For two phase flow measurement, various charac... A slotted orifice has many superiorities over a standard orifice. For single-phase flow measurement, its flow coefficient is insensitive to the upstream velocity profile. For two phase flow measurement, various characteristics of its differential pressure (DP) are stable and closely correlated with the mass flow rate of gas and liquid. The complex relationships between the signal features and the two-phase flow rate are established through the use of a back propagation (BP) neural network. Experiments were carried out in the horizontal tubes with 50ram inner diameter, ooerated with water flow rate in the range of 0.2m^3·h^-1 to 4m3·h^-1, gas flow rate in the range of 100m^3·h^-1 to 1000m^3·h^-1, and pressure at 400kPa and 850kPa respectively, where the temperature is ambient temperature. This article includes the principle of wet gas meter development, the experimental matrix, the signal processing techniques and the achieved results. On the basis of the results it is suggested that the slotted orifice couple with a trained neural network may provide a simple but efficient solution to the wet gas meter development. 展开更多

Based on patent cooperation data,this study used a range of city network analysis approaches in order to explore the structure of the Chinese city network which is driven by technological knowledge flows.The results revealed the spatial structure,composition structure,hierarchical structure,group structure,and control structure of Chinese city network,as well as its dynamic factors.The major findings are:1) the spatial pattern presents a diamond structure,in which Wuhan is the central city;2) although the invention patent knowledge network is the main part of the broader inter-city innovative cooperation network,it is weaker than the utility model patent;3) as the senior level cities,Beijing,Shanghai and the cities in the Zhujiang(Pearl) River Delta Region show a strong capability of both spreading and controlling technological knowledge;4) whilst a national technology alliance has preliminarily formed,regional alliances have not been adequately established;5) even though the cooperation level amongst weak connection cities is not high,such cities still play an important role in the network as a result of their location within ′structural holes′ in the network;and 6) the major driving forces facilitating inter-city technological cooperation are geographical proximity,hierarchical proximity and technological proximity. 展开更多

Network traffic classification plays an important role and benefits many practical network issues,such as Next-Generation Firewalls(NGFW),Quality of Service(QoS),etc.To face the challenges brought by modern high speed networks,many inspiring solutions have been proposed to enhance traffic classification.However,taking many factual network conditions into consideration,e.g.,diversity of network environment,traffic classification methods based on Deep Inspection(DI) technique still occupy the top spot in actual usage.In this paper,we propose a novel classification system employing Deep Inspection technique,aiming to achieve Parallel Protocol Parsing(PPP).We start with an analytical study of the existing popular DI methods,namely,regular expression based methods and protocol parsing based methods.Motivated by their relative merits,we extend traditional protocol parsers to achieve parallel matching,which is the representative merit of regular expression.We build a prototype system,and evaluation results show that significant improvement has been made comparing to existing open-source solutions in terms of both memory usage and throughput. 展开更多

A new superstructure model of heat exchanger networks (HEN) with streamsplits based on rangers of streams supply temperatures and heat capacity flow rates is presented.The simultaneous optimal mathematical model of flexible HEN synthesis is established too. Firstly,the streams with rangers of supply temperatures and/or the streams with the rangers of heat capacityflow rates are pretreated; Secondly, several rules are proposed to establish the superstructuremodel of HEN with splits and the simultaneous optimal mathematical model of flexible HEN; Thirdly,the improving genetic algorithm is applied to solve the mathematical model established at the secondstep effectively, and the original optimal structure of HEN based on the maximum operation limitingcondition can be obtained easily; Finally, the rules of heat exchange unit merged and the heat loadof heat exchanger relaxed are presented, the flexible configuration of HEN satisfied the operationcondition between the upper and down bounds of supply temperature and heat capacity flow rates canbe obtained based on the original optimal structure of HEN by means of these rules. Through the design and implementation of computer network traffic monitoring system based on C/S mode to achieve automatic control, maintenance, and monitor network traffic, which is suitable for the current engineering software to monitor a network application environment. A traffic matrix is a necessary parameter fornetwork management functions,and itsupplies a flow-level view of a largescale IP-over-WDM backbone network.This paper studies the problem of traffic matrix estimationand proposes an exact traffic matrix estimation approach based on network tomography techniques.The traditional network tomography model is extended to make it compatible with compressive sensing constraints.First,a stochastic perturbation is introduced in the traditional network tomography inference model.Then,an algorithm is proposed to achieve additional optical link observations via optical bypass techniques.The obtained optical link observations are used as extensions for the perturbed network tomography model to ensure that the synthetic model can meetcompressive sensing constraints.Finally,the traffic matrix is estimated from the synthetic model by means of a compressive sensing recovery algorithm. 展开更多
