General dynamic model for educational assembling-type robot and its fast simulation algorithm

To realize automatic modeling and dynamic simulation of the educational assembling-type robot with open structure, a general dynamic model for the educational assembling-type robot and a fast simulation algorithm are put forward. First, the educational robot system is abstracted to a multibody system and a general dynamic model of the educational robot is constructed by the Newton-Euler method. Then the dynamic model is simplified by a combination of components with fixed connections according to the structural characteristics of the educational robot. Secondly, in order to obtain a high efficiency simulation algorithm, based on the sparse matrix technique, the augmentation algorithm and the direct projective constraint stabilization algorithm are improved. Finally, a numerical example is given. The results show that the model and the fast algorithm are valid and effective. This study lays a dynamic foundation for realizing the simulation platform of the educational robot.

A lot of highly educated personnel in order to better adapt to social development and changes, constantly to learn knowledge, also has the characteristics of vocational college students. Our research combines the characteristics of the college tourism personnel training mode with the education reform which will enhance the performance of the teaching process.

In this paper, we conduct research on the project-driven alliance between the college and enterprise teaching mode and the applications on the contemporary vocational education. To achieve the aim of higher education popularization in our country, to vigorously develop vocational education is the important way. Higher vocational education for national and local economic development is the purpose of training the production, construction, management and service first line need to cultivate high quality personnel. Higher vocational education is the social demand as the primary guidance of employment education, cultivate the students should be a technology applied talents with skills. Adult Education and Training in Portugal： A Multi-case Study Focused on Autobiographical Experiences

In our actual framework of constant social and cultural changing, we are witnessing a transformation of the adults＇ patterns and pathways of life. Currently, people＇s lives cannot be analyzed using a macro-perspective, marked by partitioning phases, but the various stages we undergo from childhood to the third age are being overlapped and this is reflected with particular relevance in the field of learning, where the notion of lifelong learning is present in our personal, social and professional everyday contexts, in Portugal, the New Opportunities Initiative is building new and innovative education and training pathways, which privilege the autobiographical methods, where adults, from their life stories, are challenged to resort to new ways of valuing their experiences, potentiating the acquisition of new skills, in a logic of personal, social and professional empowerments. This formative/training logic has shown to be the promoter of a growing autonomy from the adults. We will present, here, the qualitative multi-case study we are developing in this area, which is centered on adults＇/professionals＇ autobiographies and focuses on the understanding of adult education, lifelong learning and on the analysis of the mediation figures associated with them.

Analyzing the Relationships Between Factors Affecting Adolescents＇ Happiness in OECD Countries

The aim of this study is to investigate the causal relationships between key factors relating to education that affect the happiness of adolescents, and to put forward policy suggestions wherewith 20 OECD countries may raise their levels of adolescent happiness. The HBSC score of adolescents from 20 OECD countries was selected as an indicator for happiness, and a number of independent variables such as per capita GDP and per capita educational expenditure were included in the analysis. A structural equation model was employed for the analysis. The research results show that the variables that directly affected happiness were per capita educational expenditure, educational decentralization level, number of students per teacher, and others. Of these, per capita educational expenditure had the greatest influence. Of the paths to adolescent happiness, those that contained a significant indirect effect were ＂per capita GDP → per capita educational expenditure → happiness＂ and ＂educational decentralization → number of students per teacher → happiness＂, which were significant at the level ofp 〈 0.05. Compiling the paths toward adolescent happiness focusing on the significance of these direct and indirect effects shows that the ＂per capita GDP →per capita educational expenditure → happiness＂ path has the greatest effect.

COMPLEX CONCEPT LATTICES FOR SIMULATING HUMAN PREDICTION IN SPORT

In order to address the study of complex systems,the detection of patterns in their dynamics could play a key role in understanding their evolution.In particular,global patterns are required to detect emergent concepts and trends,some of them of a qualitative nature.Formal concept analysis(FCA) is a theory whose goal is to discover and extract knowledge from qualitative data(organized in concept lattices).In complex environments,such as sport competitions,the large amount of information currently available turns concept lattices into complex networks.The authors analyze how to apply FCA reasoning in order to increase confidence in sports predictions by means of detecting regularities from data through the management of intuitive and natural attributes extracted from publicly available information.The complexity of concept lattices-considered as networks with complex topological structure- is analyzed.It is applied to building a knowledge based system for confidence-based reasoning,which simulates how humans tend to avoid the complexity of concept networks by means of bounded reasoning skills.

AN ALGORITHM FOR DETERMINATION OF AGE-SPECIFIC FERTILITY RATE FROM INITIAL AGE STRUCTURE AND TOTAL POPULATION

Age-specific fertility rate and total fertility rate of females are the most important parame- ters in population dynamics. This paper proposes an algorithm to get these parameters from the initial age distribution and the total population the years followed. The idea is natural in the sense that the total population is easily to be obtained in a closed society. The authors use a discrete population model to formulate this problem into an inverse problem, which is ill-posed generally. A necessary and sufficient condition for the identifiability is established. An algorithm for reconstruction of age-specific fertility rate is developed.
