It is the image method that has undergone much research in seismology...Based on perturbation theory, the wave equation extrapolation operator with mixed domains has the ability to deal with lateral velocity variations. It is the image method that has undergone much research in seismology. All extrapolation operators face the problem of choosing the reference velocity due to continuation in depth. The wavefield extrapolation operator with a single reference velocity is suitable for media with weak lateral variation. The multi-reference velocity extrapolation operator can cope with severe lateral velocity variations and improve image accuracy. However, the calculation cost is large. We present a self-adaptive approach to automatically determine the number of selected reference velocities according to the complexity of structure and the given velocity threshold value. The approach can be used to construct the SSF, FFD, WXFD, and GSP multi-reference velocity wavefield extrapolation image algorithms. The result of a salt-dome model data test demonstrates that the self-adoptive multi-reference wavefield extrapolation algorithm has the ability to deal with severe lateral velocity variations and can also be used for structure edge detection. The method is flexible and computationally cost-effective.展开更多

The adaptive filter has six states with a time variable transition matrix. When the system is in the non-acceleration mode, the accelerometer measurements of the gravity and the compass measurements of the heading have observability and yield good eslimates of the states. When the system is in the high dynamic mode and the bias has converged to an aceurate estimate, the attitude caleulation will be maintained for a long interval of time. This paper presents a design of optimal controllers with respect to a meaningful cost function to force an underactuated omni-directional intelligent navigator (ODIN) under unknown constant environmental loads to tr...This paper presents a design of optimal controllers with respect to a meaningful cost function to force an underactuated omni-directional intelligent navigator (ODIN) under unknown constant environmental loads to track a reference trajectory in two-dimensional space. Motivated by the vehicle's steering practice, the yaw angle regarded as a virtual control plus the surge thrust force are used to force the position of the vehicle to globally track its reference trajectory. The control design is based on several recent results developed for inverse optimal control and stability analysis of nonlinear systems, a new design of bounded disturbance observers, and backstepping and Lyapunov's direct methods. Both state- and output-feedback control designs are addressed. Simulations are included to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed results.展开更多
