The problem is reduced to designing Hurwitz polynomials with real or complex coefficients. We show that by using Hurwitz polynomials with complex coefficients, a necessary and sufficient condition can be obtained for designing the consensus algorithm. Since the condition is both necessary and sufficient, we provide a kind of parametrization for all the weighting coefficients achieving consensus. Moreover, the condition is a natural extension to second order consensus, and is reasonable and practical due to its comparatively decreased computation burden. The result is also extended to the case where communication delay exists in the control input.展开更多

The pure-feedback systems of this paper are assum...Abstract--In this paper, an adaptive neural network (NN) control approach is proposed for nonlinear pure-feedback sys- tems with time-varying full state constraints. The pure-feedback systems of this paper are assumed to possess nonlinear function uncertainties. By using the mean value theorem, pure-feedback systems can be transformed into strict feedback forms. For the newly generated systems, NNs are employed to approximate unknown items. Based on the adaptive control scheme and backstepping algorithm, an intelligent controller is designed. At the same time, time-varying Barrier Lyapunov functions (BLFs) with error variables are adopted to avoid violating full state constraints in every step of the backstepping design. All closed- loop signals are uniformly ultimately bounded and the output tracking error converges to the neighborhood of zero, which can be verified by using the Lyapunov stability theorem. Two simulation examples reveal the performance of the adaptive NN control approach. If a networked control system(NCS) with network induced delays and packet dropouts(NIDs & PDs) is recast as a switched delay system, it is imperative to consider the effects of mixed-modes in the stability analysis for an NCS. In this paper, with the help of the interpolatory quadrature formula and the average dwell time method, stabilization of NCSs using a mixed-mode based switched delay system method is investigated based on a novel constructed Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional. With the Finsler's lemma, new exponential stabilizability conditions with less conservativeness are given for the NCS. Finally, an illustrative example is provided to verify the effectiveness of the developed results.展开更多

Virtual environments, however, tend not to make this information available. The sparse number of applications that present additional information furthermore tend to limit their scope to pure construction information and do not incorporate information from loosely related knowledge domains, such as cultural heritage or architectural history information. We therefore started an investigation of two of the newest developments in these domains, namely game engine technology and semantic web technology. This paper documents part of this research, containing a review and comparison of the most prominent game engines and documenting our architectural semantic web. A short test-case illustrates how both can be combined to enhance information visualization for architectural design and construction.展开更多

The complex relationship between structural connectivity(SC) and functional connectivity(FC) of human brain networks is still a critical problem in neuroscience. In order to investigate the role of SC in shaping resti...The complex relationship between structural connectivity(SC) and functional connectivity(FC) of human brain networks is still a critical problem in neuroscience. In order to investigate the role of SC in shaping resting-state FC, numerous models have been proposed. Here, we use a simple dynamic model based on the susceptible-infected-susceptible(SIS) model along the shortest paths to predict FC from SC. Unlike the previous dynamic model based on SIS theory, we focus on the shortest paths as the principal routes to transmit signals rather than the empirical structural brain network. We first simplify the structurally connected network into an efficient propagation network according to the shortest paths and then combine SIS infection theory with the efficient network to simulate the dynamic process of human brain activity. Finally, we perform an extensive comparison study between the dynamic models embedded in the efficient network, the dynamic model embedded in the structurally connected network and dynamic mean field(DMF) model predicting FC from SC. Extensive experiments on two different resolution datasets indicate that i) the dynamic model simulated on the shortest paths can predict FC among both structurally connected and unconnected node pairs; ii) though there are fewer links in the efficient propagation network, the predictive power of FC derived from the efficient propagation network is better than the dynamic model simulated on a structural brain network; iii) in comparison with the DMF model,the dynamic model embedded in the shortest paths is found to perform better to predict FC.展开更多

