内河限制性航道护岸工程BIM正向设计方法研究

针对内河限制性航道护岸工程传统二维设计精细度不高,设计效率低下等问题,本文基于Civil3D开展内河限制性航道护岸工程BIM正向设计研究,包括三维地形曲面建立、护岸要素线确定、参数化横断面设计、护岸模型建立等内容,并基于Civil3D进行二次开发,实现护岸基础结构批量快速建模、护岸结构工程量快速提取、模型出图,可有效提高设计效率,为护岸工程正向设计提供思路。研究成果在浙北某内河限制性航道工程进行了应用验证,可为内河限制性航道工程BIM技术应用提供借鉴。

我们集团近几年实行了财务部长下管一级的管理办法,由集团委派下属企业财务部长,首先从组织体制上确保了下属企业财务部长的独立性。同时通过制定《二级企业财务部长重大事项报告制度》,明确了下属企业财务部长的职权责任,需要向集团公司汇报的事项和具体要求,使企业的财务运作和监督职能得到一定的保证。但由于工资奖金的改革未能同步进行,还全部由下属企业发放。

A Cross-Reference Method for Nonlinear Time Series Analysis in Semi-Blind Case

In this paper, we propose a cross reference method for nonlinear time series analyzing in semi blind case, that is, the dynamic equations modeling the time series are known but the corresponding parameters are not. The tasks of noise reduction and parameter estimation which were fulfilled separately before are combined iteratively. With the positive interaction between the two processing modules, the method is somewhat superior. Some prior work can be viewed as special cases of this general framework. The simulations for noise reduction and parameter estimation of contaminated chaotic time series show improved performance of our method compared with previous work.

Population survey and conservation assessment of the globally threa- tened cheer pheasant （Catreus wallicht） in Jhelum Valley, Azad Kas- hmir, Pakistan

The cheer pheasant Catreus wallichi is a globally threatened species that inhabits the western Himalayas. Though it is well established that the species is threatened and its numbers declining, updated definitive estimates are lacking, so in 2011, we conducted a survey to assess the density, population size, and threats to the species in Jhelum valley, Azad Kashmir, which holds the largest known population of cheer pheasants in Pakistan. We conducted dawn call count surveys at 17 points clustered in three survey zones of the valley, 11 of which had earlier been used for a 2002-2003 survey of the birds. Over the course of our survey, 113 birds were recorded. Mean density of cheer pheasant in the valley was estimated at 11.8±6.47 pairs per km2, with significant differences in terms of both counts and estimated density of cheer were significantly different across the three survey zones, with the highest in the Chinari region and the lowest, that is the area with no recorded sightings of the pheasants, in Gari Doppata. The total breeding population of cheer pheasants is estimated to be some 2 490 pairs, though this does not consider the actual area of occupancy in the study area. On the whole, more cheer pheasants were recorded in this survey than from the same points in 2002-2003, indicating some success in population growth. Unfortunately, increasing human settlement, fires, livestock grazing, hunting, and the collection of non-timber forest products continue to threaten the population of cheer in the Jhelum valley. To mitigate these potential impacts, some degree of site protection should be required for the conservation of cheer pheasants in Pakistan, and more effective monitoring of the species is clearly needed.

Favela’s Houses as Design Reference： Using Shape Grammar

Shape grammar has been used by many researchers to identify and/or define languages in architectural design. This paper presents a methodology developed using shape grammar to analyze the informal city, specifically Favela da Rocinha’s buildings, in Rio de Janeiro. The goal was finding the organizational foundations of self-built houses in an informal settlement. A methodology was developed to find composition patterns and to infer a set of rules which defines a shape grammar of Rocinha houses, allowing synthesis and analysis of low cost solutions for house designs. And above all, it highlights underlying design solutions produced empirically by inhabitants of favelas, emphasizing the diversity in favela’s architecture, and, that is also able to reflect the particular necessities of targeted population.

Composite iterative learning controller design for gradually varying references with applications in an AFM system

Learning control for gradually varying references in iteration domain was considered in this research, and a composite iterative learning control strategy was proposed to enable a plant to track unknown iteration-dependent trajectories. Specifically, by decoupling the current reference into the desired trajectory of the last trial and a disturbance signal with small magnitude, the learning and feedback parts were designed respectively to ensure fine tracking performance. After some theoretical analysis, the judging condition on whether the composite iterative learning control approach achieves better control results than pure feedback contro! was obtained for varying references. The convergence property of the closed-loop system was rigorously studied and the saturation problem was also addressed in the controller. The designed composite iterative learning control strategy is successfully employed in an atomic force microscope system, with both simulation and experimental results clearly demonstrating its superior performance.

