When the weak, shortr...Based on the Kubo formalism, the anomalous Hall effect in a magnetic two-dimensional hole gas with cubic-Rashba spin-orbit coupling is studied in the presence of δ-function scattering potential. When the weak, shortranged disorder scattering is considered in the Born approximation, we find that the self-energy becomes diagonal in the helicity basis and its value is independent of the wave number, and the vertex correction to the anomalous Hall conductivity due to impurity scattering vanishes when both subbands are occupied. That is to say, the anomalous Hall effect is not vanishing or influenced by the vertex correction for two-dimensional heavy-hole system, which is in sharp contrast to the case of linear-Rashba spin-orbit coupling in the electron band when the short-range disorder scattering is considered and the extrinsic mechanism as well as the effect of external electric field on the SO interaction are ignored.展开更多

Th...In this paper, superlattice patterns have been investigated by using a two linearly coupled Brusselator model. It is found that superlattice patterns can only be induced in the sub-system with the short wavelength. Three different coupling methods have been used in order to investigate the mode interaction between the two Turing modes. It is proved in the simulations that interaction between activators in the two sub-systems leads to spontaneous formation of black eye pattern and/or white eye patterns while interaction between inhibitors leads to spontaneous formation of super-hexagonal pattern. It is also demonstrated that the same symmetries of the two modes and suitable wavelength ratio of the two modes should also be satisfied to form superlattice patterns.展开更多

Moreover, the Hamiltonian forms is deduced for lattice equation in the resulting hierarchy by means of the discrete variational identity -- a generalized trace identity. So, it's impossible to have a quantitative analys...Under the inflammable or explosive environment, the direct measurement methods by opening up the explo- sion-proof shell of electrical installations were not adopted. So, it's impossible to have a quantitative analysis on the limit of conducted disturbance for electrical fast transient burst (EFT/B) in such dangerous environments. Transient conducted coupling model, which using EFT/B as its excitation source, can be built based on circuit and electromagnetic field theory. Furthermore, numerical analysis was performed. The results indicate that the capacitive coupling voltage is the same polarity as EFT/B, and is the main disturbance form of conducted coupling in mines. The inductive coupling voltage is reversed polarity with the ca- pacitive coupling voltage, and both peaks appear only in the rising time of EFT/B, which increase with the rising of load resistance. Moreover, the cable coupling voltage on the side of disturbance source is higher than the one on the other side in tunnel. To reduce the common resistance can suppress the resistive coupling disturbance.展开更多

The liquid domain was divided into several simp...The coupled vibration characteristics of multiple elastic annular baffles of the same inner radius in a partially liquid-filled rigid cylindrical container were studied. The liquid domain was divided into several simple sub-domains so that the liquid velocity potential in each liquid sub-domain was of class C 1 with continuous boundary conditions. Based on the superposition principle, the general solution of the liquid velocity potential corresponding to each liquid sub-domain was obtained by means of the method of separation of variables. The coupled modes of the multiple elastic annular baffles were expressed in terms of dry-modal functions. The free surface condition, the interface conditions and coupled vibration conditions were expressed in terms of Fourier series along the liquid height and Bessel series in the radial direction, respectively. Stable and fast numerical computations were investigated by the convergence study. Excellent agreements have been achieved in the comparison of re- suits obtained by the proposed approach with those given by the finite element software ADINA. The natural frequencies and mode shapes versus the position, the inner radius and the number of the annular baffles were thoroughly discussed.展开更多