In order to improve it, a novel method via T-S cloud inference network optimized by genetic algorithm(GA) is proposed. T-S cloud inference network is constructed with T-S fuzzy neural network and the cloud model. So, the rapid of fuzzy logic and the uncertainty of cloud model for processing data are both taken into account. What's more, GA possesses good parallel design structure and global optimization characteristics. Compared with the simulation recognition results of traditional BP Algorithm, GA is more accurate and effective. Moreover, virtual reality technology is introduced into the field of shape control by Lab VIEW, MATLAB mixed programming. And virtual flatness pattern recognition interface is designed.Therefore, the data of engineering analysis and the actual model are combined with each other, and the shape defects could be seen more lively and intuitively.展开更多

To model the discrete and continuous parts of a complex semiconductor wafer fabrication flow, the HPNs were introduced into the EKHPNs. Object-oriented methods were combined into the EKHPNs for coping with the complexity of the fabrication flow. Knowledge anno- tations were introduced to solve input and output conflicts of the EKHPNs. Finally, to demonstrate the validity of the EKHPN method, a real semiconductor wafer fabrication case was used to illustrate the model- ing procedure. The modeling results indicate that the proposed method can be used to model a complex semiconductor wafer fabrication flow expediently.展开更多

On this basis, this paper uses the graph partitioning theory to build the fog computing's load balancing algorithm based on dynamic graph partitioning. The simulation results show that the framework of the fog computing after Cloud Atomization can build the system network flexibly, and dynamic load balancing mechanism can effectively configure system resources as well as reducing the consumption of node migration brought by system changes.展开更多

The color-sensitive graph power control schemes in OFDM-based multi-hop coloring (CSGC) model is viewed as an efficient solution to the spectrum assignment problem. The model is extended to combine with the power con- trol strategy to avoid interference among secondary users and adapt dynamic topology. The optimiza- tion problem is formulated encompassing the channel allocation and power control with the interfer- ence constrained below a tolerable limit. Meanwhile, the proposed resource allocation scheme takes the fairness of secondary users into account in obtaining the solution of optimization. Numerical re- suits show that the proposed strategy outperforms the existing spectrum assignment algorithms on the performance of both the network throughput and minimum route bandwidth of all routes, as well as the number of connected multi-hop routes which implies the fairness among secondary users.展开更多

Thus when Io T applications meet heterogeneous networks(HetNets) where macro cells are overlaid with small cells, some traditional problems need rethinking. In this paper, we investigate the delay-addressed association problem in two-tier Het Nets considering different backhaul technologies. Specifically, millimeter wave and fiber links are used to provide high-capacity backhaul for small cells. We first formulate the user association problem to minimize the total delay which depends on the probability of successful transmission, the number of user terminals(UTs), and the number of base stations(BSs). And then two algorithms for active mode and mixed mode are proposed to minimize the network delay. Simulation results show that algorithms based on mutual selection between UTs and BSs have better performance than those based on distance. And algorithms for mixed modes have less delay than those for active mode when the number of BSs is large enough, compared to the number of UTs.展开更多

