The core is the demand requisition, contradiction resolution and operation classification. For the demand requisition, the deep and comprehensive demand elements are collected by the conjugating analysis. For the contradiction resolution, the conflict between the demand and operating elements are solved by the extension reasoning, extension transformation and consistency judgment. For the operating classification, the operating importance among the operating elements is calculated by the extension clustering so as to guide the production operation and ensure the production safety. Through the actual application in the cascade reaction process of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) of a chemical plant, cases study and comparison show that the proposed extension theory-based production operation method is significantly better than the traditional experience-based operation method in actual production process, which exploits a new way to the research on the production operating methods for industrial process.展开更多

In the experiments, circular metal sheets are formed into the quasi-cup samples by compressing them between a Teflon-filled die and a rigid punch with desirable shape. To investigate influences of different parameters on the forming progress, 12 rigid punches with different dimensions, two blank material types of aluminum and galvanized iron, three blank thicknesses of 0.6, 1.1 and 1.5 mm, and two Teflon-fillers of PVC and polyurethane are used in several experimental tests. In the analytical part, theoretical deformation models of metal blank and Teflon-filler are introduced and based on energy method, energy absorptions by the blank and Teflon-filler are calculated to derive a theoretical formula for predicting total required energy of the forming process. For this purpose, several energy absorption mechanisms are considered in the blank and filler. Furthermore, predictions by theoretical equation are compared with the corresponding experimental tests to study the verity of the calculated formulas. Theoretical and experimental results illustrate change trend of forming energy with respect to blank thickness. Also, the performed forming tests show that when external cone angle of rigid punch with respect to the horizontal direction increases, forming energy increases nonlinearly; and when the depth of spherical part of rigid punch increases, the probability of rupture increases. Additionally, the experiments demonstrate that there is a direct relationship between the forming energy and flow stress of the blanks. Furthermore, experimental observations illustrate that forming energy of a certain blank with PVC Teflon-filler is higher than that of a similar specimen with polyurethane Teflon-filler; but, the probability of wrinkling decreases when PVC Teflon-pad is used as the filler; and it is advantage of PVC Teflon-filler with respect to polyurethane Teflon.展开更多

The mechanism of catalytic esterification proved by IR spectra of the resins was found that O-H and N-H of the N-hydroxyl sulfonamide resin reacted with the acetic anhydride respectively to form the active intermediate polystyrene N,O-diacetyl sulfonamate which was cleaved by n-butanol to produce butyl acetate. The catalytic esterification by resin 1 was in good agreement with the kinetic model of 揵i-bi-ping-pong?mechanism.展开更多

Time-dependent morphologic evolution was made in order to explore the formation mechanism of the as-prepared product. The copper selenides with different morphologies, phases and structural forms could be prepared by varying the synthesis parameters, such as precursor molar ratios, precursor combinations, and the molecular weight of PVP. The fernwort-like superstructures of CuSe show excellent Fenton-like catalytic activities in degrading malachite green (MG) and rhodamine B (RhB). These catalysts play an important role in the degradation process of MG and RhB solution with the aid of H202 which can yield highly reactive hydroxyl radicals (HO.). Besides, the as-prepared CuSe catalyst is stable and reusable, thus it could be applied to the treatment of the dye contaminated waste water.展开更多

Methods: Human embryo cortical neuronal cells, seeded on poly ( D,L-lactide-co-glycolide) (PLGA) membrane scaffolds, were elongated with a se lf-made neuro-axon extending device. The growth and morphological changes of n euron axons were observed to measure axolemmal permeability after elongation. Ne urofilament protein was stained by immunohistochemical technique. Results: Human embryo neuron axon could be elongated and cultur ed on the PLGA membrane and retain their normal form and function. Conclusions: Three dimensional scaffolds with elongated neuron axon have the basic characteristics of artificial nerves, indicating a fundement al theory of nerve repair with elongated neuron axon.展开更多
