The coupled effect of viscosity enhancing admixtures(VEA)and superplasticizer(SP)on the rheological behavior of cement paste was investigated in this work.Two types of VEAs,including hydroxypropyl methylcellulose(HPMC...The coupled effect of viscosity enhancing admixtures(VEA)and superplasticizer(SP)on the rheological behavior of cement paste was investigated in this work.Two types of VEAs,including hydroxypropyl methylcellulose(HPMC)and Welan gum,and two types of SPs,i.e.polycarboxylate(PCA)and polynaphthalenesulfonate(PNS)were used as admixtures for cement paste.Rheological curves of cement paste and simulated pore solution containing VEA and SP were tested.Simulated pore solution test results show that molecules of different SPs may generate different effects on the viscosity of VEA solutions.Hershel-Bulkley(H-B)model was used to fit rheological curve of cement paste.Strong interaction between PNS and HPMC was observed in this work.展开更多

The proposed optical transceiver consumes 0.9 W power and retains a small size of 28 mmx16 mmx3 mm. The fabrication process of the silicon substrate and the assembly process of the optical transceiver are demonstrated in details. Moreover, the optical transceiver is measured in order to verify its transmission performance. The clear eye diagrams and the low bit error rate (BER) less than 1013 at 10 Gbit/s per channel show good transmission characteristics of the designed optical transceiver.展开更多
The ever-decreasing size of transistors requires effectively electrostatic control over ultra-thin semiconductor body.Rational design of the gate configuration can fully persevere the intrinsic property of two-dimensi...The ever-decreasing size of transistors requires effectively electrostatic control over ultra-thin semiconductor body.Rational design of the gate configuration can fully persevere the intrinsic property of two-dimensional(2 D)semiconductors.Here we design and demonstrate a 2 D Mo S_(2) transistor with omega-shaped gate,in which the local gate coupling is enhanced by the non-planar geometry.The omega-shaped non-planar transistors exhibit a high current of 0.89 A/lm and transconductance of32.7 l S/lm.The high performance and desirable current saturation promise the construction of robust logic gate.The inverters show a voltage gain of 26.6 and an ideal total margin nearly 89%.We also assemble NOT-AND(NAND)gate on an individual Mo S_(2) flake,and the constructed NAND gate demonstrates the universal functionality of the transistors as well.This work provides an alternative strategy to fully take the advantages of 2 D materials for high-performance field-effect transistors.展开更多