The performances of the LS-SVMs were compared to the corresponding models obtained with radial basis function (RBF) neural networks. Driven by ZTE and other telecom vendors and operators in order to meet the ever increasing bandwidth demand from fixed optical network users and mobile backhaul/fronthaul services, the latest next generation passive o...Driven by ZTE and other telecom vendors and operators in order to meet the ever increasing bandwidth demand from fixed optical network users and mobile backhaul/fronthaul services, the latest next generation passive optical network (NG- PON2) is being standardized by Full Service Access Network (FSAN) and International Telecommunication Union (ITU-T) which consists of two separated sub-systems, hybrid time- and wavelength-division multiplexing PON (TWDM-PON) and point-to-point wavelength- division multiplex (PtP WDM). The TWDM-PON will be used for traditional residential, business and wireless backhaul services which are not sensitive to time delay and delay variation, whereas the PtP WDM is mainly used for emerging wireless fronthaul service which is very sensitive to the time delay and time delay variation. However, as a main international standards' contributor, ZTE thinks for those operators who offer multiple-level of services to both residential, business and mobile backhaul/fronthaul users, this obviously raises significant economic and power concerns by demanding to deploy two separated systems. Therefore, in this paper, for the first time, ZTE proposes a new converged optical and wireless integrated network architecture and topology by applying orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM) PON technology, which is able to simultaneously support residential, business and mobile backhaul/fronthaul services in terms of meeting the requirements of both time delay sensitive and non-sensitive services, and also address the economic and power concerns compared with conventional technologies. This architecture is further investigated and analyzed in depth on functional block, Quality-of-service (QoS), synchronization and deployment considerations. Also ZTE reports in this paper the first 40Gbps OFDM- PON prototype in which eight wavelengths each with 5Gbps Ethernet data via 10G-PON encapsulation method (X-GEM) and 10G-PON transmission convergence (X-GTC) framing are demonstrated.展开更多

文摘A new superstructure model of heat exchanger networks (HEN) with streamsplits based on rangers of streams supply temperatures and heat capacity flow rates is presented.The simultaneous optimal mathematical model of flexible HEN synthesis is established too. Firstly,the streams with rangers of supply temperatures and/or the streams with the rangers of heat capacityflow rates are pretreated; Secondly, several rules are proposed to establish the superstructuremodel of HEN with splits and the simultaneous optimal mathematical model of flexible HEN; Thirdly,the improving genetic algorithm is applied to solve the mathematical model established at the secondstep effectively, and the original optimal structure of HEN based on the maximum operation limitingcondition can be obtained easily; Finally, the rules of heat exchange unit merged and the heat loadof heat exchanger relaxed are presented, the flexible configuration of HEN satisfied the operationcondition between the upper and down bounds of supply temperature and heat capacity flow rates canbe obtained based on the original optimal structure of HEN by means of these rules. A case studydemonstrates the method presented in this paper is effective

文摘A modeling method of extended knowledge hybrid Petri nets (EKHPNs), incorporating object-oriented methods into hybrid Petri nets (HPNs), was presented and used for the representation ~d modeling of semiconductor wafer fabrication flows. To model the discrete and continuous parts of a complex semiconductor wafer fabrication flow, the HPNs were introduced into the EKHPNs. Object-oriented methods were combined into the EKHPNs for coping with the complexity of the fabrication flow. Knowledge anno- tations were introduced to solve input and output conflicts of the EKHPNs. Finally, to demonstrate the validity of the EKHPN method, a real semiconductor wafer fabrication case was used to illustrate the model- ing procedure. The modeling results indicate that the proposed method can be used to model a complex semiconductor wafer fabrication flow expediently.

文摘Because of cloud computing's high degree of polymerization calculation mode, it can't give full play to the resources of the edge device such as computing, storage, etc. Fog computing can improve the resource utilization efficiency of the edge device, and solve the problem about service computing of the delay-sensitive applications. This paper researches on the framework of the fog computing, and adopts Cloud Atomization Technology to turn physical nodes in different levels into virtual machine nodes. On this basis, this paper uses the graph partitioning theory to build the fog computing's load balancing algorithm based on dynamic graph partitioning. The simulation results show that the framework of the fog computing after Cloud Atomization can build the system network flexibly, and dynamic load balancing mechanism can effectively configure system resources as well as reducing the consumption of node migration brought by system changes.

文摘This paper investigates channel allocation and cognitive radio networks. The color-sensitive graph power control schemes in OFDM-based multi-hop coloring (CSGC) model is viewed as an efficient solution to the spectrum assignment problem. The model is extended to combine with the power con- trol strategy to avoid interference among secondary users and adapt dynamic topology. The optimiza- tion problem is formulated encompassing the channel allocation and power control with the interfer- ence constrained below a tolerable limit. Meanwhile, the proposed resource allocation scheme takes the fairness of secondary users into account in obtaining the solution of optimization. Numerical re- suits show that the proposed strategy outperforms the existing spectrum assignment algorithms on the performance of both the network throughput and minimum route bandwidth of all routes, as well as the number of connected multi-hop routes which implies the fairness among secondary users.

