in knowledge management area; (4) implement new knowledge management processes; (5) explore new ways and structures of knowledge; (6) consider the internal and external actors in knowledge management actions; (7) expand the dissemination of the collaborative culture; and (8) integrate in the knowledge management area current and future initiatives. The analysis shows that the transposition of the current situation to the desired situation for the company can be obtained with the implementation of an Information and Documentation Centre. The conclusion is that this set of tools allows to characterize, evaluate, and model the knowledge management in this business.

文摘Data stream management system (DSMS) provides convenient solutions to the problem of processing continuous queries on data streams.Previous approaches for scheduling these queries and their operators assume that each operator runs in separate thread or all operators combine in one query plan and run in a single thread.Both approaches suffer from severe drawbacks concerning the thread overhead and the stalls due to expensive operators.To overcome these drawbacks,a novel approach called clustered operators scheduling (COS) is proposed that adaptively clusters operators of the query plan into a number of groups based on their selectivity and computing cost using S-mean clustering.Experimental evaluation is provided to demonstrate the potential benefits of COS scheduling over the other scheduling strategies.COS can provide adaptive,flexible,reliable,scalable and robust design for continuous query processor.

文摘In recent years, wireless communication systems have experienced tremendous growth in data traffic. Many capacity-enhancing techniques are applied to elevate the gap between the amount of traffic and network capacity, and more solutions are required to minimize the gap. Traffic allocation among multiple networks is regarded as one of the most effective methods to solve the problem. However, current studies are unable to derive the quantity of traffic that each network should carry. An intelligent traffic allocation algorithm for multiple networks is proposed to obtain the optimal traffic distribution. Multiple factors affecting traffic distribution are considered in the proposed algorithm, such as network coverage, network cost, user habit, service types, network capacity and terminals. Using evaluations, we proved that the proposed algorithm enables a lower network cost than load balancing schemes. A case study of strategy rmldng for a 2G system refarming is presented to further illustrate the applicability of the proposed algorithm. We demonstrated that the new algorithm could be applied in strategy rmldng for telecommunication operators.

This paper puts forward that the airport passenger personalized service system in the era of big data, which can achieve high precision indoor and outdoor positioning seamless switch through using the integration of GPS and Beacon technology. Personalized service client for mobile intelligent terminal was developed to provide more convenient, efficient, dynamic and personalized airport information service for airport passenger.
