A facile approach to the preparation of a novel magnetically separable H_5PMo_(10)V_2O_(40)/Fe_3O_4/g-C_3N_4(PMoV/Fe_3O_4/g-C_3N_4) nanocomposite by chemical impregnation is demonstrated.The prepared nanocomposi...A facile approach to the preparation of a novel magnetically separable H_5PMo_(10)V_2O_(40)/Fe_3O_4/g-C_3N_4(PMoV/Fe_3O_4/g-C_3N_4) nanocomposite by chemical impregnation is demonstrated.The prepared nanocomposite was characterized and its acidity was measured by potentiometric titration.PMoV/Fe_3O_4/g-C_3N_4 showed high catalytic activity in the selective oxidative desulfurization of sulfides to their corresponding sulfoxides or sulfones.The catalytic oxidation of a dibenzothiophene(DBT)-containing model oil and that of real oil were also studied under optimized conditions.In addition,the effects of various nitrogen compounds,as well as the use of one- and two-ring aromatic hydrocarbons as co-solvents,on the catalytic removal of sulfur from DBT were investigated.The catalyst was easily separated and could be recovered from the reaction mixture by using an external magnetic field.Additionally,the remaining reactants could be separated from the products by simple decantation if an appropriate solvent was chosen for the extraction.The advantages of this nanocatalyst are its high catalytic activity and reusability;it can be used at least four times without considerable loss of activity.展开更多

According to the analysis of the comparison of the physiochemical properties of the polyamine inhibitor, a polyamine polymer drilling fluid system was established by means of adding UAE polyamine into traditional polymer drilling fluid. Conventional properties and environmental influence of this system have been evaluated in this paper. The result indicates that the polymer drilling fluid system optimized by polyamine shows a high-performance, such as excellent rejection performance, better rheological and filtration properties, better environmental protection functions. Thus it can be used in high water-sensitive, high temperature, high pressure or vulnerable formation drilling operations.展开更多
Theranostic nanoprobes can potentially integrate imaging and therapeutic capabilities into a single platform,offering a new personalized cancer diagnostic tool.However,there is a growing concern that their clinical ap...Theranostic nanoprobes can potentially integrate imaging and therapeutic capabilities into a single platform,offering a new personalized cancer diagnostic tool.However,there is a growing concern that their clinical application is not safe,particularly due to metal-containing elements,such as the gadolinium used in magnetic resonance imaging(MRI).We demonstrate for the first time that the photothermal melting of the DNA duplex helix was a reliable and versatile strategy that enables the on-demand degradation of the gadolinium-containing MRI reporter gene from polydopamine(PDA)-based theranostic nanoprobes.The combination of chemotherapy(doxorubicin)and photothermal therapy,which leads to the enhanced anti-tumor effect.In vivo MRI tracking reveals that renal filtration was able to rapidly clear the free gadolinium-containing MRI reporter from the mice body.This results in a decrease in the long-term toxic effect of theranostic MRI nanoprobes.Our findings may pave the way to address toxicity issues of the theranostic nanoprobes.展开更多

Through gel electrophoresis, atomic force microscopy, and dynamic light scattering experiments, compounds 3 and 4b bearing both [12]aneN3 and carbazol moieties showed effective DNA condensation ability at the concen- tration of 80 jaM. Investigations from EB displacement fluorescence spectra, viscosity titration, and ionic strength effects re vealed that the effective DNA condensation comes from the appropriate combination of carbazol and [12]aneN3 units in the bifunctional molecules, and the DNA condensation process is reversible. The incorporation of triazole units in the molecules clearly reduced the cytotoxicity.展开更多