Designing a Comprehensive Skill Evaluation and Vocational Ability Development Program for FTTH Installer

Recently, FTTH （fiber to the home） is spreading rapidly, and communication technology has become an indispensable part in our lives. FTTH installers who build the infi＇astructure must correspond to the progress of technology while ensuring a high quality of installation, and it is struggling to its counterpart. The present study is undertaken in order to propose effective vocational ability development program for FTTH installers from the approach of their skill. They are information network cabling-related qualification system and competitions as the ability evaluation system. Then the author concludes that this program makes a contribution to improving their skill and maintaining the quality of the optical fiber network in analyzing some example of actual installation work and the measurement result of the OTDR（optical time domain reflect） meter.

Research on the paperless test based on the computer elementary course

Compared with the traditional examinations, the paperless examination of the computer elementary course can not only realize the assessment of the theoretical knowledge, but also can carry out the assessment of the actual operations of some of the operational computer subjects, which can make it more comprehensive. Through the computer evaluation, we can make the results consistent, and get rid of the human interference as far as possible, and thus it can prevent the emergence of the human errors, to ensure fairness and justice of the tests. This issue is analyzed and discussed in the following.

Reviewing Design References with Diagrams： A Metropolitan Performance Assessment Perspective

The announcement of major sporting events scheduled to take place in Rio de Janeiro in the coming years is now producing several radical urban transformations that are attracting the attention of renowned architects of the international circuit. All this is happening in a city where relevant architectural references have not been produced for a long while because of the prolonged economic crisis of the past. Despite these conditions, people were able to detect “invisible” design lessons to be learned in this city by sharing perceptual experiences with foreign observers who are, by definition, unaware of their preconceptions. This paper deals with the development of a strategy for re-presenting design references that are locally rooted and accessible for direct embodied experience. The strategy put forward a MPI （metropolitan performance index） drawn out from a bibliographical survey coupled with analytical spatial diagrams of different case-studies presented as a tour guide for the recognition of the architecture produced in Rio de Janeiro. It is believed that this strategy can favor the adoption of an eye attuned to contemporary theories especially interested in the spatial and programmatic concerns that today instigate the designer.

Undergraduate nursing education in the United States

Nursing education in the United States began in the 1870s with hospital training schools modeled after the Nightingale plan. Presently there are three educational paths that students may take to become a registered nurse （RN）. These are the baccalaureate degree （BS）, the associate degree （AD） and the diploma. Accelerated nursing programs are also available for people who have a baccalaureate degree in another field. Nursing education and nursing practice in the United States is regulated by each of the 50 states. The focus of nursing education is the preparation of nurses who use critical thinking skills to provide comprehensive patient-centered care to a variety of clients. It is expected that nurses will function using evidence-based practice in a culturally competent, safe manner. Nursing schools must be approved by the state in which they exist. In addition to this, most nursing schools are also accredited, a voluntary process that is done by a non-governmental association. All graduates take the same licensing exam, a computer adaptive test that is from 75 to 265 items long educated graduates were first time test takers; 85.5% passed the exam. Trends in nursing education In 2008 almost 120,000 US include a focus on evidence based practice, an emphasis on safety and quality, patient education and management of chronic conditions, genetics and genomics and the use of simulation in nursing education

The Domino Effect

A row of dominoes which stand on edge will undergo a cascade when the first domino is tipped. First domino strokes the next and the wave of falling dominoes propagates. The purpose of this work is to investigate wave speed dependence on various domino parameters as the number of elements and the distance between dominoes and their dimensions. Theoretical examination of falling dominoes process is to create the mathematical model of the process and compare between the calculations and experimental results. An experiment with using of the speed camera was made. The dominoes of three different types of material were used. For theoretical investigation of the problem, the model [1] was used. The program for computer calculations was written. Time of a dominoes row falling was calculated without taking friction between neighbours. The calculation results show that the speed of falling dominoes reaches its constant value. This stable velocity depends on the geometric parameters of dominoes and the surface friction between dominoes but does not depend on the mass of dominoes.

Performance on the 2011 Certified Public Accountant （CPA） Examination for Large, Middle, and Small Historically Black Colleges and Universities （HBCUs）

There are over 100 historically black colleges and universities （HBCUs） in the United States. The majority of these HBCUs are located in the southeast section of the United States. HBCUs are a major supplier of certified public accountants （CPAs） to the profession. Therefore, the performance of candidates from HBCUs should be of interest to various constituents including educators, employers, parents, students, and other stakeholders. The purpose of this paper is to provide statistical performance on the 2011 CPA examination for large, middle, and small HBCUs based upon the number of testing events taken. Taking a testing event is not the same as passing a testing event. This was the dichotomy between quantity and quality of HBCUs＇ performances. For large HBCUs, Morehouse University, North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University （NC A＆T）, and Tennessee State University （TSU） were cited. For middle HBCUs, Albany State University, Norfolk State University （NSU）, and North Carolina Central University （NCCU） were cited. For small HBCUs, Alcorn State University, Fisk University, and University of Maryland Eastern Shore （UMES） were cited. The dichotomy between quantity and quality is real.

