Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare children's physical activity (PA) levels, self-efficacy, and enjoyment when experiencing dance-exergaming (Dance Dance Revolution, DDR) and aerobic dance in physical education. Methods: A total of 53 urban fourth grade children were divided into two groups, with one group playing DDR and the other group engaged in aerobic dance. After 15 min, the groups switched activities and continued their respective activities for another 15 min. Participants wore NL- 1000 pedometers in four consecutive sessions, and responded to a questionnaire measuring their self-efficacy and enjoyment toward two dance activities at the end of the first session. Results: Children spent more moderate-to-vigorous PA (MVPA) time (p 〈 0.01, 72 = 0.49) in aerobic dance than DDR. Additionally, children reported significantly higher self-efficacy (p 〈 0.001, 72 = 0.28) and enjoyment (p 〈 0.01, η2 = 0.18) in DDR than in aerobic dance. Conclusion: Health care professionals and educators may not replace the traditional PAs and sports with interactive video games, but may use exergaming as an excellent addition to promote PA. Despite the psychological training is relevant to, and associated with physical exercise, but its nature determines its specificity. On the psychological point of view, due to the reinforcement of external stimuli, which led to strong psychological pressure, these are manifested through the behaviors of the players when they are compete with others, such as fear, excessive psychological tension, incorrect competition motivation, ambiguous purpose, lack of confidence, even there are phenomenon like isolated characteristics and irritation, etc. Thus, the regulation and control of mental activity, the overcome of the psychological barriers, and the implementation of the psychology training have become a big question which teachers and coaches must pay attention to and need to be solved. 展开更多

This sphere forces us to implement new methods and approaches in everyday learning process. The following academic research done on psycho-pedagogical sphere in higher education showed that the enhancement in the educational system is developing slowly because of the lack of research. By all means, it is the right time to follow the objectives and try to develop and suggest the current teaching process using technology that of course will be based on the development of quality control and thesaurus-agency approaches. As mentioned in Bolkan and Goodboy, their research showed that teachers who promote intellectual stimulation empower and enrich students both cognitive and affective getting knowledge and experience process in the classroom. The main objective of current experiment is that it suggests intellectual stimulation which is linked to intrinsic motivation, and that intrinsic motivation has all the advantages to influence students' use of effective studying behaviors. According to Dunlosky, Marsh, Nathan, Willingham and Rawson, there are specific techniques which can influence on the overall process of higher education. 展开更多