文摘The Internet of things(IoT) as an important application of future communication networks puts a high premium on delay issues. Thus when Io T applications meet heterogeneous networks(HetNets) where macro cells are overlaid with small cells, some traditional problems need rethinking. In this paper, we investigate the delay-addressed association problem in two-tier Het Nets considering different backhaul technologies. Specifically, millimeter wave and fiber links are used to provide high-capacity backhaul for small cells. We first formulate the user association problem to minimize the total delay which depends on the probability of successful transmission, the number of user terminals(UTs), and the number of base stations(BSs). And then two algorithms for active mode and mixed mode are proposed to minimize the network delay. Simulation results show that algorithms based on mutual selection between UTs and BSs have better performance than those based on distance. And algorithms for mixed modes have less delay than those for active mode when the number of BSs is large enough, compared to the number of UTs.

文摘Least squares support vector machines (LS-SVMs), a nonlinear kemel based machine was introduced to investigate the prospects of application of this approach in modelling water vapor and carbon dioxide fluxes above a summer maize field using the dataset obtained in the North China Plain with eddy covariance technique. The performances of the LS-SVMs were compared to the corresponding models obtained with radial basis function (RBF) neural networks. The results indicated the trained LS-SVMs with a radial basis function kernel had satisfactory performance in modelling surface fluxes; its excellent approximation and generalization property shed new light on the study on complex processes in ecosystem.

文摘The overhead in iSCSI subsystems is analyzed through the model of iSCSI reading and writing requests. An analytic model of iSCSI subsystem overhead is developed. According to the analytic model, the overhead of iSCSI subsystems is measured, which reveals that the main overhead is caused by protocol processing as well as kernel functions for fair allocation of system resources. Several methods have been proposed to optimize iSCSI subsystems, such as small I/O requests adherent that can be merged into a large I/O request. Checksum is found to be a time consuming work and may not be always necessary for applications.

文摘Driven by ZTE and other telecom vendors and operators in order to meet the ever increasing bandwidth demand from fixed optical network users and mobile backhaul/fronthaul services, the latest next generation passive optical network (NG- PON2) is being standardized by Full Service Access Network (FSAN) and International Telecommunication Union (ITU-T) which consists of two separated sub-systems, hybrid time- and wavelength-division multiplexing PON (TWDM-PON) and point-to-point wavelength- division multiplex (PtP WDM). The TWDM-PON will be used for traditional residential, business and wireless backhaul services which are not sensitive to time delay and delay variation, whereas the PtP WDM is mainly used for emerging wireless fronthaul service which is very sensitive to the time delay and time delay variation. However, as a main international standards' contributor, ZTE thinks for those operators who offer multiple-level of services to both residential, business and mobile backhaul/fronthaul users, this obviously raises significant economic and power concerns by demanding to deploy two separated systems. Therefore, in this paper, for the first time, ZTE proposes a new converged optical and wireless integrated network architecture and topology by applying orthogonal frequency division multiplexing(OFDM) PON technology, which is able to simultaneously support residential, business and mobile backhaul/fronthaul services in terms of meeting the requirements of both time delay sensitive and non-sensitive services, and also address the economic and power concerns compared with conventional technologies. This architecture is further investigated and analyzed in depth on functional block, Quality-of-service (QoS), synchronization and deployment considerations. Also ZTE reports in this paper the first 40Gbps OFDM- PON prototype in which eight wavelengths each with 5Gbps Ethernet data via 10G-PON encapsulation method (X-GEM) and 10G-PON transmission convergence (X-GTC) framing are demonstrated.
