The results indicate that the contribution of ligand to spin-orbit coupling interaction should be considered for our studied systems. Moreover, the relationships between D and the spin-obit coupling coefficients as well as the average parameter and the divergent parameter are discussed.展开更多

We show the wellknown spin-charge separation in this 1D system by means of bosonization and Bogoliubov transformation. To evaluate analytically the one-particle equal-time correlation functions, Cazalilla's methods are extended to spin-charge sectors. It is found that in long time limit the behavior of correlations does not coincide with that of equilibrium equal-time correlations of two coupled spinful Luttinger liquids. In order to compare with experimental results, the improved exponent that governs the power-law behavior of equal-time correlations of the non-equilibrium system is obtained at the end of this work.展开更多

These Majorana bound states are ideal platform for studying non-Abelian statistics. Meanwhile, they are proposed to be useful in quantum computation. In this review, we introduce the basic concepts and models in this area. We begin from the Kitaev model, which is the most concise model for one-dimensional topological superconductivity. Then, we discuss how to realize this model with spin-orbit coupling in realistic materials. Finally, we show some simple methods to detect the Majorana bound states and study their novel properties with the help of adjacent quantum dots.展开更多
