对构建网络语言学的几点思考

国外对网络语言生活的研究,始于20世纪末计算机专家对网络术语和网络用语的考察。其后,沿着网络语言学(以语言本体研究为主)、计算机辅助交际、语言政策导向3个源流向前发展。移动互联使网络空间更加独立化和实体化,催生了更多丰富的议... 国外对网络语言生活的研究,始于20世纪末计算机专家对网络术语和网络用语的考察。其后,沿着网络语言学(以语言本体研究为主)、计算机辅助交际、语言政策导向3个源流向前发展。移动互联使网络空间更加独立化和实体化,催生了更多丰富的议题。主要议题有:线上语言教育研究、网络语言学发展中的语言本体研究、基于互联网交际的语言问题研究、语言政策导向的网络语言生活研究。整体来看,国外网络语言生活研究呈现出以下特点:维度多样化、视野国际化、语言政策理论与应用增多。其研究不足包括对发展中国家网络空间的语言问题关注不够,缺乏语言生活观的指引。国内网络语言生活研究应加强与国外学界的沟通和学习,包括制定网络语言生活的相关国际标准,多传播中国声音,加强语言生活观的国际传播及其在网络语言生活研究中的应用,推动语言生活派网络语言生活相关研究的国际出版。 展开更多

网络热词是不稳定的,有些很快就会失去热度再无人问津;而有些却能逐渐渗透到网络世界之外,甚至被规范字典收录。为深入探究影响网络热词生命力的因素,本文借助部分网络热词的百度指数图像,结合网络热词本身形态、情感以及来源三个方面... 网络热词是不稳定的,有些很快就会失去热度再无人问津;而有些却能逐渐渗透到网络世界之外,甚至被规范字典收录。为深入探究影响网络热词生命力的因素,本文借助部分网络热词的百度指数图像,结合网络热词本身形态、情感以及来源三个方面的特点进行了研究。本文认为,感情色彩积极或者不积极但符合日常生活情境的两类网络流行语具有较强的生命力。网络流行语的感情色彩由非积极转变为积极,其生命力会增强。这两个结论将有利于官方媒体在网络热词的使用和传播中起到引导和规范的作用,构建更加积极正向的网络语言环境。 展开更多

The present study employed a quantitative and network approach to detect alignment effects in second language(L2) continuation tasks designed on the xu-argument(Wang, 2016). The materials used in this study were 6 sub-corpora consisting of two selected input stories and two groups of L2 written production based on two continuation tasks. During continuation, the participants were required to continue in English a story with its ending removed, with one group reading and continuing the Chinese version and the other group the English version, and then switching their roles in the two tasks. Results show that the alignment effect differs across the two versions of continuation. Specifically, compared with the Chinese-version continuation, L2 learners produced more use of unigrams and bigrams similar to the input story in terms of lexical items, frequency and ranking correlations in the English-version task;on the other hand, the English-version continuation can facilitate generating linguistic networks that are much closer to the native English networks. Moreover, this research corroborates that written production in L2 continuation tasks can be influenced by input content. 展开更多

Based on the real... Web-based education has been enjoying greater popularity because of its undeniable advantages. It has been seen as a panacea by more and more people in educational field, including language teaching. Based on the realization of the great potential brought by the development of technology, some viewpoints about the relationship among technology, teaching and pedagogy are put forward: firstly, technology is a tool, not a strategy; secondly, pedagogical concerns and theory should drive the way technology is used in education, not the other way around; thirdly, what matters more than technology is how the technology is used for learning, and how it is integrated into the daily classroom scheme so that active engagement in acquisition-oriented work take place; and finally, the change of learning environment inevitably calls for parallel changes in teaching and learning procedures. Available technologies can greatly enhance both student-teacher and student-student interaction and can afford students increased opportunities for self directed learning. To be most effective, technology must be used to support well-planned curricular goals and should involve carefully designed activities providing students with meaningful educational experiences. 展开更多

Drawing on cognitive linguistic theories, this study investigates the various meanings of the Chinese verb 吃(chi) and the types of objects that it takes. It is concluded that the many meanings of吃 are organized in a radial network, with the primary meaning at the center and extended meanings at the periphery and that extended meanings are derived from, and thus can be traced back to, the primary meaning. This study also suggests that the productivity of the 吃 + object construction is affected by the meaning of 吃, the interpretation of its objects, as well as social and linguistic convention. 展开更多
