However, the behavior of website registration has not ever been thoroughly studied. We use the database provided by the Chinese Software Develop Net (CSDN) to provide a complete perspective on this research point. We concentrate on the following three aspects: complexity, correlation, and preference. From these analyses, we draw the following conclusions: firstly, a considerable number of users have not realized the importance of identification and are using very simple identifications that can be attacked very easily. Secondly, there is a strong complexity correlation among the three parts of identification. Thirdly, the top three passwords that users like are 123456789, 12345678 and 11111111, and the top three email providers that they prefer are NETEASE, qq and sina. Further, we provide some suggestions to improve the quality of user passwords.展开更多

Cyworld was one of the most successful SNSs in the world, but its international expansion efforts failed. Facebook's open technology has had considerable influence on various sectors of the economy and society and allowed it to become a dominant SNS at the global level, whereas Cyworld has remained a local SNS. Facebook's open platform and application programming interface (API) pose a serious challenge to Cyworld's walled-garden approach. Cyworld is based on strong ties fostering close relationships, whereas Facebook expands social networks through its open and weak ties and has more network power than Cyworld. Therefore, openness is the main reason behind the rise of Facebook and the fall of Cyworld.展开更多

The main research questions are: (1) Do wine tourism destinations of excellence worldwide make use of Web 2.0 tools in their official websites? (2) Is it possible to estimate the degree of intensity of use of such tools? The method used for the purpose of this research is inductive: starting from the observation of some specific cases we wanted to implement a scoring model that, taking into account the presence and intensity of the use of Web 2.0 tools selected by the wine tourism destinations of excellence, could be replicated in different contexts from the one analyzed here. The study reveals the interest in the tools of Web 2.0 by the institutional bodies responsible for management of destinations; however it also shows that there is not a full awareness of the scope of strategic and organizational development in the web 2.0 applications resulting in the relationship with potential visitors and those who have already experienced a tourist territory.展开更多

This paper discusses the application of social network sites in building an interactive English reading community under the guidance of the constructivist learning theory and its influence on the learners' English reading. This SNS-aided reading community puts the students as the center and the teacher the guide, embodying students' subjectivity, equality, and interactivity. The study shows that the interactive English reading community can motivate students to read, improve their reading skills, and thus develop a new SNS-aided English reading model for English learners.展开更多