Have the Private Benefits in Italian Firms Decreased？

The topic of the paper is the estimate of the benefit of control, according to the Barclay and Holderness method. The reference system of this research is Italy, given that the empirical evidence of the past which had underlined private benefits particularly high among Italian companies and the reference period is 1999-2007. The idea of this research is to demonstrate that, since the Legislative Decree No. 58 of February 24, 1998 （Consolidated Law on Finance, henceforth Consolidated Law）, which has significantly changed the protection of minority shareholders, in Italian, the intensity of private benefits has on average declined sharply. To this end, considering the results of the empirical researches on periods pre-1998 and at the turn of the Consolidated Law, the paper provides evidence that the improvement of minority shareholder protection already shown by these researches is further accentuated over the years, because of the effects that the new regulatory framework has produced. In fact, the basic assumption is that the important laws, as Consolidate Law, require several years to produce the desired results in full. This idea is supported by the findings of research that show an average percentage of private benefits dropped to five percent of the capital. Hence, the investigation is extended to the demonstration of comparability of this estimation with other estimations quoted in literature, verifying the statistical significance of the correlations between the measures estimated and the variables considered as determinants in much of the literature.

Numerical method for estimation of kinematical parameters for articulated rovers on loose rough terrain

Based on the study of passive articulated rover,a complete suspension kinematics model from wheel to inertial reference frame is presented,which uses D-H method of manipulator and presentation with Euler angle of pitch,roll and yaw.An improved contact model is adopted aimed at the loose and rough lunar terrain.Using this kinematics model and numerical continuous and discrete Newton's method with iterative factor,the numerical method for estimation of kinematical parameters of articulated rovers on loose and rough terrain is constructed.To demonstrate this numerical method,an example of two torsion bar rocker-bogie lunar rover with eight wheels is presented.Simulation results show that the numerical method for estimation of kinematical parameters of articulated rovers based on improved contact model can improve the precision of kinematical estimation on loose and rough terrain and decrease errors caused by contact models established based on general hypothesis.

The Executive and the Environment： An Examination of the Antiquities Act （1929-2000）

An ongoing debate exists amongst scholars studying presidential unilateral powers. Some scholars argue presidents use directives to circumvent Congress （Nathan, 1983; Deering ＆ Maltzman, 1999; Cooper, 2002）, while other scholars argue that presidents use them to enhance their policy in conjunction with Congress in times of strong congressional support （Shull ＆ Gomez, 1997; Krause ＆ Cohen, 1997）. This study applies the same theoretical debate to another presidential unilateral power, monument proclamations. The author argued that presidents strategically issue monument proclamations when they face a hostile political environment and have lost their power of persuasion. The author examined presidential monument proclamations from 1929-2000 using an event-count model. The study shows that presidents are more inclined to use monumental proclamations when they are politically weak especially during their lame duck months when they have the least political power and influence.

Design and Implementation of Speaking English Exam System Based on C/S

This paper analyzes current status of teachers＇ speaking test, applies presently mature C/S system structure and oilers a network way for teachers＇ speaking exam. We provide the whole process of design and development in online speaking exam, illustrate several functional designs including item bank construction, auto-generating examination paper and test paper analysis and discuss various network programming development technology during teachers＇ speaking network examination intensively. Directed by software engineering theory, the system is finally designed and realized through feasible research, requirement analysis, general design, detailed design, and tests with popular system development language and powerful database management.

The Rush to IFRS： Practice Vs Academe, Is the Need to Change the CPA Exam Genuine？

In October 2010, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants [AICPA] announced that the CPA （Certified Public Accountant） examination would be changed to include International Financial Reporting Standards （IFRS）. A reason given for this change was the supposed importance given to IFRS knowledge in the latest practice analysis. This paper examines this practice analysis as well as a review by graduate students of some accounting textbooks. The conclusion given by the students, other academic research and the practice analysis is that US is not prepared to immediately make this change.

POWERFUL TESTS,POWERLESS TEST DESIGNERS?——CHALLENGES FACING THE COLLEGE ENGLISH TEST

随着语言测试界对考试效度概念的逐步延伸和拓展,对考试后效研究的不断深入,语言测试工作者越来越深刻地体会到:大规模考试所承载的社会风险越高,考试设计者在考试使用问题上就越没有发言权。大学英语四、六级考试二十多年的发展历程印证了考试设计者所面临的这一困惑。本文在总结四、六级考试发展和改革的基础上,探讨考试设计者应如何应对高风险考试误用所带来的考试负面后效,以及所有考试相关责任人所应承担的社会责任。
