The widely used Aspetyillus niger lipase (ANL) was immobilized on the PD-MNPs (ANL@PD-MNPs) with a protein loading of 138 mg/g and an activity recovery of 83.6% under optimized conditions. For the immobilization, the pH and immobilization time were investigated. The pH and thermal and storage stability of the ANL@PD-MNPs significant- ly surpassed those of free ANL. The ANL@PD-MNPs had better solvent tolerance than free ANL. The secondary structure of free ANL and ANL@PD-MNPs was analyzed by infrared spectroscopy, A kinetic study demonstrated that the ANL@PD-MNPs had enhanced enzyme-substrate affinity and high catalytic efficiency. The ANL@PD-MNPs was applied as a biocatalyst for the regioselective acylation of dihydromyricetin (DMY) in DMSO and gave a conversion of 79.3%, which was higher than that of previous reports. The ANL@PD-MNPs retained over 55% of its initial activity after 10 cycles of reuse. The ANL@PD-MNPs were readily separated from the reaction system by a magnet. The PD-MNPs is an excellent support for ANL and the resulting ANL@PD-MNPs displayed good potential for the efficient synthesis of dihydromyricetin-3-acetate by enzymatic regioselective acylation.展开更多

Commercial PAM providers suggest that besides its increasing water availability, PAMs also increase nutrient availability to plants. To test this premise, four application rates (0.0 g·kg^-1, 0.33 g·kg^-1, 1.66 g·kg^-1, 3.33 g·kg^-1 and 6.66 g·kg^-1) ofa PAM were mixed with sandy and loamy soils to evaluate its effect on nutrient leaching and retention in these soils. Miscible displacements of chloride were conducted on columns of PAM-soil mixtures and results were evaluated by an equilibrium CDE (convection dispersion equation) model. Increasing the PAM rates up to 1.66 g·kg^-1 resulted in increased early appearance and dispersive transport of chloride in sand. In addition, increasing the PAM rates gradually caused increased tailing of the breakthrough curves of chloride in both soils. These suggested that PAM increased preferential transport of chloride while it increased retention of chloride in soils. Effect of PAM on preferential transport and retardation of CI was greater in sand than loam.展开更多

The tensile impact experiments on aramid fiber material are performed in strain rate range from 0.01/s to 1000/s. Experimental results show that the mechanical properties of aramid fiber material are insensitive to strain rate in the range from 0. 01/s to 1 000/s. An energy model to predict final velocity of composite laminates subjected to ballistic impact is proposed on the basis of experimental data of quasi-static perforation through the targets. The predicted final velocities show good agreement with the experimental final velocity.展开更多

The heterogeneity of cancer cells causes an extensive multidrug resistance through the aberrantly active Hedgehog (Hh) signaling pathway. Cyclopamine is a chemical compound that can block Hh signaling pathway, and a combination use of cyclopamine with anticancer drug would be beneficial for killing heterogeneous cancer cells. In the present study, we aimed to develop a kind type of fimctional drug liposomes for eliminating heterogeneous cancer, The study was performed on human breast cancer cells. A distearoylphosphoethanolamine polyethylene glycol (DSPE-PEG2000)-cyclopamine conjugate was newly synthesized by a nucleophilic substitution reaction, and confirmed by MALDI-TOF mass. An HPLC method was established and validated for qualification of epirubicin. Functional epimbicin liposomes were successful constructed by modifying with DSPE-PEG2o00-cyclopamine, displaying a particle size in nano-scale (approximately 98 nm) and a high epirubicin encapsulation (〉97%). The CD44+/CD24-side population was characterized in defining heterogeneous breast cancer cells. As compared with regular epirubicin liposomes, fimctional epirubicin liposomes exhibited an evidently enhanced cellular drug uptake and a significant killing effect in overall breast cancer cells. In conclusion, the functional epirubicin liposomes could be a useful drug delivery carrier for eliminating heterogeneous breast cancer cells.展开更多
