[Method] The seeds of Thuia sutchuenensis, coI-Iected from Xianyi Town, Chengkou County, Chongqing City, were used as material. The effects of temperature and matrix on germination rate and emergence rate of Thuia sutchuenensis were investigated. In addition, the controI effects of different-type and different-concentration pesticides on seedIing bIight of Thuia sutchuenensis were also studied. [Result] The suitabIe temperature for seed germination of Thuia sutchuenensis was 15-20 ℃, whiIe the optimum temperature was 20 ℃, under which the germination rate couId reach 95%. At temperature of 25 ℃, the seeds of Thuia sutchuenensis almost couId not germinate. The seeds of Thuia sutchuenensis germinated most if soaked in warm water of 40 ℃. After 24 h soaking, the germi-nated seeds were not increased significantIy. Among the matrixes for contalner seedIing, the 18th matrix, composed by sawdust (2/3) and forest topsoiI or general soiI (1/3), was conducive to the seed germination in contalners. Among the pesti-cides, the controI effect of ferrous suIfate on diseases and pests in Thuia sutchue-nensis was best with cumuIative incidence of 15%, foI owed by those of fe-naminosuIf (17%), Bordeaux mixture (21%), KangkuIing (22%) and potassium per-manganate. [Conclusion] Sawdust had great effect on emergence rate of Thuia sutchuenensis in contalner seedIing, which might be reIated to good water retention and permeabiIity of sawdust. However, too much forest soiI was not conducive to the emergence rate of Thuia sutchuenensis in contalner seedIing. Ferrous suIfate had the best controI effect on diseases and pests in Thuia sutchuenensis.展开更多

Family planning has come to be a common discussion between the gastroenterologist and the inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) patient. Disease control prior to desired conception and throughout pregnancy is the most important thing to keep in mind when caring for the IBD patient. Continued medical management during pregnancy is crucial in optimizing outcomes. Studies indicate that quiescent disease prior to conception infer the best pregnancy outcomes, similar to those in the general population. Active disease prior to and during pregnancy, can lead to complications such as pre-term labor, low birth weight, and small for gestational age infants. Although there are no definitive long term effects of pregnancy on IBD, there are some limited studies that suggest that it may alter the disease course. Understanding the literature and its limitations is important in the modern era of IBD care. Educating the patient and taking a team approach with the obstetrician will help achieve successful outcomes for mother and baby.展开更多

The conclusions are as follows: (1) in educational production function, output elasticity of public educational expenditure exceeds private educational expenditure's. The degrees of contribution of public and private educational expenditure reflect that China should increase public educational expenditure. (2) regional educational technical efficiency is affected by both structure of educational expenditure and levels of regional economic growth. Primary educational technical efficiency of east, middle and west regions all tended to fall down during 2007 to 2011.展开更多

However, the demand for education services by the latter still appears limited. This is due to known structural and cultural limits that are found widely in this type of business and to the fact that the provision of training---especially that which is funded^oes not seem to address adequately SMEs' needs; in many cases, such training is not stimulating, because it is perceived as too general. In fact, SMEs do not constitute a single homogeneous group and therefore assistance needs vary among the different types of firms. So, especially in relation to internationalization, it is clear that there are important differences to consider due to the variety of approaches and ways of developing this process. In order to optimize the resources to invest in the promotion of training, there is a need to find a proper balance between providing "viable solutions for all businesses" and offering "targeted responses and tailored services". In such a context, the main objective of this paper is to identify and systematize the variables that most influence the SMEs' training needs related to internationalization by taking into account the differences among them. To this end, an empirical analysis was developed involving a significant number of Italian SMEs by using a combination of qualitative research methods. The results show the critical issues faced by the investigated firms during their internationalization process and highlight some important variables that affect their training needs: export involvement, characteristics of the product/market, characteristics of the company, exporting strategy, and human resources. Based on these variables, the writers identified clusters of firms characterized by similar needs and problems to be faced.展开更多

According to statistics, there are more than 500 colleges and universities opening animation specialty and more than thousands of universities having related courses. But in recent years, there has been a contradictory phenomenon. On one hand, it is really hard for large numbers of graduates to find jobs related to animation. On the other hand, it is difficult for domestic animation enterprises to recruit outstanding animation talents. The main reason for this phenomenon is that the animation education in colleges and universities can not satisfy the demand from market and can not meet the requirements of the animation industry development in china. So we have the necessity to discuss the suitable education mode for animation development.展开更多

While researchers have applied different social science perspectives to analyze cross-border higher education and IBCs, they usually emphasize developed countries as exporters and developing countries as importers of higher education. The phenomenon of developing countries as exporters of higher education has seldom been looked at so far in the research. This paper first describes the current development of IBCs, then illustrates what social science perspectives have been used on this topic, followed by how push-pull theory relates to developing countries being exporters of IBCs. The paper aims to combine E.S. Lee's push-pull theory and Gu's push-pull framework to analyze the push and pull factors in their advertisement and marketing claims when higher education institutions (HEIs) from developing countries plan to establish branch campuses in foreign countries. Soochow University in Laos is used as a case study. Furthermore, intermediate barriers and solutions are also identified in this case study. The changes correspond to changes in the birth-rate. The former model of birth-rate which was characterized by the prevalence of legitimate children, child-bearing at a younger age and which ensured a change of generations, it was replaced by a new model characterized by having illegitimate children, the postponement of child-bearing, and low birth-rate, which does not ensure a change of generations. Although love relationships, marriage, and children are still considered to be the recognized values, these changes have affected the conception of child's education in the family and the perception of child as a value. It is therefore relevant to evaluate future spouses' preparation for a modern marriage and to constantly improve it. Such preparation is usually understood as young people's readiness far their first marriage. Readiness for the second marriage and child's education in the second family are no less important though still insufficiently explored empirically and theoretically generalized. This paper explores attitudes to child's education in the second marriage. The research was conducted inquiring people who wanted to create a family or establish long-term relationships. They were members of the online dating site "Harmonious Couple".展开更多

文摘Since the end of the twenty-first century, relationships in the family have been rapidly changing in Lithuania. They were members of the online dating site "Harmonious Couple".
